Anyone else trying for DC3?!

Can't quite believe I've just written that title...after a lot of indecision DH and I have decided to see where fate takes us. So we're not obsessively trying, but I know generally when I ovulate so we'll DTD around that time. Tbh we're still not 100% convinced we'd cope with three, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith.

I've been thinking about it constantly and our ages mean it's now or never. We adore our 2 DC's and if that's what we're meant to have we'll be very happy, but if fate has other ideas, we're up for the challenge!

About to start AF and then off we go

BFN for me today but only 9DPO so hopefully not out just yet. Temps are still up but I'm getting a lot of cramping and back pain.

So sorry to hear AF came @Wingingit3211 - don’t loose hope, you’ll get your BFP soon! Onwards to next cycle.

@LittleTipple and @NoseringGirl crossing fingers for you both! I also had a really awful dream last night about my kids falling on a train track - they fairly give you a shake, even if they are non symptom related!

We’ve been baking here in Scotland - DH has a small holding and grows veg for a little roadside stall. We’ve all been outside since he came home, digging, digging, more digging and bagging veg! Glad I don’t have to DTD til later on this week hahaha!

How's everyone doing? I'm 8dpo and despite trying to ignore all my twinges, I'm obviously symptom spotting like crazy! Biggest thing over the last two days has been a gurgling tummy and tmi, but I'm very gassy. Have looked back at charts for previous pregnancies and this is consistent. Of course it could just be the not-so-healthy food I've been munching

I got a BFN this morning and AF due today. So I'm pretty much out. AF not arrived yet though.

Coil count down offically over!!! Had the coil removed this evening and ready to join in the fun... wish me luck everyone... feeling a little nervous once the doctor reminded me I’m “no longer protected against pregnancy”

@UntilTheVeryEnd Hooray!! Bet it feels a bit weird. Did your doc tell you what to expect in terms of when your cycle will regulate? Guess you can just go for it and see what happens

Happy coil removal day @UntilTheVeryEnd! No sign of AF for me yet. I asked DH to pick up a pregnancy test on his way home from work and he got blue dye tests! I was grasping at straws and thought maybe the IC tests weren't doing the job. I got one of those very faint greyish lines. I know that happens a lot with blue dye though when people aren't actually pregnant. Going to do the other one in the morning if AF hasn't appeared and see if it's any darker.

Aye it does feel a bit weird, exciting but weird! The doctor didn’t say what to expect other than cramps really! We will just wait and see how soon normal service takes to resume. She did say I could get pregnant pretty much immediately- so I got myself all reved up to DTD and DH doesn’t feel like it I can sense this is going to be a common occurrence in the coming weeks/ months! Give me strength

Thanks! Very, very faint line on an IC this morning. Waiting for the FRER to be delivered by Amazon. Worried it should be darker now as AF was due yesterday.

Good luck I'm in the same boat I really want a 3rd we've come off contraceptives a month ago. It took one try with my second baby I was so lucky. I feel like this time is going to take longer though.

Well I feel rough today! 9dpo and I'm so light-headed, bloated and pukey feeling. It could all be pre-AF but I do feel pregnant. The gurgling tummy continues and a sort of popping sensation. When I compare to last month, I def feel very different. I don't trust my body though, so no doubt AF will arrive bang on time! Not testing yet, as don't want to see a BFN. x

@NoseringGirl eeeeeeek - you maybe ovulated later in your cycle than you think so that could maybe be why the line is so light?

@LittleTipple it’s annoying when you can’t trust what you feel - sorry your feeling crap but hopefully your BFP is on the way!

@NoseringGirl I'm sure lots of people have said that the lines on ic's never seem to get darker. I didn't even bother with them this month so I don't have any experience. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@LittleTipple I have my 🤞🏻 that they are pregnancy symptoms and not AF!

We are calling it quits for number 3. We are entering cycle 9 in about a week and nearly a year since I had coil removed. After both DC were conceived first cycle we have decided that it just isn't meant to be and I don't want to be stressing about it any longer. So I am wishing you all the very best and lots of baby dust. I will continue to check in for hopefully lots of bfps!

@LittleTipple good luck! Hope AF stays away! Very sensible not testing early.

@Megs87 I can understand not wanting to get consumed by the stress of it! All the best!

@Anyday88 I've had my most definite (still faint) line on an IC but they've been hit and miss. I find they don't darken as quickly as pregnancy progresses.

@UntilTheVeryEnd I chart temps and OPKs obsessively 😳 so I'm usually quite confident about ovulation but it could be off. Here's my chart. My LP is usually 10 days but am now 12DPO according to FF.

Welcome @HeartCurrent. I also conceived after one try with DC2, which was a huge shock as DC1 took a lot longer. Currently on 2nd cycle of trying for DC3. I'm definitely more impatient this time. I think it is because we have put a time frame on trying.

@Megs87 a hard but sensible decision. I believe in fate and if you feel the planets aren't aligning, there may well be a reason. Wishing you a happy life as a wonderful family of four.

@NoseringGirl I'd say that looks like clear ovulation, especially with the timing of you ewcm. Will be interesting to see what your temp does tomorrow.

AF arrived this morning, 2 days late. Explains why those very faint lines never got any darker 😢

So AF not actually arrived yet for me. CD 35 but tests negative. Had ewcm yesterday so who knows what’s going on. Going to temp next month so I can get a better idea

Oh sorry the witch got you @NoseringGirl. It's so hard to have the disappointment each month.

Why is it when we start TTC our cycles seem to go out of whack? Temping a good idea @Wingingit3211, just to check what's happening.

I'm also feeling a bit down today. After two days of feeling positive, I'm now having my very usual AF symptoms and don't feel pregnant at all. Think my body has tricked me again...

Hello all... quick tmi question, just had a 1 day withdrawl bleed following coil removal on Tuesday. Bleed was yesterday. Would you count that as CD 1 or just DTD and wait for next full period? I never had a period when coil was in so no clue where I am/ should be with my cycle.
Thoughts appreciated x
