78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Hey ladies help me out. If I got the LH peak on the 26th jan I am right in thinking AF should be due today right? Had a few traces of blood after dtd but that’s it really....

Karigan yeah I would expect it today or tomorrow ... depends how late you actually ovulated after you got the positive opk I guess.

Thank you. I was working off the fact that being older they say you ovulate sooner but you’re right it could be tomorrow!

Ovia says I'm due AF on Monday but also not due to test for another 5 days so who knows when I can expect anything!

I do usually get sore boobs a good few days before AF though and I've had nothing at all yet so I doubt I'm due Monday. Frantically googling "bfp with absolutely no synptoms"

Stop googling lol. It does happen. I’ve seen that loads of times when surfing.

Far as I can tell the only signs that aren’t both pms and pregnancy are food aversions, nausea and darkening nipples. But not sure I believe the internet on that either as I’ve had a few bouts of nausea and don’t believe I’m pregnant as had traces of blood too.....

Other months i havent been pregnant and ive had every symptom under the sun! Im keeping my fingers crossed that anything different might lead to a bfp

I'm still having the odd drink (and enjoying them) because God knows I need a drink with the effort it takes to TTC 😂

Just downloaded glow. I guessed a 26 day cycle since I ovulated round day 11. Does that sound right? Still no sign lol

@karigan maybe you have a long luteal phase? Are you going to be testing if AF doesn't arrive tomorrow?

That’s what I’m wondering. Luteal phase is in average 12 to 16 days so Tuesday should be the last possible if I ovulated late after peak and have a long luteal from my reckoning.

Thinking I may pick up a test... still think I’m not though lol

It's best to wait as long as possible says the girl who tested with evening pee at 5dpo but we all know how hard that is! I have some ebay cheapies calling my name from the bathroom cabinet and an FRER that I've hidden in a drawer to avoid obvious temptation!

On another note...im gobsmacked this thread has reached 500 posts! I never realised just how many women all struggle with the same thing. It's been great sharing this journey with you all and it's kept me sane!

Pretty sure its not a fingers crossed situation but thank you as you never know ;)

I just re-filled my pillbox and realised what a crazy woman I am, it can't be normal to take this many pills!
Folic acid, magnesium, cq10, omega 3, starflower oil, evening primrose oil, soya isoflavones, agnus castus, vitamin b complex, vitamin d3!! #rattlerattle

Point to note ladies: don’t take magnesium with your prenates as it stops iron being absorbed. Needs to be a 2 hr gap!

Oh and still no AF. See what happens today!

Thanks for the advice karigan. I didn't know that & am planning on adding magnesium in.

Because I'm actually insane, did a frer today. There was 100% a faint line that wasn't a figment of my imagination but it was so faint you could only see it in a certain light/angle, lol. Not sure there was any colour in it so passing it off as an evap but even so, I'm not going to be able to stop myself from testing again in a few days.

Still no AF for me, I have had cramps for 6 days now and running to the toilet thinking finally this is it... then nothing 😭

I didn’t know either. Found it yesterday googling something else!
