Hi everyone. I'm a fairly new poster, I have only posted so far regarding miscarriage unfortunately. Basically I had a very early loss or chemical pregnancy in February. I was really devestated as we had been trying for so long and really thought it was our time. It was all over so quickly. Anyway...fast forward to now and I have had 3 BFPs! However. I am worried sick that they are not dark enough. My cycle varies a little between 28 and 32 days, today is day 28 and I have taken a test every day since Monday. I think they are BFPs anyway. They just seem so faint! I'm worried sick that I'm having another chemical, and my GP appointment isn't until next Wednesday. Any advice would be appreciated or just somebody to talk to. I'm 36 so not got much time left! Thank you.
The tests are in order, top one Monday, middle one Tuesday and the pink one is today. All taken afternoon time. (Lunch break!)

Please can anybody advise me?

They all look like great BFPs to me!!

TwittleBee · 11/04/2018 17:01

Yeah they are certainly decent looking BFPs! Flowers

ittooshallpass · 11/04/2018 17:02

BFP!! Smile

Congratulations! I am in no way an expert but just muddling through with some common sense! I would assume it is a good sign the 2nd clueblue test is stronger than the first. Levels of hcg vary woman to woman so just because they aren't the darkest lines yet doesn't mean your hcg isn't on the rise and going well. I think only time will tell. Maybe do another in a few days when your hcg should have doubled further and see if the line is darker then? And stick to the same brand in case it varies between testing product? I wish you all the best and hope this pregnancy works out for you x

letstryagainaaahhhh · 11/04/2018 17:08

Congratulations Thanks

Athers666 · 11/04/2018 17:25

Thank you so much for your replies. I'm just feeling so very doubtful and unhappy about the whole thing. I have no tests left now so I'm going to leave it a day or so before take another test as I am a nervous wreck. The lines on those three all did appear within seconds really but I don't know if that means anything or not. This is torture!

All tests look very clear to me Smile

Athers666 · 11/04/2018 18:39

Thanks Purple. I'm worried because they are meant to be early detection tests so I would be hoping for darker lines as I'm close to AF time. I think I'll have a day off from testing tomorrow and try again the day after maybe.

OP posts:
Stephisaur · 11/04/2018 18:46

I think you need to use first wee for them to give the best result, so maybe try that tomorrow? Great lines though, congratulations :) xx

Athers666 · 11/04/2018 18:50

Thanks Stephisaur! I'll try that. Tomorrow I'm going to force myself to have a day off from the testing but I'll get back on it on Friday first thing. I will update even if it's bad news.

Rachie1986 · 11/04/2018 18:54

Looks positive to me!
Definitely early morning wee, and even though they are faint, it is still potentially before your period, so perfectly reasonable I think

Athers666 · 11/04/2018 19:47

A few votes now for the first thing in the morning test! Will update.

My tests only got noticeably darker after 4 days - week of testing. Im no expert, but your lines look pretty good for the day AF was due. Congratulations

Athers666 · 12/04/2018 07:20

Ok so i said I wouldn't test until Friday but I couldn't resist of course. Was up all night worried and upset. Relieved to say I got this result with FMU.

Please can anybody advise me?

Last time the digitals never progressed beyond 1-2.

Ah brilliant! I super hope this is a sticky one for you! FX

Athers666 · 12/04/2018 08:37

Thank you TwittleBee! I'm still so so anxious but this has given me a glimmer of hope.

Ahhh congratulations!!

Stephisaur · 12/04/2018 08:47

Fantastic!

Athers666 · 12/04/2018 10:35

Thank you so much. The digital tests take a good few minutes, the line ones were instant, I was shaking so much waiting I almost passed out. It said 'pregant'but the weeks monitor didn't show until about a minute and a half later, it was so terrifying.

Hi ladies. I'm new n have no clue how to upload a picture. I'm getting very faint lines n going cross eyed with looking at em

Athers666 · 12/04/2018 13:03

Hi Caz, you can post a picture by clicking in the paperclip icon to the left of the Previews box and then select a file to upload.

RLOU88 · 12/04/2018 13:18

Hi Caz
If you are new you won’t be able to upload a picture for 48 hours I believe. X

Athers666 · 13/04/2018 19:35

Hey again. I'm still testing positive, got a stronger line on Clear Blue now, but, I'm so stressed out that I can barely function as I'm scared of another early loss. I don't have any symptoms at all, I feel like my normal self, no breast tendernes, feeling sick etc. The only thing I've noticed are really vivid dreams every night that are a little bit freaky. But this may not be pregnancy related at all? I'm so worried. We've had years of trying unsuccessfully so this is terrifying. I'd be about 4 weeks and maybe a few days now. Did anyone else have no symptoms at this stage, like, at all?!

OP posts:
loupelou7 · 13/04/2018 20:42

I'm so pleased that the line is stronger and all is going well. It's totally normal not to have symptoms at this stage! In fact some people have none their entire pregnancy! A friend of mine is a nurse, so you'd think she'd be quite body aware, she got to 4 months pregnant and had no idea! I am not surprised you are worrying, I would be too in your situation. Maybe see your Dr for some reassurance?
