Edie just tale a test. My last pregnancy, I had 2 days of bleeding before a positive test. Assumed I was out. Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage (which is why I'm here).

Hello. Can I join?

I'm 34 and we've decided to try for DC2 from next cycle - we have DS who is 2.5. In March I got pregnant very unexpectedly whilst on the pill, and it made us rethink our "one and done" philosophy, well mine, DH has always wanted 2!

So here I am. Currently awaiting AF since the MC.

Oh wow, just reading back! So many bfps - awesome Christmas babies! Really hoping they all stick for you.

We decided not to try this month (since the MC) as we don't want a new years baby again, DS is 1st Jan!

@BabynameEdie 😂🤔 well was it a period? Only two days long, which is fairly short.
The only way to really know is to take a test in a few days.

I'm now potentially 8DPO... though who knows as this is my first cycle after mc so it's guesswork really! so I'll be joining POAS friday of course I have zero patience so I also tested this morning (bfn obviously)

I’m struggling at the moment- I would have been 20 weeks this week and it’s, unexpectedly, hit me really hard plus a close friend has just announced she’s pregnant. So I’m just a bit of a teary mess 🙁

@rdm10 I hope you're ok and feeling a bit more positive this morning. I think pregnancy milestones are so hard after a loss, I was the same at what should have been 20wks and I'm sure others here were too. It will get easier.

This is such a lovely positive thread, I'm now going to move away from the miscarriage boards and stick around here. Had surgical management yesterday after a 12 week scan showed bad news. Should have been 13 weeks today, but it's not to be. Not TTC yet as I'm still bleeding everywhere me but it is on the horizon. Onwards and upwards.

@rdm10 it's so hard to hear of others being pregnant when you're actually really happy for them but can't help but feel sad for yourself. One of my best friends has a ds the same age as mine and is about to have her 12 week scan. We were excited to be pregnant together again and just never really thought this would happen. I'm so happy for her, but I know every milestone will sting due to the similarities. I'm just going to try and find other things to focus on and remember how lucky we are to have ds already.

Hi toaster, sorry you find yourself here. Sounds like you've had a hard few days..... I had something similar last year, bad news at 12 week scan and then baby passed away at 14 weeks... it's not easy but it does get better in time. Plus this is a great supportive group of ladies

@boboelephant- my ds is nearly 14🙈 & I was on my own for 12 years (ds’s dad never ever been around ) so although was desperate to have another dc I never met anyone to go through the amazing journey of having another bubs & I kinda excepted that I wouldn’t have anymore dc’s, that is until I met my wonderful dp (soon to be hubby in 7 weeks!!) and amazingly my dream to be a mummy again came a beautiful reality (dp has no dc’s) I have briefly mentioned before I do have other sort of medical issues from when I had dc but I was on the mirena coil only for 3 months came off of it in September 16 had af 6 weeks after coil (dp was away on holiday when af arrived) dp literally stepped off the plane & I got my bfp so that was my 1st mmc then 2nd mc in may 17 & 3rd mc july 17 so big age gap but my ds is sooooo desperate to have a little brother or sister he’s so good with kids, we are going to keep on trying till towards the end of this year as if nothing happens it will then have been a year & a half since my last mc so will then go back to doctors/specialists as I am 40 in early January 🙈

@Cakelaur I'm alright took another test and I swear I see another faint line again. My breasts are so so sore the, the only reason I'm inclined to believe it is because (like last time I was pregnant) I keep waking up through the night for no reason.
