Bfp or evap help? (After taking MAP) pics

Hi all, OH and I decided to use the morning after pill last week as we hadn’t used a condom and the timing could definitely be more convenient for our 3rd. However if it did happen we would obviously be happy! Anyway... I’ve had odd symptoms all week that have just made me think I’m pregnant eg SUDDEN nausea and vomiting, heartburn all night, insomnia, bloating, back ache, super emotional. I poas earlier and am sure I can see the faintest line but just not convinced by it either way! I know they say “a line is a line” but if it’s SO very faint could it just be an evap line? The first pic was after about 5 mins and the second one after 10- there’s not much difference. I can still see it an hour later, probably even a bit clearer. What are your thoughts? Is it likely to be a bfp or could the map have messed my hormones up in some way and show on a test? Hmm x

Also around 11/12dpo now

I'd be doing another test hard to tell if it is a line (looks like its in right place) but also looks flooded/colour all over, could be an evap, and could be invalid because you've broken test open. Hope you get the result you want xx

I really don’t mind the outcome either way I just didn’t expect to be taking part in the waiting game after the m.a.p! We shall see...Confused

That’s an evap. Plus you’ve taken the test apart so it’s invalid anyway

Oh that’s interesting, thanks for doing that CaviarAndCigarettes! Due on weds but obvs the map can mess your period around a bit so even if it’s late I’ll be unsure until I do a digital I think lol.

I would say that’s a positive. Evaps really aren’t that common and only occur when the test is complelty dried out. If yours appeared within the 5-10 mins timeframe it is looking more likely to be a positive

I don't see anything, but I don't think you would get an accurate result only 1 week after sex? I think it needs to be 2 weeks to allow the egg to be fertilised and implanted (which is why ovulation is usually 2 weeks before AF is due)

I think it's more likely that the MAP has messed with your hormone balance.

It wasn’t a week after sex? I was 12dpo when I took the first test. Maybe 11dpo.

Yesss tested again this afternoon on a CBD and it said not pregnant so I guess I know for sure now rather than squinting at maybe lines! Smile

Obviously I don’t want to fuel the uncertainty but CH digitals don’t pick up low HCG they need a stronger amount to produce the “pregnant” result. I got my positive CB digi 4 days after a faint line test Shock

@Twinmumum took nearly ten days after my missed period for a cbd to work for me...
I was getting positives on frer from three days before
