Sorry to interrupt the wedding fun 😬 but I just checked my FF after putting in my temp for the last two days (tested yesterday but forgot to input data) and now it's saying that my O day was on Tuesday. Which is very problematic because we were worn out after SMEP and took a few days off...
I have also inputted data such as position of cervix and cm which both indicate that I Od on Sunday (cd14) but the bbt data has overridden everything else.
My question is, do we think that FF has a rudimentary algorithm that is always overridden by BBT, or is bbt basically the only thing to really rely on?
Gagh so confusing!!

@Goldilocks i would say bbt is most accurate thing to go by but thats just my personal opinion @Twittlebee congrats thats great uve got sumthin else to look forward to ur goin to b soo busy lol👰

@Goldilocks i just try to have sex every 2nd day throughout the mnth now i know its hard goin n not always possible but i concentrate on half way through the cycle especially, i think our ovaries try to play games with us half of the time 😠lol

GoldilocksTheGraceless yeah I think BBT might be overriding everything else, but I suppose it depends if your temp readings have been accurate too? Like same time every day and minimum 3 hours sleep.

We have dtd all week except Monday going to dtd tonight and tomorrow and Sunday. I'm lying up for half an hour after , drinking grapefruit on the daily, taking my vits, anything else that helps? Lol

Found out that the yams thing is quite confusing. In the USA yams are what we generally call Sweet Potatoes (red skin, orange flesh) but a yam is actually a different root tuberous vegetable that's paler in colour and grows in more tropical climate apparently. Going with our standard Sweet Potatoes though as that seems to be what the advice is referring too (plus, they're yummy).

@HidCat how do u cook ur sweet potato i tried doin mine like a baked potato n it was disgusting soo stringy lol😝

@TwittleBee yay ov twins! Hmmmm not sure when to test as this bit confuses me. I ovulated three days earlier than usual SO does that mean my predicted af date is moved forward too? Or does it stay same. If the luteal phase is supposed to be the most consistent section of cycle . My brains going to explode . I was lying up with pillow under bum revising my pharmacology notes for exam on Monday . Starkers with my glasses on and laptop .... so romantic 😂. Whilst dh went and got the Chinese . I lay for about half an hour lol is that enough??

I also second what someone said below sweet potato is vile . I remember after my second dc When i dieted to shift the baby weight I ate so many damn sweet potatoes if some one placed one in front of me now I would launch it back at them 😷😷😷

lolacola13 no I love sweet potato!!! It's the best, I happily shove it with any meal haha. And yes luteal phase stays the same so AF moves forward. I'm gonna test 10dpo I reckon (if i don't break and test at 9dpo!)

I wish I could like them I really do cow they're so healthy better than chips etc but I just shiver when I think of them 😂. I had it in my head from last cycle I'm not testing til 14dpo blah blah blah.but I know deep down I'll be ripping open the cheapies and bankrupting myself on frer s by the end of next week...bit of a personal question but how many times dtd is enough between the peak at 11am today and the window ending . ? We dtd every day from wed til now should I do it agin before work tomorrow 🙈

@TwittleBee amazing... congratulations! I'd love to get married that way. My other half wants everyone there. And we were gonna run away to Aruba (I LOVE flamingos) and invite a few people but it's now a zika risk, and both his sis and my sis will be TTC towards the end of the year. So we've just postponed any thoughts of weddings! Hahahah...
