78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

@gossipgirl28 doctors all went well thanks, did the initial blood test and was told it’d take about a week for results. I have my internal scan Saturday also so hoping the bloods will come back by Monday also so I can see the doctor and figure out what’s going on. I’ve had really bad cramps all afternoon though and thought Sod’s law I might finally be coming on (which would mean I’d have to delay the internal) so rushed to the toilet but no sign of anything yet so still playing the waiting game!

@LifeOfRiley63 I would say I hope so but with this internal scan I actually wanted to not come on till after! It’s definitely a case of Sod’s law isn’t it 😂 had I not had the scan booked I’m sure nothing would happen! Will have to call and re book them if I do!

BFN this morning at 12dpo. Really gutted ladies. Think I'm out for this month then as that was with a First Response Early Test too!

@gossipgirl28 I'm so sorry pickle, but chin up, there's still a chance! Your spotting only stopped on Sunday, so maybe it takes a little bit longer to create enough HCG levels? Keep smiling xxxx

Two cycles in a row I’ve ovulated early. Cd 9 and 10. I don’t think that’s good :(

@Kairgan1 CD9 & CD10? That seems quite early. Did you definitely ovulate? Were you using OPKs? Have you looked on Google about short cycles? xx

I'm worried about missing the window of opportunity so I think me and DH are going to try DTD as often as we can. DTD every day since finishing AF.

@gossipgirl28 12dpo is still early, don't give up hope until AF shows xx

I'm still lightly spotting this morning. Dunno whether to count this as AF or not?

Well positive opk peaks on those days so ovulation would be around 36 hrs later. Not temping so can’t definitely confirm :(

Thanks ladies! I'm going to test again in a few days but don't have much hope as I used a first response early test do you would think it might show a faint line or something but it was a BfN.

@SpadesOfGlory I'm wondering what my random 4 days of spotting were now? (7dpo to 10dpo) could it have been my AF a week early? This spotting shizz is really annoying isn't it- what does it mean?! Xoxo

@gossipgirl28 who knows! I haven't even had enough for a pantyliner for 3 days now, with cramps just like normal AF and a sore lower back yesterday. I might test tonight cause I have Frers coming today.

@SpadesOfGlory I'd recommend holding out until your first wee tomorrow morning, much more reliable and stronger results xx

If I'm not pregnant I have no idea what's going on. I'm spotting on the same days as my expected period on Ovia but it's nowhere near as heavy as it should be as a period. It's more brown mixed with creamy CM and only there when I wipe. I have had periods of entirely brown blood before but it's always been enough for a pad or tampon and was no mistaking it was a period.

@SpadesOfGlory I would also hold on until the morning too! But it does sound like IB from what I've read up, lets hope it is And if not then maybe its just an extremely light AF. Good luck xx

I’ve got to sort myself out. Every time I google something it tells me ‘you could be pregnant’ no wonder these bfn’s Are a big blow! The last 2 days I’ve had moments of light cramping as though AF is about to come.

I thought I saw something rreeeeeaaaallly faint so i took the test apart (I know I know)

Can anyone else see anything??? Or have I got line eyes again? It's probably an evap. But I've taken tests apart before and never ever been able to see any 2nd line at all...

I can't tell if there's any colour to it, it's so faint! But I can definitely see something. I've never had an evap on any test before and I've pulled loads of them apart

Spotting still hasn't developed into a period either.
