@BabynameEdie not sure we'll make it but let's see! DH thinks it's the best plan ever. Im also overdoing opks although prob not due to ovulate until next week but I don't want to miss it either!

@weasledee ooh exciting!! I'm just entering fw so bd'ing all over the shop and waiting for my ovulation!

@Boboelephant Mauritius is NOW lovely!! When we first got here our 5 star adult only all inclusive seemed to be a 4 star kid friendly all inclusive (but with so many restrictions) they didn't have our reservation, stuck us in a wheel chair room (complete with disabled loo and hand held shower that didn't reach higher than my waist) they refused to let us eat (dunno why people mess with pregnant hungry women) and we were stuck in their lobby with no drinks or food (since the flight which was 6 hours previously) I totally lost it!!! Since then they fed me (instantly I was happy - a delicious pizza) and found us the most lovely room and turned down the bed with rose petals and swans and offered us so many extras!!! So I'm now chilling in the garden sofa in the sun shine. OH is still asleep bless him (he had a few last night) reading a book in blissful peace and quite!! So I'd say after yesterday's drama.. today is perfect!! (Photos of the room haha)

Totally missing my puppy as well!! Haha he's grown so much in the two weeks we had him!! Bet he'll be twice as big once we're back!!

Wow this thread moves so quick. Just lurking at the moment as I'm trying to forget about the fact that I'm pregnant but with a non viable pregnancy of unknown location... Waiting for repeat bloods tomorrow to see what's happening.

@cakelaur omg your puppy is the cutest. Hotel looks lush, hope you're having a relaxing time! Whereabouts in Mauritius are you? We are thinking of booking a holiday there later this year.

@strawberrye we're in the North East part of the island. Staying at the Radisson Blu resort. Can't fault the service. They dealt with the mess up very well. The weather is lovely!! Defo worth booking. How are you getting on? Is there a chance when you go back for another scan, that baby is in the right place? And it could have just been a little early? X

Unfortunately I have not been offered a scan at all yet. I haven't even been referred to my epau, all of this is being managed by my GP with telephone advice from gynae. If my levels are increasing on tomorrows test I am going to ask again to be referred to epau and for a scan, as the uncertainty of it all and worry about suddenly becoming unwell with an ectopic is not good.

Morning all think I’m in the tww haven’t done any opks but my body defo feels like it’s ovulated!! Couldn’t dtd Friday & Saturday (away on hen do) but done 5 days straight Sunday-Thursday before & was back on it Sunday & last night 😁 @cakelaur Mauritius looks amazing I hope you enjoy your peace & quiet & your bum is better 🙈

@strawberrye that's awful that they won't scan! I'd call Epu direct and explain and say you're having cramps and things. They can't leave you hanging like this!! Especially if it is ectopic!

Of course AF arrived today a day early. Oh well, onto next cycle! New opks to test out and might join the marathon spirit!

I've not posted on here for a while as I haven't really anything to report. Just waiting for the first AF post-mc but I've been trying to catch up on what's been going on for everyone.

@L1zz13 glad to hear you finally got your negative test and are back on the ttc mission.
I thought AF was arriving yesterday as I had a little bit of pink after exercising but it faded away very quickly. Probably just post-mc weirdness (the medical term!) but a tiny bit of me is 'could that be ... implantation...' Honestly, the ttc mania strikes even in a month where we aren't really trying...!

ek78 Totally with you there. We're not "trying" this month either, but still over-thinking everything.

I had period pains two days ago for several hours so thought AF was arriving, but it's gone away again and no sign of period now. Any one else had this mid-cycle on their first cycle after MC?

@knitknitty could it be ovulation pains? I think some people on here have talked about having them for the first time post-mc?

@babynameedie thank you! We just flew over to Newcastle for a big catch up with friends...it was meant to be boozy so DH had to get all my drinks and pretend I was drinking G&T when it was really just the T! Hope you are keeping well. Good luck with your marathoning 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️🏊‍♀️

@strawberrye I am so sorry how long this is taking for you to get some answers! I would agree with cake and see if you can push to get to EPU and see if you can get a scan at the least. Really hope it’s a little growing bean in the right place 🤞
@cakelaur I can’t believe the size of your puppy already!!! He’s going to be a big boy! Hope you are enjoying Mauritius! We went there for our honeymoon although we stayed in the south west of the island Bel Ombré, such s beautiful island! Hope you are keeping well and your spotting has stopped.

@KnitKitty I've had period pains over the weekend and was expecting it to show mon / tues based on opks but nothing so far. Never really had period pains until now so this is new to me. Showing other symptoms including my newly noticed nosebleeds when AF is due (never put them together before but it fits and apparently does happen) so figure it shouldn't be long. I couldn't tell you where I would be in my cycle if it weren't for the opks though.

@cakelaur @claire138 Unfortunately my local EPAU doesn't accept self-referrals unless you have had recurrent miscarriage or previous ectopic, it has to be a healthcare professional referral. To be honest I've done a fair bit of reading on it and it doesn't sound like there is much point in scanning me - they only start to see things when the hCG levels are in 4 figures, and mine are only double figures! So I think that is the rationale behind just waiting for repeat bloods. I have done so well up until now with not POAS again but I have given into temptation this morning and an FRER is barely positive, much lighter than ones I took 10 days ago. So I'm expecting my blood hCG to have dropped and I think I'll start with cramps/bleeding soon. To be honest it sounds strange but I would be relieved for it to be an early miscarriage rather than an ectopic pregnancy.

Hi everyone, time for me to join in I think. I’ve been trying not to think about getting pregnant too much since an early miscarriage in March - but since I’m checking this thread most days I thought I might as well get involved.

I’ve already got an 18 month old and have been ttc for 6 cycles now (messed up by the miscarriage in March). Think I’m on a normal cycle again (for me) and 3 dpo - although I’ve been having really short luteal phases so just hoping to get to 10 dpo this month as a starter.

Hi all! Back on the thread after a difficult march/ April. We were back at the RMC just now, bloods and uterus scan all come back normal so it’s back on the TTC bus. I asked the dr to refer me for counselling though, i’ve been really struggling to cope with all this plus my boss has been at absolute cock and work has been massively stressful. Oh and we are having building work done too. DH is being really supportive but no-one can we really make it better. Starting the process when i’m feeling so sad and drained is not what I want. I hope folks are doing better and hugs all round!

@Claire138 I know. He's growing so fast!!! Mauritius is such a lovely place. Luckily the spotting has stopped and the sunshine and the swims are definitely making me feel great.
@strawberrye so sorry babe. Hopefully one way or another you'll get some answers. I don't know a huge amount about ectopic but from what the ladies say on here, defo an mc is the preferred option as weird as that is. Sending massive hugs.
