Can't quite believe I've just written that title...after a lot of indecision DH and I have decided to see where fate takes us. So we're not obsessively trying, but I know generally when I ovulate so we'll DTD around that time. Tbh we're still not 100% convinced we'd cope with three, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith.

I've been thinking about it constantly and our ages mean it's now or never. We adore our 2 DC's and if that's what we're meant to have we'll be very happy, but if fate has other ideas, we're up for the challenge!

About to start AF and then off we go Smile

@UntilTheVeryEnd I think I will try OPKs next cycle. I really didn't want to get too obsessed, but it would give me a better idea. I used to be able to trust my ovulation pains, but they seem a long way away from what FF says and my continued EWCM. All good fun Smile

@LittleTipple do you get ovulation pains before ovulation according to FF? I was reading something the other day about how ovulation pain is actually the follicles maturing rather than the egg releasing. It was really interested (I got way too obsessed a long time ago Grin)

LittleTipple · 11/06/2018 22:13

@NoseringGirl I've been looking back at my charts from when I used to keep note of everything and generally I seem to get ovulation pain the day before/day of ovulation. However, I think this cycle it is as you say, the follicles maturing, because then I've had all these days of EWCM, so I really don't think I o'd that early. Still getting lots of niggles, so think I may be o'ing today/tomorrow. DH still away so I'll take this as a practice cycle!

CD37 here. Getting fed up :( just want to come on so we can try again next month. No sign and BFNs

LittleTipple · 12/06/2018 07:36

@Wingingit321 sorry it's taking so long. So frustrating when you want to start afresh. Do something nice for yourself today. You deserve it Smile

I’m cleaning the house. Joys of already having 2 kids 😂 I’m stopping drinking this morning, see if it helps!

Anyday88 · 12/06/2018 08:17

Feeling rubbish here! Mc #3 I’m April, tried again last month with no success! It happened first time for the pregnancy I mc and my other 2 children so just feeling like the mc has messed my body up 😥
Doesn’t help that Af came 2 days early so I am sure it’s making me feel more emotional. Also that my job is terrible at the moment and making me really unhappy 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry for the rant there!!

Hope you are all ok!

LittleTipple · 12/06/2018 08:53

Haha oh well @Wingingit321, maybe tea and a biscuit then!

OP posts:
LittleTipple · 12/06/2018 14:58

Sorry to hear that @Anyday88. Don't worry about the rant, we all need one sometimes! Is there anything you can do to help the job situation?

@LittleTipple I never used to get nausea but since both children everyone around ov I feel absolutely dreadful and I get 3 rounds of increasing ewcm that lasts a couple of days.

Been away for a couple of days so just getting caught up....have finally convinced hubby that we can afford for me to stay home if I want, although I think I will just drop down to part time so I have a nice balance.

@Anyday88 sending hugs

UntilTheVeryEnd · 13/06/2018 18:33

@Anyday88 sending cuddles!

Had some most annoying news today ladies... got a call from my GP cancelling my app for mirena removal next week... can’t get another for 5 WEEKS 😤

This means we loose a whole month TTC... I know my chances would be slim to catch first month but it does happen... at the very least it’s more time to wait for my cycle to regulate. Feeling really bummed as was getting geared up for Tuesday as D day

CamdenTownie · 13/06/2018 18:35

Hi,

I'm currently ttc #5 - but I wanted to reply to this post as we've also decided that due to my age we will give it a go and see what happens, I don't want to regret not trying and I'm 38 so time is running out.

Currently on cycle 1 of ttc, due to test next Friday but will try and hold out for Saturday if af hasn't arrived as I want dh to share the test with me.

sambababy · 13/06/2018 19:22

Hi everyone! Please can I join too? I've actually not decided yet about #3. Always wanted 3, maybe because I'm one of 3, but struggling lately with my 2DC (just turned 2 & 4). I seem to have lost all of my patience and am seriously questioning whether I could cope with another. It's like my head has 50 reasons why not to do it, but my heart feels the opposite.

Good luck to all of you ttc'ing! How exciting!

Megs87 · 13/06/2018 20:16

@Sambababy totally the same, mine are just 4 and nearly 3 and have been driving me insane and I'm one of 3. Part of me thinks I'm insane but the other part of me knows I'm just not done yet. Hoping that by the time DC3 arrives these 2 will have settled down and it will fit in to the chaos!

Megs87 · 13/06/2018 20:17

Welcome @CamdenTownie good luck for next week.

Wingingit321 · 13/06/2018 20:51

I think my period is coming. Means I’m def out this month but means we can move onto next month. Also explains why I’ve eaten so much the last 2 days 😁

Megs87 · 13/06/2018 21:24

@Wingingit123 glad I'm not trying only one who eats my bodyweight in food on the run up, but really hope AF doesn't turn up xx

LittleTipple · 13/06/2018 21:28

@Megs87 I'm the same since children I def feel my ovulation far more than I ever did. Although this month seems particularly skewed.

Oh my days @UntilTheVeryEnd that really sucks. 5 weeks - what a pain. Is it only the GP who can do it, are there any family planning clinics or anything like that as another option?

Hello @CamdenTownie and @sambababy! @CamdenTownie I guess you'd say that three is definitely manageable if you're going for #5?! Like several ladies here, I go back and forth on whether a third will throw me over the edge!

OP posts:
CamdenTownie · 13/06/2018 21:31

Yes 3 is definitely manageable! My advice would be to relax and not worry about coping as you'll be fine once baby is here I had three under 5 and it was tricky at first but it's great for them to be so close in age!

GruffaloPants · 14/06/2018 16:36

Anyone making any changes to prepare for hopefully having a DC3?

I am trying to improve bedtime/get the kids down earlier. Working towards DD1 going to sleep alone, and DD2 going to sleep in cot rather than feeding to sleep. Last night went well, so I guess tonight won't!

UntilTheVeryEnd · 14/06/2018 17:16

@LittleTipple I tried phoning the sexual health clinic is my nearest city (45miles away) but they were really snotty and said my GP had to refer me and would be at least 6-8 weeks. Best of sticking with my GP but it is so frustrating - DH said everything happens for a reason so there is obviously we are not meant to conceive in July.

@GruffaloPants that defo sounds like good prep for baby... we are making several preparations including an Home extension to make bedroom 3/4 (altho I’m telling everyone bedroom 4 is going to be my study 😬) I REALLY need to start thinking about moving DS onto his toddler bed in preparation but since DC 3 won’t be conceived for at the very least another 6 weeks 😔 we still have lots of time to get the cot back hahaha
I’m also taking folic acid and vit d in preparation for my impending impregnation

What about everyone else?

Wingingit321 · 14/06/2018 17:30

We are trying to get DS2 who is 3 into his own bed all night. Also have some decorating to finish off.
Period def on its way, spotting, in pain and usual Eugh feeling. To be honest I’m ok with it now, it’s worse with long cycles when you know you aren’t pregnant but have to wait to come on to move on to the next month.
This months plan (month 6 I believe !) no booze, inositol, start taking zinc with my folic acid (pre Natals make me feel sick, think it’s the iron in there) and look into a low GI diet.

Megs87 · 14/06/2018 18:23

We are trying to get DS2 into his own bed all night too. He goes down then wakes about 1 and wants to be in bed with us. I'm on a prenatal multivitamin and we have been to look at a bigger house. Ours is fine for the first few years but downstairs won't be big enough for 3 bigger kids.

Wingingit321 · 14/06/2018 18:31

I told DS2 that If he stays in his own bed all night tonight he can have a chocolate bar after breakfast 😂 I’m getting desperate. He needs a couple of days of instant rewards before we go onto star charts . He goes down at 1830-1846 and wakes anywhere between 9-11 to get into our bed. Doesn’t require anything, just wants to sleep with us. He says he just wants a hug. I wouldn’t mind but he’s recently started snoring so badly I’m not getting enough sleep!

NoseringGirl · 14/06/2018 21:45

We have the same DS2 issues! The only way we got DS1 staying in his bed all night was by having DS2. A baby waking him up repeatedly was much worse than staying in his own bed.
Probably not a sustainable long term plan, just keep having babies!
