Hi everyone, please can I join?

First off, congratulations to everyone getting good news and to everyone struggling.

I had a mmc in October, experienced bleeding until new year and now af hasn't come back so I feel in limbo. I've booked a doctors appointment next week. Currently struggling in the aftermath of a really insensitive preggo announcement this week so am really appreciating talking to those who have been through it all as well atm as opposed to those who 'understand' but obviously can't quite get it.

@Claire138 @strawberrye sorry to hear about bfns. I think I'll be joining you soon.. it's just so frustrating isn't it. I've no idea where I am in cycle so not sure when to test, what to symptom spot for etc! But pretty sure AF will arrive soon 😢

@Primrose16 gosh am so sorry to hear what you're going through. Perhaps it won't be the bad news you're expecting and my fingers & toes are crossed for you. It's so painful to go through all of this I know. You're not letting anyone down, everything you're feeling is natural. So glad you left work early, we all need to look after ourselves & be v kind to ourselves. Am so sorry. Sending love and luck for Friday's scan.

Am still in no-man's land but busy at work and moving house next weekend so hoping the next two weeks will fly by and I'll have regained a normal cycle by then...ever hopeful.. I just want to be pregnant (& it to stick) so so badly. It rules all my thinking 😏. One day, I hope 🤞

@ApplesTheHare Sorry to hear about your MMC. I can imagine how upsetting the insensitive pregnancy announcement was. I know most people don't mean any harm, but you would think they could be a bit more subtle or sensitive to what others are going through.

@Boboelephant I just read your post about what your consultant said to you. Awful! One thing they really seem to dislike is when you ask questions (even if they are well-informed and polite) and I could just picture him rolling his eyes when you questioned the best date to have your next blood test. Your question was perfectly valid and I don't see why he couldn't have just listened to you and explained things properly. Of course you want to have the test on the correct day, or there's no point! Anyway, good luck with getting things sorted and going for the tests.

@BabynameEdie and @PumpkinPatch000 hope you get answers either way soon. Limbo is the worst!
@Hope137 thankyou that's so kind. He was a douche. Can't remember if I said but he was 30 min late for appt, didn't apologise and then looked at a bunch of 5 folders on his desk and says 'who are you?' I thought you couldn't have taken 10 more seconds before i came in to know who was coming??!! He then read aloud my history with as much empathy as a lamp post and said 'so why are you here?' Agghhh!!

@Boboelephant OMG! That doctor sounds like the worst!!! WTH kind of behaviour is that?! Eugh
ERPC was fine, they're sending off the little bit of tissue that was remaining for testing so hopefully I will get some answers - but she said that there was only a small amount and might not be any tissue they can test- so she was definitely managing my expectations there...

@ApplesTheHare & @randomuntrainedcuntowner sorry you guys find yourself here! But you've found a great crew. Also @randomuntrainedcuntowner - your name 😂😂😂 cracked me up!

@HidCat I did a quick search for you and found this lady in Bristol who does home visits so might come see you in Wales! She describes the treatment really well on her website : www.earthmoonmala.com/services let me know if you go for it. I think I am going to go back for another session after Easter - it was really great and I much preferred it to acupuncture (which left me tired and drained after)

Thanks @Boboelephant. I was thinking I felt pretty much ok but it's starting to dawn on me that I'm almost certain I'm not pregnant, and I didn't realise how sad that would make me feel. Reminds me so much of the loss I felt (feel, I guess) after my mc. I know it's early days but I'm so impatient and just longing for that feeling of being pregnant. It felt so right and so good, before it all went tits up! 😂

Thanks @zarala. He was!!! I have to see him again in 8 weeks and DH has said we will get a babysitter so he can come too. He also threw out a 'is it the same man in your two losses?' comment! I'm glad it went ok and fingers crossed they can do some testing for you 🤞🤞

I have such a random question for any of you ladies who already have a child and who breastfed- how long did it take for the milk to stop? I stopped feeding her totally this last January but just now in shower I was having a little feel to check they were empty- coz looks like they've shrunk - and lo and behold a tiny bit of milk squeezed out!

LO was 14.5 months when I finally stopped. (We were only on nights)
My mum was convinced my breastfeeding was causing the MCs (because too taxing in the body)

Anyway - any experience with how long the milk should totally dry up?
And did anyone manage to get pregnant and stay pregnant while still breastfeeding?
(Always looking for a reason to blame myself for the losses - although I'd rather have a reason than just "bad luck" 🙄)

Omg @Primrose16 I'm so so sorry! My heart breaks for you!! Hopefully like others have said it's just a random bleed, bring on Friday and hopefully you can get a scan.

@Boboelephant I am indeed busy!! Haha DHs birthday today so we've been out celebrating, massive meltdown yesterday. Started out marathon sesh last night. Now on day 2 of at least 10!! Haha. Lots of booze and over indulging and mega fingers crossed for xmas babies.
