Ahhh thanks all x delighted that boots & bare arse has brought a chuckle, he was all mock outrage when I shared the snow week sperm cooling escapade but think he's secretly quite proud of his mumsnet lore. He's back tonight, aiming for a slightly nicer end to surge day.

@maxiflump1 @serenaoverjoyed well this is fantastic, love some good news to round off the week! @maydot where are you at in the cycle? The longer we've been at it the lower the lows somehow, it only gets me now and again (between BFN and AF, usually) but it can be so miserable. Hope you have something nice planned for the weekend? @peachesarenom not pleased but so pleased you're feeling rough, hope you're out of the woods soon x

GSB ladies, GSB. (YES @zarala @knitkitty)

Lilimum4 · 31/05/2018 11:15

Feeling the same hun. Hugs hope tomorrow is a better day.

Lilimum4 · 31/05/2018 11:23

OK so this is defo a positive opk so why the hell have I gone off the boil. Think I've emotionally burnt out worrying about not ovulating due to the bloody cyst that now it might be happening and I'm not up for it. Why does this have to be so bloody hard. I'm not feeling good today. Just can't wait to get Mondays scan out of the way.

Congratulations to all the ladies with bfp I really wish you the best pregnancies.

Hello, Can I join? I had an mmc last week. Struggling atm feel devastated. But I am trying to keep positive. We want to ttc asap once bleeding stops. I just so want to be pregnant again and for it to be ok. Anyone had a bfp following mc or mmc? I do have 2 friends who has mc and mmc last year and both have babies now. This is giving me hope. I just hope we are lucky next time.

maxiflump1 · 31/05/2018 11:47

@Pancakes7 welcome to the group and sorry for your loss. I had a mmc on Valentine's Day and have this week got my BFP. You'll find lots of support on this group and fx you get your BFP soon!

Maydot · 31/05/2018 11:51

Thanks ladies!!... I just feel a little bit silly whinging and feeling sorry for myself when everyone is going through the same!
@maxiflump1 I was supposed to have my 16 wk midwife appointment on Tuesday, it’s just a reminder that it all went wrong.
@PassTheAfterEights I’m waiting for my first AF post MMC, it’s been 27 days so i’m hoping AF comes soon, I think I ovulated 11 days ago! I know it’s early days but patience isn’t my strong point, i’m driving myself crazy!!
Welcome to the group @Pancakes7 so sorry you’re going through this, MMC are so cruel. Lots of love xx

MrsGS76 · 31/05/2018 12:31

Big congrats @maxiflump1 !! So happy for you. Sends my you lots of love for your pregnancy xx

@PassTheAfterEights , I shared your hilarious 'bootie' story with my DH and warmed him the same thing will be expected from him from next weekend!

@Pancakes7 so sorry for your loss , following my MC last month, after 33ish days my period returned back to normal. I am in CD4 and feel more positive now that AF has returned (which is weird as I never thought I would feel this way about AF) However I am looking forward to the next few weeks of 'baby dancing' with DH!
At the moment I'm keeping myself busy with spring cleaning!!! Please take it easy over the next few weeks and time is really a healer!! Xxx

PassTheAfterEights · 31/05/2018 12:36

Oh @Maydot no wonder you're feeling low, you poor thing. It's really soon to be fully over what happened, first off give yourself a huuuge break. I think to a degree everyone on this thread struggles with patience so you're in good company. Try to think of it as a marathon, not a sprint, and plan lots of treats and pick me ups - it's the only way to get through it and stay sane. x

Welcome @pancakes7 and really sorry for your loss, hope you have plenty of support IRL and feel better asap, it's just horrible. Some of us here had good news again quickly, some still waiting but you'll find plenty of support and penguin smoosh here either way x

PassTheAfterEights · 31/05/2018 12:37

Hopefully your DH will feel in good virtual company @MrsGS76!!

MrsGS76 · 31/05/2018 13:11

@Maydot , so sorry you're feeling sad. I was feeling that way last week until my AF arrived on Monday 33ish days after MC , feeling positive now for the future. As I said to @Pancakes7 time is definitely a healer and there are good and bad days! Sending hugs to you xx

Pancakes7 · 31/05/2018 13:13

@maxiflump1 @Maydot @MrsGS76 & @PassTheAfterEights thank you for your support. I go back to work on Monday as I struggled when I tried to go in yesterday. GP signed me off for the rest of this week. The only thing keeping me going is the hope of a future baby. My husband has been amazing. So supportive. Also my SIL who is my best friend has been there for me. She went through this last year but now has a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations @maxiflump1 I am so happy for you.

RedRobin7 · 31/05/2018 13:17

Welcome @Pancakes7 so sorry for your loss. I had a MMC in March at 12 week scan, I bled for 3 weeks and have since had two periods. We are going to start TTC next week. I'm so scared of it all happening again but so desperate for a baby I just want to get on with it now. The positive stories on here at helping. @KnitKitty had her surgical management at the same time as me so for her to have a positive now it's giving me hope that maybe that'll be me in a few weeks time! You're also lucky to have the support of your SIL... mine is the only sibling from both sides not to contact me. She hasn't said a single word to me since I told her we'd seen the baby and heard the heartbeat at the 8 week scan 🙄 My husband told her the day we found out about the MMC but not a word from her!

@Maydot Don't feel silly! We all have bad days. I feel guilty for going on about it to people who don't understand but on this group you're free to say what you feel 😊

@MrsGS76 What date are you expecting to ovulate? Do you have regular cycles? Before I got pregnant my cycles were anywhere between 23-34 days (mostly around 25-30 but the odd early or late one occasionally!) I've had two periods since my miscarriage but only one cycle I can count which was 28 days. My app reckons I'll ovulate a week today but will start the OPKs tomorrow morning so I don't miss it.

I think I'm going to be distraught if we don't conceive in June on our first post MMC cycle but I know it doesn't always happen that easily.

Pancakes7 · 31/05/2018 13:18

@Maydot I know how you feel. It would have been my 12 week scan today. Find it so hard to accept what's happened.

Pancakes7 · 31/05/2018 13:21

A bit of my history. I stopped pill at the beginning of Feb. Had one period then feel pregnant with lmp 8th March. Then mmc last week. So I don't really know my cycles tbh. I am hoping my body will kick back into cycle quickly again and I get a bfp quickly.

LilacIris · 31/05/2018 13:56

Trying to catch up with everyone again. I’m sorry to those still struggling and congratulations on the BFPs.

@Pancakes7 I was still getting BFPs for more than five weeks after my mmc but I did go on to conceive DD1 after three cycles. After my last miscarriage, I conceived again in the cycle immediately following.

Martydog · 31/05/2018 14:23

Today was my due date for my first miscarriage so feeling rather melancholy. But trying to think positively last night I had what I thought were period pains but no af yet. I had a mmc 2 and a half weeks ago is there any chance they were ovulation pains. 🤞

Wellthisunexpected · 31/05/2018 14:32

Oh @martydog dates can be hard can't they.

Sounds positive for ovulation pain. Can happen that quickly.

Mistymeow · 31/05/2018 14:35

@Pancakes7 so sorry to hear that. You sound exactly like me. The only thing I'm clinging on to is the hope that I can get pregnant again. I don't think it will happen for myself straight away (DH has existing fertility issue) but judging that it didn't take you long to fall pregnant, I have a lot of hope for you :) Give yourself time to grieve, it does get easier. It's been 6 weeks now and I still get very sad, but I'm focusing on the future which is helping me x

@Martydog sorry to hear today is your due date. Have you been using opks? I didn't use opks after my miscarriage because I wasn't sure if they would be reliable so we dtd every other day once the bleeding had stopped. I honestly don't think I ovulated that month but I've had af and am starting again this month.

HidCat · 31/05/2018 15:11

Hope everyone is feeling a bit more positive this afternoon, we seem to have a few people struggling. Straight the middle of the huddle for you 🐧🐧

@Pancakes7 Im so sorry to hear of your MMC. I hope you're doing ok?

@Maydot milestones are always the hardest. I've found it easier since getting past the 20 week mark but I know that my due date is going to be tough to deal with.

@Martydog lots of penguin hugs for you. Hopefully ovulation will be a reasonably positive time for you. xxx

SerenaOverjoyed · 31/05/2018 15:25

True to form, I just started bleeding Sad

Maydot · 31/05/2018 15:31

Oh, lots of love to you @Martydog, definitely sounds like it could be ovulation pains to me!.. I had the same last week.
@MrsGS76 I’m sure I’ll be feeling much better when AF arrives, I just need to know everything’s back to normal.
@Pancakes7 look after yourself and don’t rush back to work before you’re ready. I really hope you get back to normal cycles quickly!!
You girls are fantastic!!... i’m So glad I tagged on to this thread!!! xx

hayleyfx · 31/05/2018 15:52

@SerenaOverjoyed oh no I’m so sorry hun!! I hope you’re okay. Sending you hugs ❤️
