DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

@Peanut1980 that's great news. I sincerely hope it's not necessary but at least the ball is rolling.

Just an update. I'm now in my TWW, but I didn't get my positive ovulation test until CD17, then nothing CD18, does this mean I ovulated CD18? I'm probably going to sound a bit daft, but I'm worried that if it takes a week or so to implant then I'll be on my period anyway and it could ruin my chances of it sticking 🤷🏼‍♀️ Or is this just my anxiety talking?? Been trying since September x

Sorry soda, it's not fair. I don't know anything about tests but hope you get some clarity and help with them
Hi pudding yes I think you would've ovulated Cd18 then, maybe your period will adjust and come later (bit hopefully no period!)
I am 10dpo today..tested and got bfn. Which I kind of expected as it's probably too early and it's a cheapie. Will test on Friday again, fx and tx haha

Hi pudding your luteal phase (from ovulation to period) is the one that should be a consistent length, so if you normally have a 14 day luteal phase then if you ovulate late your period shouldn't show up until 14 days after. Make sense?

I'm 9dpo today and got a blaring white bfn (snap ladybug!) but it's so bloody early 🙈

Aw @CatRen27 you are impatient like me! 9dpo would be very unlikely to see anything so you're very much still in the game!

Argh I think I will test everyday from now on but it's expensive! Even the cheapies for me....

In other news I had a little spotting today, which I haven't had since ttc #2.. I hate you jinx myself but i had implantation bleeding at 9dpo for my first pregnancy.. shiiit I'll be so disappointed if it's not our month! Boobs are sore but that appears to be a pre-af symptom so I'm ignoring that. Still 6 days before af is due so if this is her coming early I'll eat my hat 🤠

Thank you, that does make sense. Well if my ovulation day was CD18 then I'm only 5dpo, but AF due in 5 days on my standard cycle, so guess I'll just be on edge for the whole of next week 🙈😂 Was hoping I could surprise DH on Father's Day with a BFP.

Well ladies my period is now 10 days late - I'm on CD38! I'm going to wait till Friday to test again. Sick of the white strips! I've also come down with some sort of chest infection. I have a fever and feel rough as anything and am planning on spending the entire day in bed. I don't know when I last did that! Fortunately DH has the day off and has taken DS to the beach. I'm gutted to be missing out but also grateful that DS isn't getting the rum deal of being looked after by a poorly mummy!

I had a chest infection the first six weeks I was pregnant with DS but I don't think I can count that as a symptom 😂

TTC#2 also. Think I am CD11. Had some cramps but as my periods are getting back to normal...don't know what to think.

Ohh badbad that's awful poor you! Glad you can rest up today. This whole 10 days late malarkey must be pretty annoying for you. I really hope something happens soon! Who knows maybe a bacterial infection is the sign we've all been missing this whole time.. 😉

@pudding01 I’m almost exactly the same as you - I ovulated vv late (cd 23 I think!) following cp last month. Am now 6dpo and would be due in 4 days if af showed up at normal time - but my apps have all changed af date to another 9 days. I have been testing already - such an idiot!!! Obviously bfn. Off on holiday tomorrow so going to pack a lot of tampons / pads and a lot of pregnancy tests and hope for the best!!

Hi hisashiburi welcome to the thread! Have you been ttc long? Are you planning to test before af arrives (or doesn't hopefully!)?

@BadBadBeans my last one was 28 days, but the 3 before that varied between 29-32, but I think the 32 was a CP as I had a faint positive before and during the period. Thank you, really hoping she doesn't come at all!

Right so retested today and I’m now two days late however have had very light brown spotting (discharge) the test I took before seems to be darker than this one? Can you see a faint line again or am I just having hopeful wishing??

@catren27 hello! this is our first cycle. We were told it would be unlikely to conceive naturally with our first but it happened.

I'm so bad at testing early...can't tell you how many cheapies I've been through in the past but am.going to wait until the weekend. I've always had short cycles so hopefully get an answer either way then!

lookingforhelp eek i just don't know! I'm rubbish at reading the blue line tests. Keep trying and posting, fingers crossed!
