Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

@Owlpatrol I'm also on CD4 so my period will probably be due 21st or 22nd June but not 100% sure due to my periods being between 25-31 days in the last year but hoping my body reset itself after my miscarriage as my first cycle was 28 days! It's the ovulation day which changes for me and then my period is always two weeks after that. Maybe we can hold hands 😊

@JustLikeTheySaid The month I got pregnant I had my legs in the air for ages - I'm not convinced it helps but I'm willing to try anything. If I'm being honest then TTC for us isn't very romantic anyway so we just laugh about the whole legs in the air thing!

Owlpatrol · 27/05/2018 09:48

Hi all awwww thanks so much for your messages and support. No sadly we don't qualify for IVF on the nhs (due to dp having previous dc from a previous relationship) which was v v hard to come to terms with as you can imagine but yes we are on route for IVF however the nhs will only take is so far but then we'd have to go private anyway.

Thank you @JustLikeTheySaid yes I'm excited whatever journey we go down Smile as for the legs I do think it makes a difference for keeping it in but I don't think you need to do it everytime I agree so unromatic but then again my dp usually falls asleep anyway!

JustLikeTheySaid · 27/05/2018 10:33

It really isn't very romantic lol. I will continue with legs in the air for a while then. Not doing much harm except for how unattractive I must look!!

Wishful30 · 27/05/2018 10:46

@owlpatrol
No way 😱

Ok, I just signed a consent form and so did DH for out IUI + IVF
Can you go on your own and use 'donor sperm'
Only you can consent to use one particular sample. And he can consent to only letting you have it.

Also, I'd consider paying for a consult with the London women's clinic and ask them to write a letter to your GP to push for IVF.

Currently all of mine and his tests for IUI are about Β£1k
3 cycles of IUI is about Β£2k
It's not cheap, but worth a shot if you can find the funding.
Wishing you all the luck in the world, I feel your pain xxx

TheOneWithTheBaby · 27/05/2018 11:21

Oh @owl, that's so annoying about the NHS funding. I hope something works out for you!

Legs in the air-hadn't considered that! Might try it just to make myself feel more proactive!

Extremely faint second line on OPK today, but could just have been an illusion. I hope it wasn't and that it will become darker the next week or so.

I found myself looking at baby furniture earlier. Our flat is small but I think it would all fit!

KnitKitty · 27/05/2018 11:46

JustLikeTheySaid I do the legs/bum in the air thing because it makes me feel a bit like I'm doing something which might help. I did it back in Jan when I had my first BFP so trying again this time.

Owlpatrol sorry about you not getting NHS IVF, that sucks.

TheMagicTorch · 27/05/2018 12:08

rosesandponies I like the app so far, and the dating on it seems accurate. We're only on month 3 of trying as we were being quite casual about it before due to moving house and going to Florida in May but now we're in the new house and holiday done with we are all systems go! [Grin] if it doesn't happen this month might try a temperature one and opks.

Haven't tried the legs in the air after DTD yet although OH keeps jokingly suggesting it. Maybe I should start

Wishful30 · 27/05/2018 12:39

My legs/hips in the air theory....
tmi warning πŸ˜‚

Personally, I have found out I have a very narrow cervix and DH has low volume (otherwise ok)
So if not much is going in to begin with, and what's there is then struggling to actually get through... gravity and 'pedalling' is sure to help set it all off in the right direction and help place it all a bit better... Hmm

sailorcherrie · 27/05/2018 12:51

Hahaha @JustLikeTheySaid this had become a hot topic at work recently!

There are 3 of us newly married and TTC and the one who is now 14wks pregnant told us that her BFP was after trying pedalling in the air so now me and the other girl are in stitches saying we are trying it!

DH just thinks it's funny and worth a try so we have a wee 20 minute natter with my legs up the headboard 🀣

OP posts:
RedRobin7 · 27/05/2018 13:10

@Wishful30 @sailorcherrie Oh no, I need to pedal too? It's hard enough keeping my legs up lol! I'll give that a go this cycle πŸ˜‚

Wishful30 · 27/05/2018 17:13

Ok... so this has been bugging me all day!!

Info first: cd26 today. Cramps, light bleeding. Tired.
My cycles are 26-28days. I've had 2 chemical pregnancies but never had any implantation cramping this time round.
Nothing until now. Gone away again today.
Previously I knew the test would be positive. But cramped for a few days continuously, negative tests and then had af on time, as Normal.

Af arrived this morning. I'm not surprised. Anytime between now and Tuesday.
Stupid clear blue monitor asked for a pregnancy test this morning. Took it, negative... obviously. As I wasn't expecting to be pregnant this time.
But when I actually looked at it πŸ€”

Now I'm annoyed, as it's a mental screw up!

Am I pregnant? Is it another chemical and by Tuesday I'll have af properly? as she's not really properly here!
Is it light because the hormones aren't strong enough yet? Or is it light because I was pregnant and now I'm not.

Wow, this is all just tooooooi much!!!!

Can everyone see what I can see??

Toot toot! June Bus!
HidCat · 27/05/2018 17:18

@Wishful30 I can see it too. What a head fuck! Only option is to wait a couple of days and try again Im afraid. Hoping you're having implantation bleeding or something and not your period!

Wishful30 · 27/05/2018 17:20

@HidCat
Hoping for a small miracle! 🀞🏻
Will save us another 2k if I'm actually somehow pregnant πŸ˜‚

HidCat · 27/05/2018 17:27

In that case fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed!

KnitKitty · 27/05/2018 18:11

Wishful30 you say AF turned up today; what's the bleeding been like?

Some women do bleed when pregnant, but it could also be a chemical.

Will keep fingers crossed for you. xxx

buntingandstarcharts · 27/05/2018 19:10

Ladies.... month 7 of trying this month. Should I be worried? X

DartmoorDoughnut · 27/05/2018 19:12

It took me 3yrs plus a little bit to fall pregnant with our first, it was hell!

buntingandstarcharts · 27/05/2018 19:18

@DartmoorDoughnut sorry I haven't read the full thread... are you now pregnant? How did you survive that 3 year wait! My god. 7 months feels like FOREVER!

DartmoorDoughnut · 27/05/2018 19:30

@buntingandstarcharts I now have a 3yr old DS and an 18 month old DS but I’m being greedy and I’m after number 3 Blush Grin I’m not going to lie it was hell, lots of wine. Blood tests all fine it was just unexplained infertility

Wishful30 · 27/05/2018 20:33

@KnitKitty

Usual cramps and back ache. Quite pink this morning. As I would expect to start my period. Now a bit of brown.
This does sometimes happen before af.
Had implantation spotting and brown discharge twice before. But not at time af was due. Like 4-5 days before. So knew it was implantation.
Had nausea and super tiredness last time.
Time before was severe cramps for 5dsys before heavy af.

Really really hoping, but not convinced. Can only hope it goes away, but still getting on/off cramps different to the implantation pains I had before.
Who knows, maybe that's a good thing πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

clairehr · 27/05/2018 23:50

Laughing here at the pedalling theories, not heard that one before, tried it this afternoon along with pre seed, and had a whole carton of grapefruit juice. TTC has turned me a little loopy I think!

Owl - sorry that the NHS can't help you both with IVF! Good luck with the privates 😊 here's hoping that they won't be required anyway! We've discussed fostering or adopting should we not be successful TTC naturally as we wouldn't qualify for NHS help and can't afford private, exciting whichever of the ways parenthood happens 😊

KnitKitty · 28/05/2018 16:34

clairehr absolutely agree re: excitement over whichever way parenthood happens. My OH and I had discussed different options before even starting TTC because I have a complicated gynae history and wasn't sure I was fertile (and I guess no one ever is sure of that before they start trying!) Even though it looks like we can get pregnant naturally we are still considering adoption for future children.

Those who are due around 4th/5th June. When are you planning to POAS?
I bought FRERs today even though I think we missed the window this month and itching to test. Blush

HidCat · 28/05/2018 17:34

I've got some internet cheapies so will probably do one Thursday / Friday which will be 8/9 dpo as I'm itching already πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. Realistically there is no chance of a long be before Saturday though.

HidCat · 28/05/2018 17:35

Line, not long...

sailorcherrie · 28/05/2018 17:39

@KnitKitty

I'm waiting for BFP/AF on 5th of June!

DH is going away for a stag do on the 8th so I'm gunna try and hold out till the 7th if AF doesn't come.

DH has actually hidden the FRER's that we bought last cycle so I don't get obsessive about wanting to test 🀣 easier said than done when I work in Obstetrics!
