Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

TTC the first time round sent me a bit loopy and it wasn't too out of the ordinary. It took about 5 months and then I miscarried and then about the same again for my son.

Thanks CatRen I have told OH to lay off the baby talk for awhile. He was relieved that we'd gotten that far, I think. He may have been getting worried there may have been a problem with his swimmers..

I'm out of OPKs, and am not sure if it's worth getting them in again this month. I don't think the chemical has affected my cycle, but who's to know? I'm suffering terribly with hayfever, and am worried it will be more difficult to observe CM this cycle, so swaying towards stocking up again..

Please can anyone help me, tmi i know but i know you'll all understand. Normally i get 2 maybe 3 days of brown spotting/discharge before the flood arrives. Today is day 5 and its still the same, boobs are still very sore and swollen. I did a test a few days ago which was negative. My period last month was a bit different also. My question is, have any of you lovely ladies had something similar and if so did af finally arrive or what does this mean?

Havent had bfp in 6 years. Had HSG done. Tubes are clear. Supposed to improve chances 3 months afterwards. Onto 2nd cycle since having it.
DH SA referral waiting on apptm
Going to rigidly try SMEP as 4 days in a row last month didn't work obviously 🤔

@CatRen27 sorry things have been tough. How's the rash now?! Also, I LOVE Preggers Until Proven Otherwise. Gonna bank that one for use later as I imagine people might be a bit cautious about being excited if I get pregnant again following the mc.

Sorry for all those who had AF arrive. At least it means you can relax with a bit of something sparkly and alcofrolic in the summer evening... That's what I'm comforting myself with anyway!

@sodababy2 in a way it must be nice to be making the decision to crack on with IVF? Best of luck for this cycle though!

@mayago sorry to hear that things have been hard for you. Very difficult with DH piling the pressure on like that, however inadvertently. On the plus side, at least he's excited about the prospect of a second baby? I know there are a few people around the Conception boards (myself included on occasion!) whose partners are a little more circumpsect!

@Thissucks1 really sorry, I've never experienced anything like that. Hope you get an answer soon.

Last cycle was 14 days longer than usual so I am massively out of whack due to the mc, and not sure when AF is due, but if I go back to my usual 28 days it should be:
AF due 14th July

At the moment I'm veering between being okay with not being pregnant (can exercise! can drink! have at least 9 months to achieve a few things before having a newborn again!) and being massively achingly envious of pregnant people. Including my SIL, who is 8 weeks ahead of where I would have been if mine had been successful. I would be 20 weeks this week and I think I'm finding that a little tough. Not a lot tough, but it's definitely making me feel a bit wistful.

Thanks @Thissucks1 and BadBadBeans! Still very days but trying my best to think positive. @BadBadBeans I've just booked an early scan for 25th July, happy to send the pic from that by pm if you'd like assuming all is OK!

@BadBadBeans Im so sorry you're going through all that with having a miscarriage. I couldn't begin to imagine the heartache that brings. I'm heartbroken not conceiving 2nd time around and watching 4 close family members pg at minute with all the baby talk and shopping and baby showers 😥 I've reached the point I don't want to hear it all now because I just want to cry thinking when will I get there again 😢 And I feel like a right bi*tch thinking like that when I'm happy for them all too...

@Murphyrocks fab news that you've booked an early scan, and yay for potential scan pics :) Hope everything goes smoothly for you!

@Angelmiracle Thank you. I actually dealt okay with the miscarriage. Hanging around these conception / pregnancy boards for a while has taught me that pregnancy loss is awfully common. In fact, there was someone on the TTC #2 March BFP thread who got a BFP the same time as me and then miscarried around the same time too. So I know it just happens a lot and I don't feel broken by it. (Although next time I think I would get a scan at around 8 weeks just to see what was going on.)

BUT I am not made of stone and I am finding milestone weeks and other people being pregnant just harrrrrrd hard hard! Four close family members must be really tough for you. You're not a bitch, either. It's totally natural. After all, you're still happy for them... But you would just like a bit of that for yourself too! I get it!

Af due tomo testing tomo! Hoping for a bfp as been feeling sick last couple days/tired sore boobs, but just come off coil so really worried it might be a chemical pregnancy will post tomorrow morning

Ah yay @loveisland, do keep us updated! I've waited till I'm due in the past too but not sure I will be able to hold out this cycle.

So I'm on CD14 so theoretically should ovulate in the next couple of days, but only if my cycle goes back to normal length. Ov test this afternoon was medium strength. I'm home for the next few days and it is such a relief that I will be able to do the ovulation tests easily as a result. I'm testing at 3pm each day. If it gets any stronger i might do one at 8pm as well. Other than that I've decided to try and DTD (love the way my phone auto corrects that to STD by the way) every other day. Haven't let DH in on this plan but I'm sure he will be amenable!

Ladies tested tonight one clear blue BFP thanks for all the love and support on here, can't quite get my head around it actually happening

I've got to wait till August for either af or bfp. We'll be on 4 cycles in 9 months if af doesn't show up earlier.

@loveisland congratulations that's fantastic news!! How long have you been ttc#2 again?

@Mammyofasuperbaby thats frustrating. I skipped the month of Feb with no AF was mid March before it appeared - 2 days before my gyanacologist appointment ironically! They've settled to around 30ish days. Have you tried anything to shorten your cycles?x

@Angelmiracle I didn't realise I could do anything about it especially since my Dr told me that it's best for me to stay away from hormonal contraception. So I assumed that other hormones would have an equally bad reaction ect. E.g. it took a year to get over having the implant once it was removed. My body does as it pleases
