78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Yeah I know. DH says I have to try and stop thinking about it and it'll just happen...doesnt help when he tells me his mate from work said his wife got pregnant both times from 1 go!! Lol
I'm going to wallow in self pity this morning and then try to think positively again.

Yeah I get you. I’m 40. I have even less chance. Think the highest is 18.7% chance if I get the exact right day so feel much the same.

Ok now I'm confused! TMI warning

Definite red blood on wiping this morning and some cramps. Put a pad on, went to loo an hour later...nothing on pad and brown blood on wiping. Checked there now again and just the faintest light brown smear when wiping Confused

Forgot to say I had a BFN on an frer this morning so I doubt this is implantation bleeding.

@SpadesOfGlory

With implantation bleeding I've read posts where ladies have got a bfp several days after implantation happens as there needs to be time for the pregnancy hormones to rise. I'd test again in 3/4 days.

I'm ever so slightly still brown spotting and have mild cramps. This will be day 3 of implantation bleeding or day 3 of I have no idea what's going on. I'm 9dpo and on Cd23.

Xoxo

SpadesOfGlory · 17/02/2018 13:13

Thanks...everything is a waiting game when ttc and I'm SO impatient lol!

There's lots of reports online of ladies not testing positive till 17dpo or later, so I'll keep my fingers crossed it doesn't get any heavier in the meantime. Just so weird though!

Hi ladies tried to post yesterday but phone wasn’t working- have it sorted now. I haven’t brought a test with me to Dublin to avoid thinking about it too much! Not particular
symptoms just very odd itchy cleavage... very annoying.

Oh how confusing spades- fingers crossed for you. It’s strange how ttc is so mind consuming!

I’m trying to hold out to testing Friday but if I get ‘symptoms’ I know I’ll cave x

SpadesOfGlory · 17/02/2018 14:24

It's completely stopped now! Confused absolutely no brown even when wiping.

How are you finding Dublin Loz? I love it! Had many a lovely weekend there Smile

Enjoy Dublin @Loz604 Xx

LifeOfRiley63 · 17/02/2018 19:15

Hey @Spades, sorry bit late to these posts. How you feeling now? Apart from very confused I bet! What symptoms have you had? Have you had the gripey cramps you get the day before your period? Boobs/nausea/knackered/sniffles/CM before the bleeding?xxxx

Loz604 · 17/02/2018 20:45

Dublin is lovely. We’ve done lots of walking and a little drinking too. Did the Guineas tour today- that was great. Going to the wax museum and the castle tomorrow.

SpadesOfGlory · 17/02/2018 22:41

@LifeOfRiley63 oh I'm so confused lol.
I've been having minor cramps pretty constantly since ovulation. It's not the same as AF cramps, I only really notice it when I'm sitting still. Usually with AF I get sore boobs for a week which stop the day I start bleeding and it usually starts dark brown and within a couple of hours is properly red and heavy for the first day...

The past 2 weeks I haven't had sore boobs at all! Also no CM..ive just had a complete absence of any symptoms Confused

How are things now @SpadesOfGlory x

SpadesOfGlory · 17/02/2018 22:47

Oh actually I had a stuffy nose and thumping headache on Valentine's day. I very rarely get a headache. And I've been pretty tired in general but thought that was just lack of sleep. Its probably just my body playing another cruel joke though!

@Tinker we posted at the same time Grin
All the bleeding has completely stopped so I have no idea!

Tinker315b · 17/02/2018 23:09

@SpadesOfGlory 😂 It does sound like something is happening with you! I don’t think people quite realise how much this gets you down unless you are going through it yourself 😔

SpadesOfGlory · 17/02/2018 23:27

I actually was so gutted this morning, I woke up poor DH and had a little cry! I never in a million years thought it would take this long. And in the grand scheme of things I know 8 months isn't a long time but it feel like forever!

I've never had bleeding stop like this after a couple of hours. Will just have to wait another couple of days and see!

tinyradish · 18/02/2018 00:47

I've had a stomach bug or something all day. So so incredibly sick. Finally managed to get out of bed at about 6pm.

Roll on tomorrow.

gossipgirl28 · 18/02/2018 07:42

I'm so glad I have this app and you ladies to speak too!

I've learnt so much useful advice and it helps knowing we are all at the same stage.

Let's hope next week is a positive one and everyone is feeling better xoxo

gossipgirl28 · 18/02/2018 07:44

I was trying to explain the difference to OH last night about AF and implantation bleeding!

It was hard as I'm confused myself! Ha xoxo
