Tefiti oh no you silly thing! I can't talk though, I am 7dpo and I have been considering getting a FRER all day! I am almost convincing myself I am surely an early implanter (literally just sat and done all the dates with conceiving #1 LOL) MUST RESIST hahaha

Hi all, hope it's ok if I join in here too - definitely count myself as crazy enough for a wacky TTC group. I've also done the due date calculating for a baby that I haven't actually conceived yet. Also spent huge amounts of money on small bits of plasticy paper to urinate on for days on end, got a list of baby names in my head (this has to be jinxing it!), obsess over minor "symptoms" and inspect my CM at random times of the day in a show of minor insanity. I'm 34 this Thursday and on cycle 7 of TTC a first baby, and am going to have blood tests from GP this month because she agrees at my age it's ok to start investigating. We also tried the Stork device (meant to have similar success rates to IUI - but v expensive) last night with a great amount of giggling - dunno if others have tried - it's a cap in a condom which you then insert on something like a very long plastic stick... DTD with the plastic cap/ condomy thing was really odd, and trying to avoid all the sperm coming out of the little cap was bizarre - so yes, I'm equally crazy/ obsessed! ;-)
Will keep everything crossed that you all get BFPs ASAP!

If I fall next cycle my due date will be on my sister's birthday oops! But I am hoping I will be late so I can share my birthday with my DD (yes I am convinced I'm having a daughter! idiot!). And YES to the name list! I have drove my OH to insanity by saying we will soon be having baby Francesca hahah.
Never heard of the Stork though! Bet that was a laugh to use actually by sounds of it!

Re baby names I have two lists on my phone. 1 is a list of all the names I've ever considered since I knew I wanted kids with my OH. The other is a very small list of names that he actually agrees might be considered. As of about a year ago though he instigated a rule: no baby name game until there's actually something in there! 🤭

We've been on holiday for the past week together so we were hoping to have a BFP before we came home. When I got AF this morning we decided we would go to the pub all day which is what we have done! Real life starts again tomorrow on the plane 😬

@TwittleBee You're so right - due date calculators are really fun. Possibly because (even though it's all a bit advanced) whatever result you get from it sounds good! I dunno if i'd recommend the Stork though (tell you in a month!) because I really don't think I could have managed the long stick and all its buttons (he,he) without DH and his experience of man-gadgets! If you've got spare money and a partner who can mend/ open/ generally do things that involve fiddly bit though - might be worth a shot!

@Goldilocks sorry to here about AF - pub sounds great. Baby names wise - I have just the one list... but on that list I have about 20 "potential" children, each with first and middle names (sometimes two middle names!) and then I've subcategorised to include names for triplets that go together/ twins of different sexes and equally crazy other "options". Think I'm still in my fertile period so going to try to DTD tonight or tomorrow too (not least because if I did actually get pregnant this month I'd like there to have been a chance it wasn't because a plasticy rocket-like device! ;-))

@GoldilocksTheGraceless sorry to hear about AF - although you are joining us all in having Xmas/new year babies my OH started the baby names thing and keeps throwing random names at me. Last night he shouted me from the shower to tell me another name 🙈 I must be rubbing off on him!

Just want to put it out there that I started this morning (330am) feeling so gutted and now I'm laughing really hard at these messages. You are wonderful people!

Omg I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a baby name list! I've posted on March bus this but had a wave of sickness today at the smell of burnt food someone had at lunch so trying not to get excited however I feel I'm out. 9 ish days till af due!

I have been having mild cramps since yesterday and had my first migraine in over a year today obviously these are both signs of impending bfp rather than af af is due Friday but based on last month may be here Wednesday.
I have never heard of the stork either though does sound like fun.

Blondcat we are both due friday! So hope AF doesn't show for us! I'm gonna do a test I decided on Thursday.

I was unconvinced I was pregnant (after being convinced) but I am now reconvinced that I am. I'm just so emotional, boobs so sore and I've been getting headaches and cramps! Plus the creamy cm.

@twittleBee af buddies. I am going to wait until I am late as totally convinced I am not and don't want the disappointment of a bfn.

I feel like I have no self-restraint at all! Have been known to use 2 pregnancy tests on one wee sample many days before AF is due "just in case one of them is faulty".

Maybe I should report back in a few weeks before anyone goes out and spends 99 pounds on a Stork because I've mentioned it!

(Having said that, DH is going to buy me another one today as they're single use and this is my last fertile day I think - it's going to be my birthday present - 34 on Thursday! This is probably TMI but we are going to try filling the concepticle manually because having sex with a big plastic thingy on the end was just a bit too weird. Not sure if this is going to work...)
