Hi everyone. I'm a fairly new poster, I have only posted so far regarding miscarriage unfortunately. Basically I had a very early loss or chemical pregnancy in February. I was really devestated as we had been trying for so long and really thought it was our time. It was all over so quickly. Anyway...fast forward to now and I have had 3 BFPs! However. I am worried sick that they are not dark enough. My cycle varies a little between 28 and 32 days, today is day 28 and I have taken a test every day since Monday. I think they are BFPs anyway. They just seem so faint! I'm worried sick that I'm having another chemical, and my GP appointment isn't until next Wednesday. Any advice would be appreciated or just somebody to talk to. I'm 36 so not got much time left! Thank you.
The tests are in order, top one Monday, middle one Tuesday and the pink one is today. All taken afternoon time. (Lunch break!)

Please can anybody advise me?

Congratulations! They look strong to me :) Try to relax (easier said than done) and enjoy. Xx

Athers666 · 13/04/2018 21:07

Wow Loupelou that's reassuring!
And thanks Rokko, it's just so hard to not drive oneself crazy with worry. Never thought ttc would be so stressful! This is this evening's stronger line. I really must stop testing and wait until Wednesday for my GP appointment !

Please can anybody advise me?

I had none and rarely do now at 30weeks. Healthy baby boy. Some of us are just lucky x

Athers666 · 14/04/2018 06:55

Thanks RLOU88. Good to know x

I didnt have symptoms till 5 and a half weeks, they then disappeared at 8 weeks which was terrifying too (I'm now 23 weeks and being kicked as I write). Early pregnancy is such a stressful time, especially after a loss. It's easy to say and hard to do but I'd step away from the tests now, it causes so much additional stress. I have everything crossed for you

Athers666 · 14/04/2018 09:09

Thankyou Almostthere. All the best with your baby. I'll totally step away from the tests now, can't afford anymore now and they are just making me even more stressed anyway x

I'm about 4 weeks and 3 days too xx

Athers666 · 14/04/2018 15:49

Hey Lolli18! How are you doing? X

I was exactly the same as you. Tested all the time and panicked over the strength of lines. They varied all the time. I tested until I was so far on that the hook effect kicked in and even then I dipped the test in the toilet water just to be sure it really was the hook effect Blush that is when I stopped testing - I recommend you do it sooner than I did Grin

Ps he is now almost one years old

Athers666 · 14/04/2018 16:42

Thanks Bunty. Lok at dipping the test in the toilet water! Too funny. It's so hard not to become obsessed isn't it!

@Athers666 I'm fine thankyou scared to death but feeling positive about it, I just feel sick every now and again with lower back pain and sore boobs, hows you xx

Athers666 · 14/04/2018 20:46

@lolli18 I'm scared to death as well, just doesn't seem real. I still don't have any symptoms so I'm just a bag of nerves!

It's awful worrying isn't it! Every toilet trip is so scary thinking there's going to be blood hopefully as is well with us all ❤️

Athers666 · 14/04/2018 21:32

Yes agreed. I've been putting off using the loo as I'm worried I'll see blood like last time, it's just horrible. X

Bloody torture haha at least we are lucky to be pregnant again :) x

Athers666 · 15/04/2018 08:07

Yes agreed. We were ttc for around 2 years and really thought it wasn't going to happen for us.

Aw well it's lovely news, I was trying for nearly 5 years with a few miscarriages so I'm happy too SmileSmile

Athers666 · 08/08/2018 09:46

Thought I'd update my old thread. I'm now 21 weeks with a little boy and all is well so far! Happily in my case, having no symptoms/sickness was not an indication that something was wrong.

@Athers666 fantastic news congratulations

Elderflower78 · 08/08/2018 17:33

@athers I've just read your thread and just want to say congratulations. That's so lovely your having a little boy. Amazing.

I had a chemical and lost at 5 weeks last week we are devastated. You have given me hope that it will happen for us.
I will be anxious like yourself next time and already stressing about potentially stressing.
You so deserve this so make sure you enjoy every minute of being pregnant and a new mum xx

SoyDora · 08/08/2018 17:36

I’m on my third pregnancy and have never had a single symptom before 6-7 weeks! The level of HCG in your blood is still low at this stage and that’s what causes symptoms.

SoyDora · 08/08/2018 17:37

Ooh just read your update, glad to hear all is progressing well!
