Anyone else about to begin their FW or coming up to it soon?

My FW starts from tomorrow, I will be CD10, cycle 3 and will be DTD as much as poss (Taking into account our house is fecking cold and all I want to do is put my onesie and fluffy socks on and watch Marcella on catch up).

Haven't been temping this month but will do my first OPK tonight... I haven't been doing them since my period finished but hoping I will catch my LH surge anyway. Has everyone been doing their OPK's since the last day of their period?

How does everyone feel about having a November baby?

@rosie mine are exactly the same, I'm taking them as negative as the amazon reviews said a positive is only when its as strong or stronger than the test line. No idea about whether we've missed OV, it's my first month doing them too. I have a pee cup too, it's so gross but necessary!

is it possible to ovulate earlier one month because normally i don't have any line to my opks until at least cd 15 but i am cycle day 8 and a faint line has started to appear

i am aware that it has to be as dark or darker to be positive but normally i have nothing at this stage

@peaches ahh ok then, I've heard that a surge can sometimes only last 4 hours and can be missed so possibly. I guess the important thing is that we're DTD around this time. Confusing thought right, all these bloody sticks that need peeing on and deciphering

@winter I don't think the cycle day ovulation occurs on is necessarily the same every month, there will defo be some fluctuation, but I don't really know that much about OPK's and why it would start with a faint line that early. I think keep testing and see what happens!

peaches1991 Yh way too xpensive lol i dunno if its cause i drank a lot of water that day trying to help cm and it seems to have helped..lovely. I think its suppose to show two lines on the opks if its 1line its a void test if ur ovulating the test line is darker than the control use doc google to double check. Lmao ive got a pee cup aswell! We need to rename this thread desperate women pee in cups haha

@winterwarmers I'm so pleased to read someone else doesn't get anything on their opks until later in their cycle - I've been testing 2/3 times a day (glamorous I know) and nothing, then I just tested and I've a faint second line on CD10! Has your line gotten darker over the following days?

Kaytees dnt wanna b a know it all but r u waitin 4hrs between peeing on opk cause that might b why ur gettin void tests

@kaytees normally my positive opk comes on cd 18 with temp rise in the morning of cd19. i have a 29 day cycle too

@winterwarmers yeah, I tend to have similar - positive opk day 20 and temp rise day 21/22. I wonder why our tests are showing a faint line earlier this month?

@thisisouryrfx18 hello again! Yeah I tend to test 6/7am then 4/5 pm and in middle of day / late at night depending on what I'm doing, so leaving as much time as I can in between!

I have not a clue so I'm dtd every other day

Anyone use ovulation calculators without temping?was looking at them the other day out of curiousity seem useless one tells me 3wks before af is fertile wk and the other says 2wks before af is due is fertile wk..oh well back to shagging everyday then

definitely not testing :( don’t think there is any prospect with early ovulation so not going to waste the money. Fingers crossed for you ladies however

@karigan why does early ovulation affect chances of getting preg??

I started to see lines on my tests on CD14 and then got my positive on CD16, I'm now CD18. We've been DTD every other day. What DPO does that make me?? Shall I just hazard a guess that I o'd 24 hours after my positive, so I am 1DPO? Argh this is confusing.

@thisisour I think AF comes 14 days after ovulation pretty much every time, so if you go backwards two weeks from your last period that's the day you O'd. I found it really interesting using OPK's this cycle, and also it was nice to POAS and get a positive even if it's not a preggo positive

Rosieposies i thought that aswell but i typed in 1st day of last period and my cycle length but 2different sites gave me 2different fws weird i was wondering if cause my cycles r soo long that ovulation might b halfway through cycle so thatd b 3wks before af for me does that make any sense? Lol

Dr google says that early ovulation (before Cd 11) could mean immature eggs or insufficient lining for implantation. :(

Got my peak Cd 9 so O likely was Cd 10

@karigan you can still ovulate 48 hours after a positive OPK! I know you don't want to get your hopes up but it's true, not over till the witch gets here x

I know but all ewcm was gone by CD 11 too. So think it was Cd 10.

Hmmm didnt realise that early ovulation meant that god sumthin else to worry bout add that to my list..was looking at a thing today chinese gender predictor i know its totally premature but my friend whos pregnant was looking at it seems crazy accurate soo weird

Ok guys, so after 2 days of faint opk lines I now have no line again! Any ideas what that might mean?

You might have missed it or it might be a failed attempt. Have you recently come off the pill as sometimes it takes time for ovulation to come back properly

@kaytees I read somewhere that an LH surge can sometimes be in a 4 hour window so can be super easy to miss!

Thanks @Karigan1 - have been off the pill and ttc for 6-7 months so not that I don't think, could be related to cp in December though I suppose!

Yeah I ageee with Rosie then. Imagine if your surge was whilst you were asleep. Easy to miss. Just have sex every time you see ewcm is your best bet

@rosie seemed to have a peak yesterday morning but the line wasn't strong enough to be a positive...now it's got weaker again! We've been doing SMEP which says to DTD every other day until you get a positive OPK or until the end of your cycle, so I guess we'll just keep doing that and see what happens. So confusing! How about you?
