Ladies, the old thread has now closed so I created a new one but can't post the link, hopefully you'll find it and we can continue.

Could be the herbs orchid, I think they probably will change things and will take a while to adjust. Keep testing!

Good luck weasledee - you are not out until af arrives!

Orchid222 · 18/02/2018 21:08

Yes maybe. I'll be at the clinic on Tuesday so I'll ask if other women reported changes to their cycles. I'm thinking they either pushed it back or forward and opks didn't detect it or the pain I felt yesterday was my poor old ovary trying to release the egg and failing.
That's right weasledee-its not over yet, there's still a chance, good luck!

AF got me this morning!
So back to the drawing board....
Confused

sparklyglitterball · 19/02/2018 11:46

Hi ladies, sorry af appeared weasel. Hope everyone else is doing ok. I was expecting af on Friday or Saturday and no show so far. I had a smudge of brown discharge on wiping last Wednesday, then the same again on Thursday, but it was pink/red. Nothing at all since. My boobs were sore from ovulation but they felt completely comfy again by time I had the spotting. Yesterday they started getting sore again! So I'm really trying not to get my hopes up, and planning to test tomorrow if af not here. I'm thinking it'll be Sod's law that I'll write this post and af will show!!

LuckyHappyMummy123 · 19/02/2018 12:23

Sorry AF got you WEASLE - don’t know about you but most months I find it soul destroying

SPARKLY - sounds very promising! Fingers well and truly crossed for you

I don’t even have the tww this month as due to various reasons we didn’t even get the chance this month - I don’t know which is worse AF arriving or knowing that I have absolutely no chance and and yet another month goes by - total gutted Sad

Orchid222 · 19/02/2018 12:37

Sorry about AF weasle.
Sparkly-I can't but admire your restraint, I would've started testing yesterday. We're due a bfp on here so good luck, hopefully this is it!

Sorry to hear af came weasle, always so disapointing

Good luck sparkly - there is no way I would have held out that long! But I kind of understand it's nice to cling on to the hope while it's there, before the usual inevitable disapointment! Lets hope for you it was worth the wait - we need a bfp on here, it's been too long!

JoJoyorker · 19/02/2018 12:58

Sport weasle and good luck sparkly that does sound promising
I know what you mean lucky, I had that a couple of months ago and it seems an even longer wait when there's no hope.

Karigan1 · 19/02/2018 14:26

Bit worried I’m ovulating too early but could be the EPO. Day 8 and getting ewcm already. Could this just be the EPO? How many days do you guys get ewcm for when taking it. Last cycle was actually 28 days.

sparklyglitterball · 19/02/2018 15:30

Well, I caved and tested.............strong bfp!!! I can't believe it, in absolute shock! Terrified something will go wrong, it seems too good to be true. So glad to be able to share the news with you ladies. Smile

Orchid222 · 19/02/2018 15:47

Omg congrats Sparkly, fantastic news! I think we all needed it, good luck! Did you do anything differently this month?

OP posts:
sparklyglitterball · 19/02/2018 15:56

Thanks orchid, it really hasn't sunk in at all!! I'm desperate to talk about it. Dp is working from home today and is equally shocked/delighted but has to get on with work. We both did dry January, and although we don't drink a huge amount normally, I wonder if that made a difference. The other thing we did this month which we've not tried for the year we've been trying is to dtd for 4/5 days consecutively over fertile week. I've only been taking normal prenatal vitamins. Normally we only manage every other day. Symptoms wise I've had some nausea, been really windy! and noticeably more hungry. Also have sore boobs, had the spotting last week and cramping on and off. Eeekkkkk!!

sparklyglitterball · 19/02/2018 15:58

Karigan, I often start getting ewcm around day 8, lasting up to 5 days. My cycle tends to be 24/25 days.

Karigan1 · 19/02/2018 16:05

Wow congratulations Sparkly :) won’t panic too much then since you have a BFP and get ewcm from then

LuckyHappyMummy123 · 19/02/2018 16:29

WOW! Congratulations SPARKLY! Just fantastic news Grin. So pleased for you and I think it will give us all a boost - some nice news x

JoJoyorker · 19/02/2018 16:33

Oh that's amazing news!! Congratulations! It's the first BFP I've seen on here, it's so nice to see. Do you have DC already? I can't remember who has and hasn't.

JoJoyorker · 19/02/2018 16:35

Karigan this month I had a bit of EWCM for 3 days not a lot and mainly when I had a look not just on wiping. The 4th day there was a lot more and was watery. The next day completely dry. I assume I ovulated on the watery day? Those who know when they ovulate does EWCM stop completely at ovulation or can you get some after ovulating?

sparklyglitterball · 19/02/2018 16:42

Thanks ladies, I hope you don't mind me talking about it on here. Totally understandable if it's sensitive.........I've been through the heartache of miscarriage and ttc for ages, so I do get it. Jo jo, we've got two dc. First took nearly a year to conceive with a chemical pregnancy during that time. The second we tried for 6 months, conceived, miscarriage at 6 weeks, then fell again 4 months later with her. This time we've not used contraception since January 2017, and have timed dtd most months roughly around fertile time, but been fairly relaxed about it.......until the last few months, when it's all started to feel a bit hopeless! How about you? Really hoping to see some more bfps on here Smile

Cleozeta · 19/02/2018 16:53

Congrats sparkly!! Really pleased for you, and it gives us hope! Finally Smile

Orchid222 · 19/02/2018 17:13

May the trend continue! Smile

Don't mind at all it's lovely to see some good news and gives hope. This board is a bit different to the others and you really do want to see good news.

weasledee · 19/02/2018 19:09

Sparkly that's great news! Please keep us updated! Gives us all hope! If you don't mind me asking how old you? Smile

JoJoyorker · 19/02/2018 19:11

How much Ubquinol do you all take a day? I take one tablet 100mg but not sure that's enough after looking online

Orchid222 · 19/02/2018 19:45

I take 1 tablet but mine are 200mg

OP posts:
Cleozeta · 19/02/2018 19:46
