TTC #2 February BFPs

Welcome back all those who've been on this thread before, and welcome Newbies. I've been on here a while (sigh) but here are my stats...

Age 37
DS is 2
TTC #2 properly since March 2017; ntnp since Sept 2015!
Cycle 12
BFP due 6th Feb

Lopey - thank you for thinking of me! Expecting AF any time today. She never disappoints so I know she’ll turn up at some stage - I’m also a glutton for punishment and having had about 4 BFNs this month, I know I’m out!

Feeling a little less blue about it than I was earlier in the week. We’re going to see a Consultant Urologist on Monday (privately) to get DH checked out (mainly because if our issues are male factor alone, we’re both slightly baffled as to how things have changed so dramatically since we conceived DS, so it would be good to see if there’s an explanation)...

We’ve also got a further appointment at the fertility clinic on 26 March where I’m planning to push for a HyCoSy as although the scan I had didn’t reveal any issues and my cycles are as regular as clockwork, I’m keen to check that my one Fallopian tube is still functioning and that there’s nothing else preventing conception... Once that’s done, I think we might try and get a cycle of IVF done before the Summer’s out, as I suspect (given that Cycle 18 #ttc2 is imminently upon us) that our chances of conceiving naturally are fast dwindling...

Omg! Shaking so hard here, does anyone else see what I see? Super faint since been to the toilet 4 times already this morning and drank a lot of water at the gym......

I think my fertile week is over as had quite strong ov cramps yesterday. Will keep dtd for a couple more days just in case cramps are before ov - plus that may help make the tww seem shorter!

Congratulations @Unicornchaser I'm now on CD18 of a 28 day average cycle (sometimes they're up to 32 days). DH and I have been dtd eod from cd 6 until Tuesday (cd 15). Yesterday I had a lot of ewcm but both DH and I were exhausted from work and fell asleep without dtd am I still in with much of chance if we dtd on cd 15 and ov'ed on cd17?!

And if I ov'ed yesterday afternoon would we still be in with a chance if we dtd tonight?!

AF has just arrived... Onwards and upwards to Cycle 18. Off to console myself with some online Retail therapy (which will invariably involve buying more clothes for DS! 😂)

I hear you about the retail therapy. I don’t buy myself clothes anymore. It’s all for DD (who, incidentally, just reverse-crawled for the first time!). I swear around 30% of the reason I want another baby is that, needing maternity clothes, I’ll at least have an excuse to buy myself some new things.

@cariad sorry for af arriving. Have all the wine tonight, retail therapy sounds good. I invariably buy much more for DD than myself!

I have worked out that if my next cycle is 28 days like this one, my EDD will be DS’s 3rd Birthday 🎁 (which would be ironic!) At least AF means I’ll almost certainly make my friend’s wedding at the end of October (here’s hoping I’m heavily pregnant by then at least!)

TTC #2, cycle 2 since AF rudely arrived this week

Q for you ladies - since I had DC my cycle has changed, more irregular but only by a couple of days now (27-30 days for the last few months) but I get 2-3 days of revolting brown spotting before she arrives. I've never had spotting before but was on BC for yeeeeeears before having DC. Do you think I need to be worried or just ignore it?

@cariad I worked out if I conceive in March my EDD would be the same date as DD’s was 😂

Can I have line eyes please? I'm not convinced, don't think I will be until 12wk scan after the mc. EDD is DS Birthday

Amazing, 15 dpo and nothing the day before?! Gives hope to us all. I am especially happy for this bfp rhi because you have been trying a while and I saw you had a loss last year..... so so pleased, and I hope your luck rubs off on more of us! Enjoy this time xxx

Thanks @LopeyLopez it's been a whole year of TTC. My advice is to invoke the law of sod. Last week we booked a holiday for mid October which fingers crossed I now won't be able to go on as it's too close to EDD.

TMI but AF left on Saturday night, Monday night I had tons of EWCM - CD 8! Grabbed DH and we DTD and again this morning as there was more but that seems very early, does anyone know why this might be?

@fifi don’t want to worry you but early ovulation can be a sign of high FSH and low egg reserve. Or it could just be a random strange cycle.

Strange cycle for me this month. AF stopped on the 2nd feb but arrived again last night. That's not even 28 days like I usually am. Oh well, onto cycle 15
