Hello, can I join you all please? I thought I was 1d PO today but my temperature suggests it’s ovulation day today. We dtd on Wednesday night, but weren’t together yesterday and I won’t see dh until tonight! Do you think 36/48 hours is close enough ? I know I have to wait and see but it’s so frustrating to maybe miss this by one day! This feels like it’ll be a long wait. No children yet for us and I’m 36 so feels like every month counts! X

I am only basing the fact I am 1DPO on tummy cramps. Ovia tells me I'm at peak fertility today. We DTD on Wednesday and am hoping to again tonight, but DH works shifts so we can sometimes go 2 or 3 days without seeing each other. I'm hoping that based on my feeling that I was ovulating Weds/yesterday and we DTD on Wednesday night, we caught it. So I would say 36/48 hours is fine (apparently sperm can survive up to 6 days inside you!), but I'm possibly biased as kinda in the same boat... only on 1st cycle too and came off the pill las Oct so I'm not very reliable! Others might be able to offer some better advice!

Ah thank you all. It took 18 months to conceive dd1 so I'm shocked it happened so quickly tbh.

@cakeanytime my symptoms so far are- I had bad cramping on 7,8,9 dpo. I was so bloated and had terrible mood swings. I've been awful to live with- poor dh. I was also boiling hot, literally sweating wherever I went! On 9dpo and 10dpo I had a bad stabbing pain on my right side, so bad I had to sit down. Yesterday and today I had terrible nausea which is what prompted me to test as I had HG with my previous successful pregnancies and always feel sick early. I've also been waking up around 2am and can't get back to sleep which again always happens.

I'm very cautious as ive had 3 mcs in the past so the odds aren't in my favour but I'm trying to stay positive.

Thanks Paris1986, it looks like we are in a similar situation!! I work away from home during the week, ovulation days always seem to land on a Wednesday 🙈

Now for the 2WW!!

Had weird cramps and soo gassy today (sorry tmi🙈) and exhausted. Really hope this is the month as I just feel different and I know I'm probably just thinking it because I want to be pregnant but I don't know, it's just a feeling!

Still no AF here, so weird. No symptoms though. Feel I should get a FRER for the morning and jinx myself haha! I don't think I'm pregnant at all but this never happens

Ok I can now officially join you all in the wait! My OPKs finally went negative today after being positive since Monday 😌 boy am I glad to take a break!! Now I just need to hold off testing...have 2 frers and 2 clearblue digitals waiting. What is the absolute minimum dpo you would wait to test? Obviously I'll use the frer first

@nk1605 I'd wait to at least 10dpo, if you can wait it out even more or until the day of AF then do it (I have zero willpower).

I've bought another test for tomorrow morning to put my mind at ease as AF hasn't come yet. I will be one day after missed AF, so 13dpo. Spotting has stopped completely. I don't have any symptoms though, so not overly confident! Last test was yesterday on a digi which was bfn. Couldn't get a FRER tonight so it's a CB dye one tomorrow

Currently 11dpo ttc no2. I’d forgotten how mad ttc can make you. I’m only on my first cycle but I’ve been symptom spotting like mad although most of my symptoms (tired, bloated) can be linked to an excessive Christmas! And now my symptoms have all gone and I’m pretty sure af is nearly here but I (probably stupidly) live in hope.

So I thought I could see a line after 3 mins as could DH, very, very faint though...13dpo, cd31. The same cd as I got a bfp last time. Can you see it too? Would you say this is a positive? Not getting overly excited though as I feel nothing and it's not exactly a strong positive and I've had an emc before. What do you think? Need to buy another now!
