Thank you very much everyone for your kind welcome, support and replies. You've cemented what I sort of expected, that there is no right and wrong, and I will just see how I feel as time goes on.

lilimum4 hopefully the bfn is just a dodgy frer? It would be odd to have such a sudden hcg drop. I'd retest. Fx for you x

@Pearcrumble I’m sorry you’re finding today difficult, lots of love to you. It’s taken me 3 weeks to come to terms with my loss and I still have wobbly days.

And everyone, which opk do you all use? I’m not sure if I should try tracking my ovulation now or wait til after my first AF?

@Maydot from my experience check your hcg levels before you do anything. As your mmc was discovered at 12 weeks your hcg will most likely have been very close to its highest if not at its peak.
Any amount in hcg will affect opks and quite possibly your ovulation.

My mc happened by surprise April 15th. Naturally at 9 ish weeks. I had a blood test last week showing my hcg was at 35 still. Gp said it would have been very high to start with and is taking a little longer to reduce. I have had my 1st AF 5 wks after mc and am currently due my 2nd one. If I take a sensitive test it's still positive. I hoping Af with drain the last hcg out of me.

I had been doing opks but have since realised there was no LH surge and hcg has been affecting them all.

When I did use them I got them from Amazon. The 5 mm wise one are better than the 3mm and 2.5mm as they are easier to hold and read. About 30 for £6.

I will add temping might be a good start till you know about your hcg.
I've just started to do it properly, some of the lovely ladies here seem to be experts at it and have some very impressive charts to show for their efforts.

@Lilimum4 that’s strange, your line was nice and dark. With my chemical, my lines never got past being ‘very faint lines’ and then just disappeared altogether so perhaps it was a dodgy frer? I’m not sure but definitely keep testing and keep us updated. Sending lots of luck your way, fingers crossed it’s a sticky bean 🤞

Thank you @L1zz13 & @hayleyfx i’ve Never tried temping but I might give it a go.
I did a urine pregnancy test in A&E on the 5th and it was negative but I haven’t had any blood tests or seen my GP since.
Think i’ll give it all a go and see what happens!

@Cakelaur thanks. If (and a very hopeful if!) the witch shows up I'll try that cream next month.
@SerenaOverjoyed thankyou. I don't know really. My temps have gone down the last couple of days and stayed the same today so are just above coverline. But last month they were going up at this point and I still got af so who knows?? If I were you I'd buy the cheapie opks and use 2-3 a day. And not fmu!

Hello ladies!

How are you all? Sorry it's been a while (again!). i just wanted to pop by and give you an update as.... I got my BFP last night! It still hasn't sunk in! So excited and happy and also obviously nervous too.

@PumpkinPatch000 that's amazing news! Congratulations to you all the others with BFP. Also welcome to the newbies to the group but sorry for your losses.

I'm now totally fed up with trying to figure out my ovulation. 4 years ago when DS was conceived I was a late ovulater with positives on day 19. When I fell pregnant in December with the one I miscarriaged I ovulated on day 13. Last month I had positive opk on day 13 yet this month I'm already on day 15 and not a hint of a line! And DH is off on a stage do tomorrow until Monday so will be bloody typical that I get a positive on Saturday Agh!

And now I've just tipped my pot of wee all over the bathroom floor

Thanks so much @maxiflump1 sorry to hear you're fed up about the ovulation side of things. If it helps, mine were all over the place and I had 6 peaks this month (over 50 days) using clear blue digital (the last two were actually showing I was pregnant!). I feel your pain and know how horrible it is when you don't know what going on and cycles are all over the place. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, keep testing and it will show up at some point. x

Has anyone been to the recurrent miscarriage clinic? What do you ask you at first appointment and did they do any tests there and then? Did they test OH?

Congratulations pumpkin with you bfp. I'm looking at clear blue fertility monitor @cakelaur you have one don't you? Is it worth it to help pinpoint ovulation as Im just not sure im catching it, I'm due on today if Im on 28 day cycle which my MMC seems to have kicked me on but still getting stark white bfn not even a squinter to get hopes up !

@Lovewinemorethanhusband I have clear blue advanced fertility monitor. The one with the screen. You can get two. This one or just the fertility monitor. My one says low, high, peak and gets you to test for pregnancy. The other one gives your empty circle, flashing smiley face or static smiley face. I love mine cos it is smart, so learns your cycles and you can compare previous months. But if you have long cycles (I think over 45 days although don't quote me on this) you can't use it. But I got my bfp first time within on third month using and since mc it was third cycle (although first cycle it went a bit haywire so I reset it completely) I was using IC along side just to confirm. Cos you test in the morning with cbafm and then to satisfy my craving to pee on things I'd do IC in the afternoons and evenings. 🙈

weasledee I know zilch about rmc, but I'm interested to know too.

I feel pretty stupid. I used first response rapid response rather than a FRER, which are 100 miu sensitivity so I've basically had a two pointless £4 wees rather than testing. Between this and the opks I have demonstrated I know nothing about ttc, I feel like next I'll find out I've been dtd wrong too!!

@Lovewinemorethanhusband you'll love it. Well I did. And it's so easy to use. Each morning it tells you what to do. But defo pee in a pot and dip the stick in. I tried peeing on the stick and ended up getting invalid ones so having to retest. (I wasted a lot of money the first month)

I did a test this morning hoping for bfn but it’s still bfp how long after a mmc did people get bfn. I just want to start ttc as I just feel like I’m in limbo at the moment. I don’t think it helped someone who was 3 weeks ahead of me just posted their scan picture all over Facebook. I just want my sticky bean.

@weasledee yes me but when I had my first meeting I actually had my last bfp so they held off on a few tests to see what happened. They referred me for thyroid and any clotting issues as well as a scan and follicle count which have now all come back clear.

@martydog sorry you aren’t seeing more progress. I think mine have varied to get a bfn from about a week after the bleeding stopped to maybe 3 weeks.

@YellowDaffodils86 why do you think it's over for you hun?
I was going to test tomorrow if af didn't show but my temp dropped below coverline today. So that basically means I'm out doesn't it? 😫
@SerenaOverjoyed it's all a learning curve. You won't make that mistake again! As for dtd as long as you are actually doing it I think you're ok! 😆
@Martydog I got mine 2 weeks after the erpc. Hope you get yours soon.
