Hi Ladies.

Anyone else on their first cycle and TTCing?! I'm seeing all these beautiful posts about ladies getting pregnant and how they have bonded with people on here soooo, thought I'd make one at the start on my journey!

Hi girls.
10 dpo today and symptoms so far are peeing a lot but I don't know if that's considered too early. I feel so sick and getting mild cramps, sore boobs. I also feel so warm all the time but this could be AF as I'm due AF on the 9th. So tempted to take a test so someone please stop me 😂

LuckyKitty13 · 04/06/2018 19:49

Good luck to everyone!
Have any of you been waiting to TTC for a while? I've always known I've wanted children but wanted to wait until DH and I had bought at house and gotten settled in our jobs etc. Feels like a long time coming.

CookieWaffle · 04/06/2018 20:35

@LuckyKitty13 Me! I've been so broody for 15 years, found a nice man, he was out of a job for a few years. Then last year he was OK for us to start trying after we planned a big holiday for this year. Now we're on 3rd month and it's so much harder than I thought it would be :(

Thank you! Stay strong @AmyLouise94! (Until you don't want to any more Wink)

I've been ready since my ex husband (BH?) told me he wanted a baby 10 years ago. (He then had one with someone else... a mercy in hindsight.)

DH wanted to travel first. So we've spent the last few of years doing that on and off. Got back 6 months ago, but we'd been to a lot of places with Zika, so we had to wait. So frustrating!

LuckyKitty13 · 04/06/2018 21:41

Wow @ChaosMoon and @CookieWaffle I've only been waiting 4 years - 10 and 15 years is unimaginable. Really hoping it happens quickly for you.

CookieWaffle · 04/06/2018 22:26

Thank you @LuckyKitty13! I made the stupid mistake of setting myself birthday deadlines and I've missed each one. I had 2 things i desperately wanted, and now i have the 1 (the lovely man) so I'm so grateful for that, I just really want the other.... If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen, I'm just glad I have the other half to keep me sane!

Delilah7 · 05/06/2018 07:24

Wish me luck, blood test later. Kind of nervous! x

@CookieWaffle a good man is a rare thing, hold onto him! I'm sure the other will happen - plenty of time yet

Thanks @LuckyKitty13, I'm 40 so I know the odds are stacked against me. Still I know plenty who had kids at my age!

Delilah7 · 05/06/2018 07:37

@CookieWaffle thanks cookie. Hopefully they'll be available in a few days time!!
You're 40 but thriving!! Keep faith lovely xx

@Delilah7
I'm feeling okay, it's only cycle one so I've got ages to test. Probably won't until I miss a period (if I get one as I've been in the pill). It is very exciting, and I'm trying to keep a hold of myself. I really want to research prams and baby stuff but not letting myself!

Delilah7 · 05/06/2018 07:59

@LuckyKitty13 I'm very much obsessed already 😂it's hard because coming off the pill symptoms can be so similar to Pregnancy which is why I'm so confused 😂

Good luck and baby dust @Delilah7! I hope you're not waiting too long for the results.

@CookieWaffle, I had a friend who thought she couldn't conceive and then did at 42. You still have time.

Delilah7 · 05/06/2018 08:10

@ChaosMoon thanks lovely. You ok? X

@Delilah7, I am thanks. The first week of the 2ww was horrible but talking to you guys had made me feel so much calmer and happier. I feel much more able to go with the flow, long may that last! Most symptoms have actually vanished, although that includes AF symptoms, which is odd. I guess I'll see what happens tomorrow morning! I hope the nerves aren't too bad. Not long now. Xxx

CookieWaffle · 05/06/2018 09:00

Thanks @ChaosMoon that's reassuring xx

Delilah7 · 05/06/2018 09:06

@ChaosMoon got all my fingers and toes crossed for you!! Xx

How did it go today @Delilah7?
I hope everyone's ok.

LuckyKitty13 · 05/06/2018 20:22

Thinking of you @Delilah7 hope it went okay today.

How's everyone else doing this evening?
Can I ask about how people's partners are handling this all? My DH is a bit disinterested, but he is a quiet man anyway - normal?

Delilah7 · 05/06/2018 20:32

@ChaosMoon @LuckyKitty13 thanks lovely. Very nervous. Get results tomorrow. Already know it'll be negative but just hoping...
my OH is the same very closed book anyways! Hope you're both ok xx
