78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

I'm now 15dpo no sign of AF. I did a cheapy test on 13dpo and it was negative.
Have no symptoms and no cramps. I have no idea what the spotting was from 7dpo to 10dpo? Now I'm thinking was it a v v light AF!
I guess I've only had 1 period so far off the pill so it may take a while to get into a cycle.

I hope so @Loz Hopefully you don't have to wait much longer!

Maybe try again in a weeks time @gossipgirl28 ?
And if not as you say it possibly just your body trying settling down after stopping the pill!

I guess the only way we are going to find out is wait for af to arrive 😒 one cycle doesn’t mean it can’t happen. I got a bfn today at 10dpo x

@Tinker315b AF never arrived properly! Had nothing yesterday, just quite a lot of creamy discharge and nothing today. Tested yesterday and still BFN so I'm actually thinking it was an insanely light period. Maybe Agnus Castus had something to do with It? Someone on another thread said that the first month they took it their period was barely more than spotting.

@gossipgirl28 sounds like we're going through the same thing this month lol

It can take ages for the cycle to return to norm. I bet in 3 months you’ll both be pregnant and wondering why you worried so much. (If it hasn’t happened already as you aren’t out till red blood is there)

My sister told me yesterday she thinks she might be pregnant as she just has this feeling.
She missed a pill so took the morning after pill a few weeks ago but is worried she may still be pregnant.
She doesn't know I'm TTC but I really wanted to say fat chance...I've been off the pill for 11 weeks with lots of DTD,OPK and temp tracking, vitamins and fertility lube and nothing has happened yet! Ha

My sister told me yesterday that my younger cousin is 12 weeks with DC2 and her 1st child isn't even a year old yet. It surprised me how jealous I felt when I saw the scan pic...then i felt awful! Yeah @Karigan hopefully in 3 months time we'll all be pregnant, would love that.

@SpadesOfGlory I took it and my AF was quite a normal flow, maybe a day shorter but it will affect people in different ways I suppose!

Snap! DH's step-sister just announced she's 4 months pregnant with her brand new bf and she's very young, totally unplanned but keeping it.
I could spit. She got pregnant at the same time we started TTC. Bitch.

Lol, the jealousy is real. Usually when people tell me they're pregnant, I am genuinely happy for them but at the same time want to cry.

@tinyradish I used to be happy for people before I was TTC, now I'm murderously jealous of anyone. Theres a girl at my work (I don't really know her) but I instantly felt this huge surge of dislike for her when her bump started showing. (BTW - she is actually a lovely person - but this is what TTC has turned me into - the green eyed monster!!!)

I understand! Although I don't feel much jealousy, just sadness. Mostly I just want to cry.

AF has not arrived!

How likely would you say it is that I have another long cycle now I've had my first AF? I only thought today 'hmmm' it can't be that straight forward.

My first AF was 2 and a half months after i stopped the pill. Then I had a 27 and a 34 day cycle, then my epic 89 day cycle, and if I take my latest weird bleed as AF then I had a 35 day cycle. Genuinely hope you have a more straightforward transition back to normality!

Did you all have regular cycles before the pill?

@tinyradish I didn't track them so don't know for certain. But they were definitely a lot more regular than they are now

I never did either - you just don't care when you're young though do you! Mine were definitely long cycles, maybe every 6-8 weeks at a guess.

Anyway, AF has arrived today. So that was a 106 day cycle

I had regular periods before the pill, every 28-30 days I think.

Ovia has confused me today. Its saying I'm in the early luteal phase and I've already ovulated?!

Why does it think you've already ovulated @LifeOfRiley63? You haven't told it you've ovulated! Lol are you temping or anything and it's going by your temperature?

I honestly have no idea! I haven't had EWCM or anything. Just back aches. I had a hot flush the other day. My OPKs have been negative, this morning's was very faint second line after 10 minutes so not convinced.

It’s just a Program and makes assumptions. Go with opks and ewcm spotting rather than rely on the app :)

My friend has just found out she is pregnant today! So happy for her as she has been trying for a while and had a miscarriage- but secretly hoping we can share the experience together 😂 fx
