Cakelaur I think you should 'TEST, TEST, TEST!' Smile

Cakelaur · 11/02/2018 19:54

@keepinghopeful 🤣😂🤣 rookie mistake!! Ignore that test. Hopefully it satisfied the craving to test though! Haha

@welshsoph you are super fertile in the 3 months after mc. However they advise you to wait for af to regulate a little so they can date the new pregnancy. Plus for the emotional side. I chose to ignore all of that cos I wanted to make the most of the fertile time. And I knew emotionally, the only thing to make the mc better was to be pregnant again.

@peachesarenom I MAY test tomorrow. I'm gonna see what my temp does. 😂🤣

peachesarenom · 11/02/2018 20:06

Are you gonna test Cookiefiend? Or are you gonna wait and see? I'm super excited to see BFPs tomoz too!

I'm with you keepinghopeful!

I understand welshsoph I would try to get a 2nd opinion from a specialist Dr. Not a midwife or nurse or GP. I got one from epu consultant, he put my mind at rest and was lovely.

I think wait for valentines!Cakelaur

Hi ladies, hoping for some advice. This is our first month TTC since mmc in December, so only my second cycle since. My app said I should ovulate on Friday and my opk tested positive couple of days before Friday. Even my temp spiked on Saturday and stayed higher today so everything looked positive that I ovulated on Friday. However, today I noticed I have ewcm and I thought you should dry up pretty quick after ovulation. I know my body is still not quite in the swing of things as I have been getting ovulation pains on both sides when I usually only have it noticeably on one side. Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience? Smile

peachesarenom · 11/02/2018 20:18

For your squinting pleasure Cookiefiend it's a preggo test for the clear blue advanced fertility monitor which said BFN lol!

Lol UnicornsandRainbows1 the machine says it's BFN. I assume if it were positive there would be two lines!

Hi Claire138 I've heard you get loads of cm pre AF time if you're preggers so maybe test?

peachesarenom · 11/02/2018 20:35

That's right welshsoph but I think you can ask a specialist when you're safe to try again. Call the epu and ask? Just say you've been told lots of contradictory things and need to know what is safe from a specialist. Insist.

Claire138 · 11/02/2018 20:40

Hi @peachesarenom thanks for the reply. I am only 2dpo IF I did actually ovulate on Friday. Prob looking into it too much! I used to be like clockwork so finding it hard not being able to keep on top of it.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/02/2018 20:48

@peachesarenom Sure I see two. Maybe it's a shadow and wishful thinking Grin

peachesarenom · 11/02/2018 20:52

It is hard Claire138 I have no idea what my body is up to!

UnicornsandRainbows1 We'll have to wait and see! I'd love to join you asap!

Eastend2015 · 11/02/2018 20:59

claire DTD as much as you can- I think opks can sometimes be a little out so DTD as much as possible over the next couple of days to cover all bases!

Welsh I sometimes wonder whether people say you are more fertile after a miscarriage to try and make you feel better, I don’t know if it’s true. Waiting one cycle makes it easier to date your pregnancy but otherwise just try again when you are ready and obviously have the all clear in terms of tests or any infections.

I’m doing ok- a bit wobbly! Sickness ties and weds then nothing thurs/ fri, then nauseous again yesterday and today but not massively. Retested yesterday and the pregnant line initially was no darker than my early test on Wednesday but then got darker over a few hours. Had the tiniest bit of pink on wiping today but hoping just implantation?! Head is all over the place. Keep me sane ladies! Should only but just 4 weeks so I guess anything goes?!

Hortonlovesahoo · 11/02/2018 21:14

Just a little note for those using the ovulation kits - they may not always be accurate if you have fertility issues (like PCOS). I had a positive test for 14 days with the clearblue one (!).

Eastend2015 · 11/02/2018 21:15

Ps peaches maybe a squinter, use a frer!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/02/2018 21:16

@Eastend2015 There's so much going on atm sweetpea, take it one day at a time. Could be the simplirst thing as everything connects a bit more.

The test getting darker, albeit later on is still something.

Claire138 · 11/02/2018 21:20

@peachesarenom it is so frustrating. Hopefully we will have a bfp soon so we can stop worrying about tracking 🤞

@eastend2015 yes, we dtd yesterday, thinking that was the last chance at my fertility window this month but seeing the ewcm today I’m just confused now so just going to keep at it.
I can understand your anxiety as I know I will be the same (if I get my bfp). A bit of light spotting is perfectly normal at this stage. I found reading a good thriller helped distract me and going out for walks. Just try and stay positive 🙂 (easier said than done!)

Eastend2015 · 11/02/2018 21:22

Thanks unicorns, poor DH is getting a blow by account! Grin How are you getting on?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/02/2018 21:28

@Eastend2015 I'm getting along okay. Told my mum and I think she's just a bit surprised and super worried for me. Trying to decide if I want a 6 week scan or if I should just wait for 8-9 weeks. I want to know it's all going in the right direction but I don't want to have any false hope during such critical weeks 😩 I hate all of this.

Eastend2015 · 11/02/2018 21:33

Thanks claire!

Unicorns I’ll def be getting a scan at six weeks, it’s offered anyway due to previous EP. Presuming I get that far Confused I know it doesn’t necessarily mean everything will continue ok but still means we can get on if we get bad news.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 11/02/2018 21:38

@Eastend2015 We have an open appointment for the EPU for a scan at 6-7 weeks, and can get one for after that too. Maybe it'll be clearer next week
