My FW starts from tomorrow, I will be CD10, cycle 3 and will be DTD as much as poss (Taking into account our house is fecking cold and all I want to do is put my onesie and fluffy socks on and watch Marcella on catch up).

Haven't been temping this month but will do my first OPK tonight... I haven't been doing them since my period finished but hoping I will catch my LH surge anyway. Has everyone been doing their OPK's since the last day of their period?

How does everyone feel about having a November baby?

hey @kaytees - I may have this wrong, but is CD23 quite late to ovulate? Do you have a longiosh cycle?

I had results like these until completely out of the blue one Monday afternoon I had my first positive OPK - it was gone by about 6pm that evening, which is when I would have been testing should I have been at work, so basically I don't think I would have caught it had I not have taken that day off. (I hope I'm making sense Confused) I find OPK's so bloody frustrating.

Hey @rosieposies nope you aren't wrong - it's very late! My luteal phase is too short at the moment so I'm having hormonal bloods (can't remember if I said that on here or another board) to assess if there's other issues at play.

So your OPK just appeared all of a sudden?! Right, I'm going to have to start taking my pee cup out and about to make sure I don't miss it!

rosieposies · 08/03/2018 15:04

Ahh ok @kaytees, I think I may have also mentioned it before but have you heard about Vitamin b6 helping with lengthening luteal phase? (I'm always harping on about it as it's supposed to be good for fending off morning sickness as well) When are you having the bloods taken? Flowers

Yeah it was really weird, they did get a little bit darker but nothing dramatic, and then all of a sudden it was positive. I think a transportable pee cup is a must. Gross but necessary. Are you taking your BBT? That might help you understand what's going on?

I dont want to worry you kaytees but have you had a blood test to make sure your ovulating im no doctor but im pretty sure you need a test line darker than the control line for an opk to be positive?Confused

thisisouryrfx18 · 08/03/2018 15:12

rosieposies is right bring the pee cup with you everywhere and test twice a day im gonna start doing the same

kaytees · 08/03/2018 15:18

Thanks to you both @rosieposies @thisisouryrfx18 ! Second lot of bloods taken tomorrow to check I've ovulated (don't think I have) which will establish if the LP is as short as I think (28/29 day cycle so it's pretty short). In the meantime I shall carry my pee cup and tests around.. might be time to put my nicer handbags away I suppose!

kaytees · 08/03/2018 15:19

Oh and yes am taking BBT - been using natural cycles for 8 months so that's the first thing I do every morning! I have ovulated last 2 months I think as have gotten a line that's as dark / darker than control line, but this month it doesn't seem to be getting dark at all.

thisisouryrfx18 · 08/03/2018 15:41

Thats alrite gd luck with tests kaytees! A was just thinking the exact same goodbye cute little bags lol

Karigan1 · 08/03/2018 17:43

Hey I too keep hearing that vitamin b complex can extend luteal stage. Not tried it myself as my problem is with early ovulation and the actual luteal stage is on average 15 days but heard a lot about it.

Just had my bloods done. I think they are fine from what I’ve learnt on here but dr appt is in a week.

thisisouryrfx18 · 08/03/2018 18:56

Good luck to u aswell then karigan1 what cd r u on?

rosieposies · 08/03/2018 19:33

haha @kaytees, you should use it as an excuse to by yourself a new make up bag and use your old one as your pee cup bag. Good luck for tomorrow! Hope you don't have to wait ages for the results. Let us know how you get on.

rosieposies · 09/03/2018 13:38

@karigan BFN today for me at 10dpo, pretty sure I'm out.

thisisouryrfx18 · 09/03/2018 13:43

Its soo frustrating isnt it rosieposies! im bout 8dpo (i think not 100% positive i was too busy to poas everyday) keep gettin cramps in my stomach on n off but afs not due until 15th

thisisouryrfx18 · 09/03/2018 13:44

Have u been using first response tests?

PassTheAfterEights · 09/03/2018 14:00

Hey @rosiesposies so far been on the tubs of freshly prepared stuff on offer in Marks i'm not usually a plastic generating minimal food prep kinda gal, honest, they're just nearest 'bout half a tub each time = 1 cup.

No idea what the advised quantity is - probably 36 pineapples required to maybe make the smallest difference, if it's even true!? Makes me feel like I'm doing something though while in torturous 2ww!

Said in best M&S advert lady's voice, it's not just pineapple...

How's the back?

Karigan1 · 09/03/2018 14:03

Sorry to hear about the negative but like someone said to me a few posts back ‘you aren’t out until you see red blood’.

rosieposies · 09/03/2018 17:07

@thisisouryr Yeah they're frers from Amazon, called Ovaview, £5.99 for 6!! I'm not sure if that necessarily makes them good though, I just can't spend a tenner on 2 pieces of plastic that I wee on Grin. My boobs are killing me today!

@pass no judgement here, I wouldn't have a single clue where to start with an actual pineapple. I've just done some thorough research googling and pineapple is basically a magical fruit. Texting OH right now to tell him to bring some home.

natural-fertility-info.com/bromelain-pineapple-for-implantation.html

The back is pretty painful but got some time off work. I found myself watching Jeremy Kyle yesterday in my codeine induced stupor which is worrying.

@Karigan I really hope so! Any clearer signs of the witch yet? Have you got wine and chocolate stashed away just in case?

Karigan1 · 09/03/2018 17:30

No frustratingly just spotting still. It’s getting annoying now lol.

thisisouryrfx18 · 09/03/2018 18:05

Karigan1 spotting still not af ur still in with a chance

peaches1991 · 09/03/2018 22:47

Think I'm 9dpo although not 100% convinced I ovulated this month...we'll see! AF due Sunday. Going to try and hold off POAS.I have the same ones as you @rosieposies

kaytees · 10/03/2018 10:36

Hi everyone- thanks for the reminders about b6 and pineapple, I shall get myself to the supermarket ASAP! Had second round of bloods yest and the results from the first seem to say progesterone is already low which fits with short luteal Confused but on the plus side I finally gave a positive OPK - just to double check though, would you call this positive?

Anyone else about to begin their FW or coming up to it soon?
thisisouryrfx18 · 10/03/2018 11:03

Woohoo looks positive to me sorry if ive already asked im on a couple of threads but have u asked them about progesterone cream ive heard u can buy it online.
