I only came to moan really. Ovulated two days ago with ovulation pains and now I feel like I'm getting an AF visit. I'm so bloody confused I don't think my body knows what its doing anymore. Has anybody else ever felt this.

@Laney79 how was your test today?

@PassTheAfterEights woohoo you're back!! It's slightly concerning how excited I am. According to ff I ovulated day 16 not 17 so I am 3dpo too. Still twinning!! And definitely Starbuck or Tarzana...

@Lilimum4 don't give up yet. It's too early to know anything yet. My symptoms have been wildly exacerbated since MC so immediately after ov I get sore breasts, back pain and painful legs. Fingers crossed for you.

@Boboelephant thanks for asking. I’m still checking in but not posting. I had a scan on Friday due to a little pink spotting. Little bean with a heart beat was seen - 6.1 (so 6.5 today) I haven’t had any spotting since yesterday. This is the farthest I have been, I lost the last 2 before 6 weeks so 🤷🏼‍♀️. Still nervous.

@hidcat I am with you the most painful af I have had since teenager and on day 6 finally getting a bit lighter and cramps subsided yesterday. Definitely feel like have had a big clear out!

@Cakelaur @Boboelephant @PassTheAfterEights @YellowDaffodils86 and anyone else trying to while away the tww (I know you're not @Cakelaur but you're the chart goddess 🙏).. because I have nothing better to do with my time while away on a mini break with DH, I've put all my last two months data into fertility friend to see if their charting makes more sense of my cycles than natural cycles app did... and FF thinks I ovulated 4th May which makes me 4dpo and also makes me super sad because we eased off a little 2-5th May as I had a huge event on 5th 😩😢any thoughts? Have I totally mucked this month up?

@babynameedie I'm no chart expert (understatement) but if you last bonked on the 2nd and ovulated on the 4th I think you have a v v good chance still. Glow always orders me hysterically to shag one day before ovulation is expected so in your case the swimmers would only be a day older - maybe half a day, depending on time of shag and time of egg release - and a huuuuge number of the initial 32 million live past two days. Thinking positive for you anyway!

Ironic that one of the things I said to my friend was not to pressure herself to feel any particular way or to put a timescale on things...if only I could take my own advice haha!

@PassTheAfterEights thank you. I am actually not feeling that bad - maybe calling in sick when I was meant to be working bank holiday weekend, and being able to spend the weekend with DH in the sunshine has helped. Mainly I am wanting to get on the TTC bus again, no idea when to expect AF this cycle. My BBT is not giving me any clues, its been up and down pretty much alternate days like a yoyo this cycle. MC must mess with BBT as well as everything else!

Thanks re chart feedback, feeling a bit despondent as was aiming for a full marathon no days missing but that Thursday (what turned out to be day before O) we were just too exhausted! Damn!! Hey ho. It'll only happen when it's meant to etc etc.. May Miracles needed!

@L1zz13 I REALLY hope it is a new one. What a rollercoaster! Hope you are doing ok.

So, my weird spotting is back. I did a HPT with a cheapie test at the weekend and ... BFN. I did intend to check with a better one later in the week (if no AF). Now the spotting has come back. This is the third time I've had a bit of pink on wiping - I don't know if its a coincidence but two of the times this has happened after doing exercise. The first two times it could have been implantation bleeding but I think this coming back now confirms it is not that. I've never had spotting in my life. It could just be the beginning of AF which would be good because then I could get on with it but it does seem to have stopped for now. Did anyone else have this after mc? My bleeding finished 3 weeks ago and I had a BFN within the week after.

I bet as soon as I press 'post' it just turns into a full blown AF!

To everyone else that was asking...thankyou! My test today was negative. Feel sad, but know it had to be that way. Ever onwards as they say.

Only brown spotting so far today-nurse said bleeding could go on another week or so, and that some women spot right the way until their first period post MC. She said if I'm still bleeding by the time I see the GP a week on Thursday to ask for medication-apparently they can give you pills that reset your system? As ever keen to avoid any more medical stuff/drugs...body has been through loads and I just want to get back to normal so we can try again.

Wondering if I should still do opks even though I'm still bleeding now I have a negative? If for nothing else than my tracker? What do you think?

Went back to work for the first time in 7 weeks today...weird, and emotional explaining where I've been.

I'm so grateful for these forums-it's comforting to be able to say how I feel and get advice from others who know what I'm going through-you are all awesome xxxx

Hi, I posted briefly in the last thread.

I had my miscarriage confirmed on the 16th April at 5 weeks and bleeding had started two days before on the 14th and carried on for another week. They did a pregnancy test at the hospital and it was already negative so I haven’t bothered to do another one. My body seems to be working ok so I am just waiting for my first period now although we have dtd in my fertile window according to Flo but that is with the dates of the mc as my last period 🤷🏼‍♀️
It’s so confusing I’m thinking I can expect my period anytime from Saturday 12th if everything has gone back to straight away.
How long did it take everyone else’s cycles to regulate?

It’s so nice to see some bfps on here to bring a little joy amongst the pain.

@laney79 Good to hear that things are starting to come to a close. It is strange to welcome a BFN but it does show that your body is repairing itself. I haven't tried to use opks after mc. I had read that they can be a bit all over the place first cycle so decided to hang on til after the first period but others may have found them useful...

Hi @anyday88 After my first mc I got AF after 35 days, taking date of mc as first date of period. My cycles were slightly odd lengths between 26 and 31 days before settling down after a few months. Like you I'm waiting for first AF post mc. I'm at about day 32. Hopefully it won't be too long for either of us.

Hi @Anyday88 welcome back and I'm glad to hear you feel your body is getting back to normal. I thought my cycle was 100% back to normal quite soon after my mc - AF arrived at same time it would have done if MC had been last AF but then that first full cycle was a lot longer than normal. I think I feel much more back to normal now, and am in tww on second cycle. But it really does vary and I think it's different for everyone.
I hope you continue to feel back in the zone with it all, and fingers crossed for more bfps! 🤞

@BabynameEdie It does look like you ovulated on the 4th. That was a big drop beforehand. I can't remember- when did you get a positive opk? And what was your other chart saying? I'd go with the temp and say 4dpp. And don't worry as you got o day, 2 days before which I've heard is the most important day and a few others before to help out. You've covered bases well and it only takes one.
@PassTheAfterEights sounds like Starbuck is defo the winner. 🤣 Don't worry about your ttc diet. I drank so much on the weekend that I've got heartburn! 😫 on am enforced detox now so it'll be a dry tww for me for the first time!
To everyone else I can't comment too much on the MM or natural MC as I had to have surgery. But I hope your bodies heal soon and you can move forward with ttc again.

Hey everyone. I jump on and off these boards but im cycle #3 trying to conceive #2 first baby stillborn. Had a first trimester mmc and a second trimester mmc. Hoping above all hopes next time works out!!!! Hope everyone is ok.

I get a bit confused, is a big temp drop pretty key before O? And then a rise straight away?

@BabynameEdie I'm not a huge expert as only been temping the last two months but I think ff is pretty good. From my understanding you don't have to have a dip but as soon as you get 3 temps over the past 6 that confirms ovulation. However apparently some people can have a really big dip which drops below pre-ovulation temps and then shoots up immediately. As this happened to you twice maybe you are one of them?

@Boboelephant yep, I had super faint lines then kept getting negatives. I'd given up but then the line finally went dark so it seems to have stuck! It was my first af since the mc. I'm cd34 and am 4+5wks.
