78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

I’ve been thinking the same @LifeOfRiley63 Before AF arrived I literally had been doing ovulation tests 3 days a day every single day and they were all negative, and I thought you had to ovulate before you could have a period! Confused

Apparently you can 'not ovulate' & have periods but can't ovulate & not have a period. I don't know why though so that's unhelpful, lol.

Tinker apparently opks don't work for everyone, but I don't know why. Not very helpful I know, sorry! I've had a lot of creamy but stretchy discharge today. Negative hpt and opk Hmm Confused

When would you say the fertile window typically starts? My Ovia just asked to update my calendae because it thinks I may be more fertile. But its CD10? Is that early? Negative OPK this morning.

Hey Riley. I got a positive opk on Cd 9 so glow changed my chart to this. Green is the fertile window

Cd10 is probably right Riley ....your fertile window ends on Ovia the day after ovulation, so a few days before ovulation is when it starts. Hopefully that means your cycle will be normal this time with ovulation around day 14 or 15?

To be honest I think your best bet is to watch out for ewcm. I get that before a positive test. Cycles still restablishing but it appeared the day before the positive tests both of the last two cycles and loads of people are saying your chances are best if you time sex to ewcm.

I think temping confirms ovulating but by the time you note the shift it’s happened according to some websites.

I got EWCM for 3 days prior to getting a positive OPK and temp spike

I had loads of EWCM over a few days and done 3 ovulation tests a day and it still didn't show as positive!

I've been off the pill almost a year and only just starting to get back to a normal cycle. Went from 90 days to 67 then settled at 64 day cycled for a few months and now around 30 to 34.

@Tinker315b I got EWCM on cd 11,12 and 13. Positive OPK on CD14 at night and morning of Cd15.

I'd test twice a day- in morning and at night so you don't miss your surge.

I'm 14dpo and waiting for AF.

@gossipgirl I was doing 3 each day from I came off the pill right through until CD1 and never got a positive Sad I would think by doing 3 everyday surely one would have picked it up, I was testing at 10 a.m, 4 p.m and then 9 p.m for days on end and nothing! But will be doing the same this time as soon as I get EWCM so fingers crossed I get a positive!

Spotting! I've just had some blood tinged cm... Quite a bit of it. On cd105 with no sign of anything up until now & I'm quite excited by it really haha

I had my AF for about 4-5 days, really really light the whole way through. On CD10 now and have been keeping DH....occupied! 😉
Had awful back cramps today and a hot flush out of nowhere, practically peeled everything off at work, was melting. Strange Hmm

Don’t really know too much about testing for ovulation and changes to cm- can’t help there but sounds like you are bound to catch it at some point tinker!

Gossipgirl- are you testing again in a few days?

I stupidly keep testing and getting bfn- clearly I’m still to early to actually test. But I feel weird so either af is haunting me well in advance or I just need to hold out to test again.
