On the loony-ness....we are on cycle #3 TTC #1 and it's literally all I think about. DH has now resigned himself to me temping, doing OPKs, logging every single symptom I have and trying to explain smep. He couldn't understand the whole temping thing and told me to get rid of my thermometer...I told him I would shove it where it doesn't shine he has backed off now and leaves me be!

I feel that if I don't laugh I will cry and in the grand scheme of things we haven't been trying long at all!

Hi R7589! Its k we re all losing our minds with this ttc crap lol. I never understood the whole biological clock thing until recently ttc is like a secret world that no one understands until theyre in it. What cd are u on?

@R7589 hahaha. My OH is the same: just leaves me to it. He gets naked when he's told to!! 😂

@thisisouryrfx18 neither did I! Now all of a sudden there are babies everywhere! I haven't even discussed it with anyone outside the 2 of us as we have always kind of brushed people off when they ask as we have been together for 10 years!

I'm on CD3  AF showed her ugly head on Saturday but I have 25 day cycles so I don't have too long to wait.

@Cakelaur to be fair to my hubby - it's him that's like "right we need to do it this day that day etc" but he just doesn't get the temping and OPKs at all. He just things it will magically happen if we just dtd loads

R7589 we dont tell anyone in RL cause we didnt want the added pressure and we thought it was nice just for us to know and talk about it alone. We ve been ttc on and off for 2years now tho so im more than ready to share some happy news with our family and friends if it ever happens lol

I'm out for this month AF has turned up in all her glory. it's my 30th in April, and I am being made redundant from my job of 8 years on Friday so considering skipping a month so I can have a good night out and enjoy some none symptom spotting time!! Maybe who knows.

PMS on top of a BFN sucks.

@thisisouryrfx18 I totally agree with you, no need to for the added pressure from everyone else. Will just be nice to let family know. I've got my fingers crossed for you!

@rosieposies it's a lot to take in when your TTC aswell! Hopefully Friday won't be too stressful for you as I've been through it and it's hard to take. Hope you're ok.

@thisisouryrfx18 how are ya? I'm having a whale of a time over here. My chart is all over the place. I supposedly ovulated 15 days ago but no AF and no BFP so I'm losing my mind. I gave up on this cycle weeks ago and now it's dragging. The only hope I have is that my usual cycle length is about 26/27 days. I ovulated really early (although FF kept shift the date of O but now put it back to where it was in the beginning) I was supposed to get AF on Saturday making it a 23 day cycle. We're cd26 so hopeful AF will just show up on time irrelevant of when I ovulated. Bizarre. Not what I needed this month! Haha 🙈

@R7589 if I left it to my hubby he'd be asleep at 9pm every night and he'd forget we were ttc. I left it up to him one month and said nothing... we had sex once that month, at 4dpo!! Hahahhaha! He's up at 4.30am every morning so I can't blame him and we both work long hours so if we weren't ttc we'd prob only have sex once a week. Which isn't gonna cut it when ttc!! So I have to track which means that we at least DTD at the right time.

Hi cakelaur😊im still playing the waiting game aswell ma afs due 15th so tempted to buy a first response n test. God thats soo frustrating when afs late i think our bodys play tricks with us! Ur still in with a chance tho x

Defo no chance for me this month. 15dpo I've tested every day for a week. Plus my temps are too low. It's like AF just isn't going to show.

@cakelaur I don't know if this is TMI but I find that O brings on AF can't hurt either way!

@thisisouryrfx18 nah AF arrived on Saturday bang on time - seems to have a habit of doing that! So already starting to think towards this month! Let the OPKs and jumping on hubby commence! What about you?? 

@Cakelaur must be hard for you both working the long hours....we have to be crazy determined though eh? I honestly never knew until 3 months ago when we were serious about TTC how much you have to rely on dates etc. Obv I knew the basics but not about bbt etc!

I was the exact same just thought stop contraception and it would happen I didnt have a clue about cycles etc. I was talking to someone on here saying they should really educate girls about this..oh well how long are ur cycles normally? Cakelaur rosieposies is right everytime my periods overdue i have sex and a few hrs later I have af try it its too much of a coincidence😈Ive still managed to hold strong on the no poas this month think i ll try waiting until the wkend if af doesnt show up 1st fx

That being said cakelaur ive seen women on here who didnt get bfp until a fortnight overdue it happens🌹

The first month doing OPKs I felt ridiculous- had never even heard of them before! Since having the implant taken out last summer they have ranged between 23-26 days but it seems to have regulated at 25 days now. I was on contraception that long I can't even remember what they were before 
Is it log before you can test? I wouldn't have as much strength as you to hold out!

R7589 yh its very draining all consuming i dnt go a day without thinking about it😒im due af on the 15th i could test just now with a first response but theyr soo expensive and ive been down that route before obsessing poas first thing in the morning then i get the bfn and it ruins my day.Trying to wait it out until the weekend if af doesnt rear her ugly head, what do u think would u test just now?

@thisisouryrfx18 if your not thinking about it, your talking with the OH about it.....and then there is literally babies everywhere! 4 people in my office have had babies or their partner has in the past 8 weeks....we have 25 people in the office!
See if I had any obvious symptoms I would be testing...but only if they are obvious. Your right they are bloody expensive! I'm on the clear blue trial so I got loads of extra digital ones. But my hubby went mental at the price of the frers so we agreed to not test until there is something obv or I'm late. Fingers crossed for you Hun
