Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

CYCLE: 2 (properly trying)
AF/BFP DUE: 5th June

Right, my period is due today but nothing so far. I normally spot beforehand for about 3 days but had none of that and no cramping. I've tested and it's a negative.

Just got a feeling that his cycle might be a long one to get my hopes up!

Good luck @Wishful30! I used to go on a forum that had those ticker things at the bottom of your posts. One of the ones I had let you put in how many OPKs and HPTs you used a month and it would keep a running total of how much you spent. Mine was embarrassing

@Alex2790 I'm due 9th June too! Are you holding out to test until then? I'll have to test before as I'll be at a wedding that day so I'll either be avoiding alcohol or drowning myself in it!

My only advice for everyone is to stay positive, try not to drive yourself crazy and do not test early!!!
I've had 3 confirmed chemicals now. So I'm not even happy to see a bfp anymore.
Wish I ignored my advanced monitor now.
I'm going to get more tests for that, but I'm also going to get the throw away digital, smiley face ones as I can test twice a day again.
Gotta get it spot on now. Just fearing that IUI may well end in a chemical now too tho 😒

As I'm having a natural IUI I'm going to stay on the June bus as I feel there's a lot more positive support on here. Hope that's ok with you lot xx

🤞all the luck in the world for the IUI @wishful30 - in whatever way, it WILL happen. I have a friend who was told she and her husband would never conceive naturally after about 5 years of trying - 3 rounds of failed ivf later they adopted a little girl. Now, 3 years on, they’ve conceived naturally TWICE.

Human bodies are just insane. And unpredictable. So hold on in there!

It turns out I couldn't wait as I'd been symptom spotting like mad, but BFN so I've probably been PMT symptom spotting instead.

Could i habe some help with my OPK please? The line is quite dark now but I don't think it's quite positive yet, is that correct? Should I test again later today or wait till tomorrow? And when do we start the 'active' part of TTC?

Actively start now! Every other day is best.
Sperm survives approx 2days but upto 5days.
I was told not to bd every day as you actually don't give the sperm long enough to fully mature so the adult sperm count struggles if you bd too much 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would be testing twice a day now too. But as your test is almost the same colour now, I would imagine you will get your peak in the next day or so, so ovulate within the next three maybe?
That's how my body seems to work anyway, we're all different. 😊

@TheOneWithTheBaby I'd get started now! I'd also test again this afternoon as you might get a positive then. Saying that, I rarely get a properly positive LH test even when I end up ovulating. I think I drink too much water! Last month I had a temp rise the day after my OPK looked like yours does now.

@Wishful30 unless there's concern about low sperm counts, every day is fine if that's what you want to do!
