2ww for us and our Surrogate

Hi Ladies,

Anyone else bitten all their nails down during 2ww? We are 3dpt5dt (my sister is being our host surrogate - shes amazing I know Halo ) and im going through waves of optimism and despair! Shes much more laid back than me and Im finding it harder to distract myself even though Im not the one physically experiencing anything! Sad Our beta is 25th May but atm I feel like its impossible to make it until then!!!!! Would love to hear some positive stories!!

My background:

Me: 27 with MRKH
DH: 54 (2 children from previous marriage)
Transferred a 5 day Blast

Morning ladies!

Scan went great Grin (other than waiting 2 hours for appointment!). Baby is growing very well and has ticked all the boxes for 12 weeks! Here is one of our pics! (Baby has its hands over its face!!) xx

Thank you everyone! So pleased with the image! We were in there for a while as the little pickle had it a back to us but with a few gentle pokes and a bit of persuasion we got a good glimpse! 28 weeks to go! Xxxx

16 weeks on Weds! Its going so fast! We have a midwife appointment too so hopefully we can hear the heartbeat again!

What an amazing thing to be happening. Congratulations to you all. Your sister will have an amazing bond with her niece/nephew and you will get your much desired baby.

I had ivf and know the trauma of it. My little miracle is now 2 years old!

All went well yesterday! Quite a short appointment but the midwife is going to help with getting started on breastfeeding and we heard the baby's heartbeat which is just beyond amazing! Got to record so I could show DH :)

We had our 20 week scan (22 weeks today) and found out that our little girl is actually a little boy! What a surprise! He is perfectly healthy! :)
