Can't quite believe I've just written that title...after a lot of indecision DH and I have decided to see where fate takes us. So we're not obsessively trying, but I know generally when I ovulate so we'll DTD around that time. Tbh we're still not 100% convinced we'd cope with three, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith.

I've been thinking about it constantly and our ages mean it's now or never. We adore our 2 DC's and if that's what we're meant to have we'll be very happy, but if fate has other ideas, we're up for the challenge!

About to start AF and then off we go Smile

@thatshabbychick I had support from them for a year after each baby. I got quite poorly when DS2 was 3 weeks old and DH called my nurse who was at my house within 45 mins and I was put on medication by the afternoon. If I hadn't had that incredible support I probably would've ended up in hospital. The hormones aren't good for me, not quite sure why I'm wanting to put myself through it again 🙈

Welcome @LatteLover12!

LatteLover12 · 23/08/2018 08:40

Thank you @thatshabbychick I’m keeping my fingers crossed re cycles. When I was ttc#1 (a million years ago!) they were all over the place but after I’d had DS2 settled down to a regular 32 days. Then I met my new partner & went on the pill so I’m praying it hasn’t buggered everything up again!

I’m 37 so no time to waste Grin

Mamabear12 · 24/08/2018 13:42

Got my p one day early. So will need to start trying again next month. But my cycles are a bit irregular now from 24-28 days...mostly around 25 days which makes me wonder if I am even ovulating. I had sex the first day I saw the EWCM, which came on day 13, but according to online fertility calculator I should have ovulated day 10...but once when I did the ovulation strips I ovulated like day 18!!! So now I am all CONFUSED! Ah well.

thatshabbychick · 24/08/2018 20:46

@Mamabear12 Sorry to hear that. Sending you lots of luck for this next cycle 🤞🏼🤞🏼I don't feel hopeful for this cycle either. I'm on cycle day 19, think I ovulated day 14/15. Have been having some cramps in ovary type area, but I'm convinced it's because I didn't ovulate and it's been a cyst this month (I have PCOS). Started to feel a bit sick tonight and got a little bit paranoid l, but then I remembered that I've eaten rubbish all day and had a coffee at 4pm (I always feel unwell when I have coffee! 🙈), so it's probably all psychological 😩 Xx

thatshabbychick · 24/08/2018 20:49

@LatteLover12 Wishing you lots of luck. I'm sure your cycles will settle down soon. When I came
off of the pill to conceive our second, I remember it taking a good 4-5 months to regulate again. I'd been researching fertility tips etc and the biggest tip seemed to be to ensure that your diet/nutrition is good and to manage your weight. I was overweight, so I started trying to be healthier and I started eating quite a bit of salmon (I hadn't like it before that) and I fell pregnant the next month! I'm convinced it was the salmons doing! 😂xx

Mamabear12 · 25/08/2018 00:28

@thatshabbychick thanks. I also feel sick if I have coffee late in the day. I did some research and I think I need to fix my cycle. I haven’t been as healthy that past several months and drinking more after a few deaths close to me (including my father). Been drinking more etc. My periods became irregular and I wonder if it’s effected my fertility as I was clock work 28 day cycle for over ten years and got pregnant first try first two times. But then cycle got messed up and I’m not sure when or if I ovulate . So I’m hoping to get things back on track. When I was in university I thought I might have PCOS and saw a Chinese doctor. He fixed my cycles and they were great for over ten years. It was amazing. I had 21 day cycles but sometimes irregular , acne etc. Anyway, he gave me teas to drink and pills and it somehow balanced me. Cycles were clock work for so long until this past year when I lost two very close friends to cancer and my father. Then stress and bad diet/drinking caused my system to get out of whack. Hopefully you are having symptoms of early pregnancy. And as I’m sure you know even w PCOS, you can still get pregnant. It’s just more Tricky. Crossing fingers for you!

Flamingosnbears · 25/08/2018 10:54

Hiya All 👋, thanks for the invite Untiltheveryend Congrats on your ➕!! 😀. How long did it take you? X

UntilTheVeryEnd · 25/08/2018 14:09

@Flamingosnbears 👋 hiya! Glad to have you! I’ve been on this thread from the very beginning - I had to wait for a ridiculous amount of weeks to get my mirena coil removed. I joined in with the ladies while I waited of course and TTC vicariously through them. I had my coil removed from 5 weeks ago and waited for my period to arrive so I could start Cd1 - it never came and I got a postive test Blush not sure when exactly I ovulated or actually conceived but the CB digital said i was 2-3 weeks so must have been around 5th of August. I’ve booked to see the midwife but they can’t see me until 10.5 weeks Angry which I think is too long considering I’m not sure of dates and have medication issues to discuss but hey ho!
I’m just more grumpy that I did get to enjoy more jolly good sex before I got my BFP - I’m just so tired now I can barley stay up past 9pm haha x

Flamingosnbears · 25/08/2018 14:34

Untiltheveryend that does seem long considering your situation... Would you consider a private scan?

mummy2019 · 25/08/2018 16:28

Hi ladies 👋🏻

Just stumbled across the link to this thread on another post. I just got my BFP last Sunday on a FRER being 3 days late. It wasn't exceptionally dark but it was definitely there and I didn't have to squint to see it. I had another FRER the day before which was negative. I got a Pregnant 1-2 weeks on the clear blue digital on the Tuesday after and have one left to do. When do you think would be best to test to see if the weeks indicator has moved up? I swore I wouldn't use these tests but I've caved lol. Xxx

This would be my third child xx

ReginaPhalange89 · 25/08/2018 18:44

Hi everyone

New here ! This will be our first month TTC #3 (I think, possibly skipping this cycle!) . Excited as I conceived my first 2 very quickly/easily but know it doesn't mean it'll happen again this time!

Had my copper coil removed two weeks ago and think I can conceive pretty much straight away since there were no hormones involved! Fingers crossed , good luck to everyone else !

LatteLover12 · 25/08/2018 20:21

Ooh congratulations @mummy2019 Smile

Nulanoo · 25/08/2018 20:39

I had a chemical pregnancy last month on our first month. Really not felt up to anything this month and we have only actually dtd once but I’m convinced my boobs are tingling Hmm who knows I’m sure it’s all in my head

mummy2019 · 25/08/2018 22:10

Thank you very much @LatteLover12 x

mondaycando1 · 25/08/2018 23:35

Congratulations until & mummy2019!
@Regina - yep, copper coil out and you can conceive straight away. I had mine out about 9 weeks ago more or less midcycle and coming to the end of the 2nd full cycle now and my cycles have stayed the same length etc Good luck!

RandomUsernameHere · 26/08/2018 12:54

Hi everyone, can I join please?
I have DD and DS already (twins) age 4.
Just come off the combined pill and very excited and also nervous to TTC!

Congratulations to those that have already got BFPs!

Anyday88 · 26/08/2018 19:57

I think it might actually work this time! I am 11 weeks today but this is baby at 8+4 and have my next scan at 12+4 which feels like it’s taking forever to get here!!

How is everyone else?
Congratulations on the bfps!!!

Anyone else trying for DC3?!
Wingingit3211 · 26/08/2018 20:05

Cd 25 . Who knows what’s going on. Continuing to have sex until my period or a positive pregnancy test

LittleTipple · 26/08/2018 21:00

Welcome to all the newcomers Smile Lovely to share the boat with you!

@mummy2019 I'd probably leave it at least a week before testing again.

I'm a bit lost on my cycle. I got my peak OPK, lots of ewcm and was predicted to ovulate on Thursday. Going by a bit of ovulation pain, I thought maybe Friday. However, I still seem to have a bit of ewcm now, maybe going a bit sticky (I'm 10 days after when I normally ovulate). We DTD a decent amount last week, so we're leaving it for now. I think this cycle is out of whack, as not even sure I've ovulated. Will wait for AF and start afresh!

@Anyday88 Gorgeous scan pic. Amazing how 'baby-like' your little bean looks!

mummy2019 · 26/08/2018 21:27

Thanks LittleTipple

Well I got impatient and tried the test yesterday and got my 2-3 weeks and also done a FRER and the test line is now darker than the control line so all good.

I see in your post you say you have been getting a lot of ewcm and it’s a bit past your ovulation dates. This happened to me and I thought I ovulated late although there was so much of it. I got my BFP three days after AF was due. It could be a good sign for you too. When is AF due? X

LittleTipple · 27/08/2018 15:04

Ooh that's excellent news @mummy2019 congratulations! Looking back I had a bit of ewcm after ovulation on my last BFP, but I just feel this cycle is messed up because it's the first one after miscarriage. According to OPKs I def ovulated a week later than normal and then it's just a guessing game of whether I actually ovulated or just geared up to. Based on adding my usual luteal phase to when FF says I ovulated late, I'm due AF around 8th September.

I'm feeling so rough. I'm now almost 9DPO. Have already done a couple of early tests and both BFN. My boobs are a bit sore and feel big, I've had the worst cramping in the last few days and I've felt nauseous a couple of times too. I also think that I might have increased CM which I am sure I don't normally get at this time. My lower back is reallly hurting too, but I've always got issues with my back and I've been alternating between my bed and a mattress on the floor in my sons bedroom for the last few nights, so it could be that. Ive has terrible insomnia in the last couple of nights too. I just don't know whether I should be worried that something might be wrong? With both of my sons pregnancies, I had severe cramping for a couple of days, at about the 5-6 weeks mark. Both times I ended up at the EPU having an internal scan to check everything. So, although I know that it's 'normal' for me to get cramping in early pregnancy, I am worrying because this seems too soon and it's going on for lounger. It's so bad that I couldn't even drive today, it hurts more when I need a wee or when I sit down and it makes me feel a bit sick because it hurts so much- it's on par with early contractions in both of my labours!! I just generally feel rough, I'm worried about cramping, I'm in pain, I'm tired etc. Do you think I should be concerned that I feel so awful? I was thinking maybe I should see how I feel overnight and then could maybe call EPU tomorrow morning? But I'm not sure they'd be willing to see me, because I haven't actually had a BFP yet?? Any advice would be lovely, I usually have healthy anxiety quite badly, but I feel like I've felt quite calm so far, because the possibility of a pregnancy causing the symptoms has made me excited, but now I'm just feeling rough and it's starting to worry me 😩😩x

LatteLover12 · 27/08/2018 20:49

Hi @thatshabbychick

Sorry you’re feeling so rubbish. I wouldn’t worry too much about the aches and pains unless they become sharp/one sided/unbearable. Have you taken any paracetamol? It’s gentle enough to be safe in pregnancy (sorry if that seems obvious).

It sounds like it could be a UTI or kidney infection if it hurts to wee and you have back pain. I’d make a GP appointment to get it checked.

Is the flat/solid surface of the floor helping your back or are you just ending up there because of the insomnia?

I’m sorry I’m not much help! When is AF due?

LittleTipple · 27/08/2018 20:54

@thatshabbychick so sorry that you're feeling rough. If it's so bad you can't drive I think you should definitely get looked at, even if just to put your mind at rest. Could it be a UTI? I'm not sure how it works with your EPU, but I have to have referral from GP before they'll see me, unless I've been previously in a current pregnancy. Maybe give EPU a call to get their opinion. At this early stage, I'm not sure what they'd be able to do, but maybe a trip to GP would be a good idea. Fingers crossed things calm down.
