Hi Ladies.

Anyone else on their first cycle and TTCing?! I'm seeing all these beautiful posts about ladies getting pregnant and how they have bonded with people on here soooo, thought I'd make one at the start on my journey!

Hi ladies sorry for silence! Life feels a little hard for me right now since I lost my sister earlier this year been having some bad days. Any how hubbys tests came back all normal! In fact the dr said he’s producing twice as much as average and all good swimmers! As you can imagine his head barely fitted though the door upon leaving the drs 😩
Still no preg but randomly been really on time with AF since all sorts of long cycles issues grief etc. Fingers crossed but dr is still willing to refer us on to a clinic.

Congrats on everyone with their BFP’s fingers crossed we will get some more on here!

Ps. @Delilah7 can completely relate to your situation. I bought my wedding forward when I knew my sister was terminally ill and didn’t have long she passed 12 weeks later. She was so desperate to be an auntie all I wanted was to tell her I was pregnant but it was never to be 💔 I try my hardest not to dwell on it xxxx

@Aims4 oh hun. I'm so sorry. My OH lost his dad last year and my nan. Just all abit tough. Keep your head high. She'd be proud of your pursuing xxx

Tested again today and still faint. Cramps still there but I am officially 'late' and that never happens...

@cookiewaffle Have you considered a clear blue digital test? They’re more sensitive so you may get a more accurate result. I used the boots line test and it came up negative. AF was a few days late so I thought did it and shelled out for a better one 5 days later and got my BFP.

Sounds like you’ve got a little seed brewing 😉

Hi @ErikaSt I've been doing a lot of reading up and pretty much the consensus is that FRER are better. I do have a clear blue but keeping hold for now until i see a bit more on the FRERs. I'm ok tho, I'm like 90% sure this is something now. I will try the clear blue maybe tomorrow or Monday.

I have recently come off the cerezette pill however it was something I wasn't taking very regularly anyway, and was only taking for about a month or two. How long roughly do cycles take to return properly? I've been on my "period" for 3 weeks nearly now 😩

Hi @MissSophieB397 I was also on cerazette, but for about 17 years! I was amazed how quickly my cycles became regular. I think the first couple were iffy but then it was fine. I came off six months before we wanted to ttc because I expected it to take a while but it didn’t take long.

@ErikaSt well that gives me some faith!

No idea what's going on currently my period seems never ending and I just don't feel myself. Hopefully it'll be more normal soon so I can track it, stuck in limbo currently it's rubbish but it's early days so not going to huff and puff !

Update from me. Its gone, AF started. I'm guessing this is what a CP is.

Hi All. 3rd cycle of ttc first baby. AF is 4 days late although I think I ovulated late this month. I have all the usual AF symptoms- sore boobs and cramps so keep thinking it is coming.

I took a test yesterday (first pic) but didn't really notice the very faint line until about 8 minutes which is past the recommended time. I took another one this morning and think there is a super faint line which came up in 3 minutes. Can anyone else see it or are my eyes deceiving me?

@Heebyjeeby99 welcome. When you're checking for ovulation, you're measuring for an increase in a hormone that's always there, so if you wait too long you'll get a false reading. With a pregnancy test, you're measuring for a hormone that you can only get after implantation, so in theory a false positive I'd impossible, however long you've waited. An "evap" has no colour in it -it'll just be grey. As your pics look pink, its looking good for you.
