Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

We are on holiday and ive just driven round a load of supermarkets like some sort of crack whore looking for my fix... of brazil nuts and grapefruit juice.... Because I don't know if they make any impact but I will be damned if I give up now having started this month!! TTC is making me crazy.

clairehr · 28/05/2018 18:14

@KnitKitty I love this! We spoke about it before we started trying too. I really do think it's important!

So excited for those who will be testing soon! My BFP will be due the day of my best friend's wedding, dilemma and a half going on in my head with it all!

winterwarmers · 28/05/2018 20:25

Hoping on

Cycle 6
Cd7
Dd is 19 months

Got baby bombed today and it hurt a lot, friends text DH as apparently could tell I was fake being happy. I wS happy for them but it hurt a lot because they were not trying.

This month we are going to dtd every other day in hope that it works. I took part in the clear blue trial and nothing although did show I ovulate around 19 days

jaykaydee · 28/05/2018 21:00

@knitkitty

I was supposed to be 5th but opks put me a bit earlier this month so I'm now due second so Saturday. Trying to hold out until Friday though at the earliest.

TheOneWithTheBaby · 28/05/2018 21:07

I did another ovulation test tonight and it's the first time I can actuallly see a second d line properly. I hope this is a good sign and means I will ovulate this month! I hope it becomes darker every day now. Fingers crossed!

My next AF is due 13.06. I'll try to had out testingtill then but not sure how realistic that is πŸ˜‚

Wishful30 · 29/05/2018 07:34

*update
Any advice would be appreciated. Lost the plot now!

So, looks like I'm staying on the June bus.

Af due between Sunday and today. Pinkish brown discharge Sunday morning. Then on/off just a bit of brown.
Brown and cramps yesterday. Quite strong cramps last night.
Brown again today. Still mild cramps.

No actual blood. No need for pad.
Cramps come and go, and were oddly moving around yesterday. As in, one side or the other, not centrally like normal af.
I usually only get af cramps right before it starts and a day tops of the brown.

Clear blue advanced 'not pregnant'
Tho I can still see a faint line πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
Am I imaging this???

Accepting this is odd AF or another chemical and going to book for my trial IUI next week 😐
I may get a FRER just to be sure as they come up light pink quite nicely usually

Toot toot! June Bus!
clairehr · 29/05/2018 07:45

@Wishful30 This sounds exactly like what I experienced last cycle. I got a faint positive on the day period was due (had held off testing until then typically), then had small amount of spotting and cramping later that day. Next two days there was just the tiniest amount of brown discharge and then it all stopped, but tests then read negative. I believe mine was a chemical. Sending you positive vibes to help you through whatever the outcome is!

Delilah7 · 29/05/2018 07:52

Hi wondering if I can join. Love seeing all your messages as I'm very inexperienced with this.

First TTC, have had a withdrawal bleed but no period yet. Worried my ovulation dates have been wrong on my app due to just having that bleed and not an actual period! Still convinced somethings going on though. Have had clear but stringy CM ( sorry TMI! ) which I don't normally have, boobs are heavy, and trust me I have big boobs so I know difference haha, also weird taste in mouth. If I'm going from my withdrawal bleed I should have a period Friday if not Monday.

Any advice for me ladies? Feel I'm getting obsessed πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Wishful30 · 29/05/2018 07:54

@clairehr
Thanks. It's so annoying. Such a mind f**

I've had 2 definate chemicals.
I had implantation pain and spotting a good week before af was due with both.
I had cramps for a week with the first one, bad cramps, positive at 10dpo negative at 11dpo and then heavy af bang on time.
The second one I was super tired, felt nauseous for a couple of days. Had a faint positive at about 11dpo and again negative the next day. The af as normal.

Promised I wouldn't bother testing this time till af late, but my clearblue requested it Sunday.
Now all the weird brown for days. I didn't think I would get pregnant this time anyway. But why did it have to be especially odd πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ™„

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 09:48

WHY is the TWW SO bloody long?!! I swear it feels more like a month already πŸ™„

Spottyyellowdress · 29/05/2018 10:14

@dartmoor Argh I know it’s absolutely ridiculous! I’m only 4dpo...I don’t know how I’ll last!

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 10:18

@Spottyyellowdress I think I’m either 5 or 6 dpo have some ICs and FRERs arriving tomorrow or Thursday and I just know I won’t be able to resist the ICs!

HidCat · 29/05/2018 11:24

@DartmoorDoughnut and @Spottyyellowdress I'm with you! 5/6 dpo here, feels like it's dragging massively lol

TheOneWithTheBaby · 29/05/2018 15:31

@Wishful, sorry you're having such an uncertain time!

Sorry, I also wanted to ask about baby must haves in my post but then forgot.

We went to IKEA on Saturday (not sure whether the screaming babies made us more or less broody haha).
We thought for the beginning we'd need a side sleeper cot, but I read they only last 6 months. Then after that we looked at IKEA cots where you can take the from off so it becomes a toddler bed. They looked quite long so could a child stay in them a couple of years? Then we thought we'd need a wardrobe, a changing table and some sort of toy storage. Have we missed anything?
Our second bedroom isn't huge and has the built in wardrobe in it. It also currently has our desk there which we'd like to keep in there if possible, at least while the baby doesn't spend much time in there playing. Once they're bigger we could move that to the bedroom but it would be a tight squeeze so we'd rather wait while the baby doesn't care. Does that sound mean?

Also, have we missed any other furniture purchases? It felt like there wasn't actually that much, but I know the really expensive things are the car seat and stroller.

Please someone tell me I am not insane thinking about all of this while TTC!

My ovulation tests are becoming darker which is amazing. I do hope they turn positive this month.

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 15:40

You don’t need a changing table, just use the floor and a change mat, or the desk! From my experience they won’t sleep anywhere near a cot for the first few months - I make awful sleepers, why do I want to do this again so badly?! πŸ˜„ - but cots make a great baby holding area!

TheOneWithTheBaby · 29/05/2018 15:46

Love your use of baby holding area. My DH called it a cage... Grin

So no changing table? Interesting. I could do with a chest of drawers so could I just put a changing mat on top of that? That would give us space for clothes, more so than a separate table. When working as a nanny I always had a place to change them. Not sure i could bend down to sit on the floor ten times a day? Maybe I'm not fit enough Shock

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 15:48

I’m an idiot, I found an IC whilst tidying and couldn’t resist POAS Blush now I’m desperately trying to convince myself I can see a shadow of a line

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 15:49

@TheOneWithTheBaby totally individual choose obvs but we spend most of the time downstairs so just use a changing mat on the kitchen table!

Wishful30 · 29/05/2018 15:49

@TheOneWithTheBaby
I totally agree... whilst my baby doesn't know any different it will have what it needs.
I laugh and tell my husband that our parents will spoil it rotten so we won't need to buy it anything coz they'll spend all their money πŸ˜‚

I'd just be holding off on buying anything big until you've had that 12week scan.
Everything comes with a years warranty and new things are released all the time with updated safety features.
It's taken me a year to find out I will find it difficult to conceive let alone actually get pregnant.

Who'd have thought we spend all our younger years being super careful and doing everything to make sure we don't get pregnant, only to find out, it's really not that easy after all πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 15:53

Choose = choice!

TheOneWithTheBaby · 29/05/2018 15:58

Dartmoor and Wishful, thank you both!

Oh yeah we're not buying anything at all. We were just discussing what we'd need and we were in the store anyway. With my PCOS it could take forever to conceive so who knows what's to come. I just liked having a nosey about. We live in the south east and are lucky we could even buy a two bedroom flat-despite two professional wages. So a child would just have to make do with a smaller place. Not ideal but it won't change.

Dartmoor, immunity sure I can see anything but I'm on my phone soeno knows? How many days Post ovulation are you?

TheOneWithTheBaby · 29/05/2018 15:58

I'm not sure, not immunity...

HidCat · 29/05/2018 16:15

@TheOneWithTheBaby we used our pram as a Moses basket and the cot bed which DS used from the first night home and didn't grow out of until he was 4. Most people change babies on mats on the floor so only get a table if you have space, the chest of drawers is a great idea and you can buy ones with a lip on the top so baby doesn't slide off. It's very sensible thinking about it now as it's so expensive!

@DartmoorDoughnut try again in a day or two, you're not out yet!

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/05/2018 16:40

@TheOneWithTheBaby @HidCat no I know there’s nothing there really I’m just convincing myself I can see a shadow πŸ™„πŸ˜‚ I have no idea why but I feel v positive about it all though and am convinced I am, AF will be a major disappointment if she does turn up on the 8th!

Wishful30 · 29/05/2018 16:59

Right,
Got my FRER test for the morning.
Also got some cheap test strips too. Cannot begin to count what I've spent on opk's ang pg tests in a year 😳
