Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

Hi all! Please can I join? Just started the 2ww!

AF due: 7th June
Cycle number 7
TTC number 1
32 years old

Had a mini breakdown last month when I realised we had been trying for 6 months! Good to luck to everyone Smile

HidCat · 25/05/2018 07:03

@buntingandstarcharts welcome to the bus. Not too long to wait never w though the TWW does seem to drag lol. I'm only 2DPO and already have he urge to POaS πŸ™ˆ

buntingandstarcharts · 25/05/2018 08:51

@HidCat I'm with you! Let's stick together x

Wishful30 · 25/05/2018 09:08

Hello ladies,

Age: 35
Months ttc: 11
AF due: 29th May
DPO: 9

Currently on the last cycle before IUI treatment. Low egg count, low hormones to 'ripen' eggs. Low volume sperm (but count is good) and a narrow cervix.
Had HSG 2weeks ago. (I've heard this can 'clear out' and help πŸ€”)

I've have 2 chemical pregnancies before.
Started cramping mildly yesterday.
Creamy CM (which has not happened before)
Very very mild pinkish colour this morning. So tiny I barely noticed.
Convinced I would not be pregnant this month due to difficulties and DH & I didn't really go all in this time.
Now I'm telling myself not to test, as even if it's positive it may just be another chemical.

We can only live in hope and keep our fingers crossed!

Baby dust to everyone!!

HidCat · 25/05/2018 09:26

@buntingandstarcharts sounds like a plan! My cramps seem to have passed now so may just have been mittelschmerz, hopefully confirmation that ovulation has happened! Just need to resist the pee sticks for another week....

@Wishful30 welcome to the bus. Keeping everything crossed for a successful last month or IUI for you.

rosesandponies · 25/05/2018 09:31

Hello - late to this thread but please may I join?

Age 31
TTC #1
Cycle 2

Currently waiting for AF to finish after a disappointing, but highly educational, first cycle!

buntingandstarcharts · 25/05/2018 10:20

@Wishful30 that sounds very stressful, you poor thing! Did you have any idea of any of those issues before you started trying? I'm finding 7 months of trying hard enough, 11 months must be harrrd!

Wishful30 · 25/05/2018 10:31

No idea. We only went private to get tested as hubby started stressing he had a problem. Typically it's me πŸ™„
Still, at least we know now so can start the long process to ivf but praying I'll get pregnant along the way!!

MrsMDD · 25/05/2018 10:33

Well at whopping 2 weeks late AF arrived on Wednesday. So disappointed as I've never been late before.

RedRobin7 · 25/05/2018 12:50

Hi ladies!
Can I join the bus please? AF is currently here so will be TTC in two weeks time.

Age: 29
TTC: #1
Cycle: #1 after a MMC at 12 weeks in March. Took 3 cycles to get pregnant the first time around. My cycle lengths vary between 23-34 days but I'm hoping my body may have reset after the MMC as I've so far had a 28 day cycle. Could be wishful thinking!

TheMagicTorch · 25/05/2018 15:39

Hi ladies Brew I'm jumping on as the May bus missed me - AF arrived Tuesday AM Sad

Age: 29
TTC: #1
Cycle: 3
Current cycle day: 4
AF/BFP due: roughly around 16th-18th June
Cycle one, first 'proper' one after coming off the pill was 25 days, then Cycle two 28 days so we'll see how this month goes.

Does everyone else take folic acid? My Colleague recommended it since we're "properly" trying, now we're back from holiday so have ordered some to start taking.

HidCat · 25/05/2018 15:54

@TheMagicTorch Hi and welcome! Yes, I think most people take folic acid or a preconception multivitamin as it helps prevent defects. I use the Seven Seas Trying for a Baby one. Good luck this month!

rosesandponies · 25/05/2018 16:51

@TheMagicTorch I take Pregnacare pre-conception and also a calcium/vitamin D/magnesium supplement. Does your other half take anything?
I've heard vitamin C and Zinc is good for the men!

RedRobin7 · 25/05/2018 17:44

@TheMagicTorch I'm also on the pregnacare conception ones and my husband is on the Wellman conception ones. He's only just started taking them since our MMC but I hope they'll help!

mostimproved · 25/05/2018 18:29

Hi all, I posted in the June bus originally as I’d had AF at the start of May, only to have it again now, so doubly out for May and back on this June bus.

Age 27, now cycle #2, and according to Ovia my AF or hopefully BFP is due 19th June. My natural cycle seems to only be 22-24 days which I’m worried is too short, but I have had one (unplanned) pregnancy so hoping I’m still in with a chance.

Does anyone else have short cycles? Periods off the pill are bad enough without having two a month sometimes Sad

JustLikeTheySaid · 25/05/2018 21:42

Be careful with the pregnacare tablets. They made my cycles crazy! I just take folic acid and vit d.

TheMagicTorch · 25/05/2018 22:24

Thanks ladies. I've bought the seven seas trying for a baby ones Grin Thanks for the advice xx

KnitKitty · 25/05/2018 23:19

I'm also taking pregnacare (hasn't affected my cycles as far as I can tell). I've heard some people feel sick on them too, but I've been fine; I think you just have to make sure to take with food and in the evening is better.

I also have a prescription for 5mg folic acid as I'm at higher risk for spina bifida as I have a very mild form of it myself. FYI you can't take too much folic acid - you just pee out the excess, so my GP tells me.

Anyone else in their TTW? How are you all doing?
I think I missed ovulation this month so feeling a bit bummed out and also wildly hopeful that I ovulated later than I thought and could still be in with a chance. Time will tell!

Wishful30 · 26/05/2018 06:36

@Knitkitty welcome Smile

Yes, tww for me. Af due Tuesday. Tho unlikely it'll be bfp as we are all set up for IUI.
Been getting very mild cramps on/off and had tiny bit of pinkish discharge Thursday.
Had 2 chemical pregnancies before, so not getting excited or testing until my clear blue monitor asks for it, and trying to stop myself symptom spotting too much.

Good luck x

RedRobin7 · 26/05/2018 06:52

I've been on pregnacare on and off for about two and a half years now. I meant to say I was on the pre-conception ones but I did swap to the conception ones Jan - March. They've not done anything to my cycles and I feel fine on them. I know some people can't take them due to constipation though!

I always take them immediately after my dinner as it does say not to have them on an empty stomach.

TheOneWithTheBaby · 26/05/2018 07:12

@JusLike, thank you for the pictures. That's definitely very obvious, so no chance to miss it!

I am just taking folic Acid at the moment. I heard about pregnacare influencing some people's cycles and as mine are so irregular anyway I didn't want to risk more disturbance

RanchoRelaxo · 26/05/2018 07:49

Morning everyone, happy bank holiday weekend! Hope you all have some time off work Smile
I think I am in the 2ww now, though haven't been very good at doing opks this month and haven't got a positive (some nearly though) so it's all a bit of a guessing game!

AJstylesHair · 26/05/2018 07:50

Can I hop on? Period is due on Tuesday but I'm out so next period is due on 26th June.

Cycle 3

clairehr · 26/05/2018 08:38

How's everyone doing? Very close to June now so I'm expecting we have some itchy POAS fingers!

In FW here and making the most of having the time off work!

I take pregnacare preconception too, I've had a few longer cycles (by a day or two), but dont think it's them, more likely stress for me. I have to have them with evening meal as instructed as otherwise I feel nauseous for about an hour. Nothing too severe, just frustrating.
