Just heading into the 2ww!! This is the worst part, symptom spotting and poas like there's no tomorrow

Actually now I look again, I can def def def see a line in the top test (the SMU one). EEK! Exciting!

9dpo if Glow's right, but only came off pill end Nov so not a lot of personal data to go off - I think it defaults to assuming a normal 28 day cycle. We DTD daily during Glow's estimated FW then had a week apart so timing was lucky, if we're right. I reckon 9/10 dpo - I didn't temp or check cm, was trying not to drive myself too crazy so early on TTC.

Felt very odd for the last five days though, boobs registering no change at all but very achey back, weirdly piercing headache on and off, no appetite or sense of taste at all, insomnia / total exhaustion, so got a bit keen. Have asked DH to hide the pissy sticks until tomorrow!!!

@SleepyBadger AF Is late but have period cramps like @Brownbear84 was describing so holding out hope that it's a BFP, don't know if I should get a CB, scared incase it's BFN

11dpo - tested this morning and a Snow White BFN!

• Today though (and since 7dpo actually) my boobs are just HORRIFICALLY painful, firm and darker!

• My CP is so high I cant reach it (tmi, Soz!)

• and I keep getting these ridiculous 'electric shocks' to the foof - to the point where folk were giving me the eye cause I was walking with a twitch round asda at lunchtime!!

AF due on Friday... hopefully there is still a chance ~FX~

Bought a Superdrug own test, 4 days before af but they had no early detections in stock. Gave it a whirl and got some urine on the window itself, made a wee air bubble type thing so cracked it open to see clearer. Probably mucked up the test but can't help but feel hopeful. What do you think? The test was still drying as it was literally almost straight away I cracked it open due to the unclear window. I don't have the dried test as I had to go back to work and nowhere to put it.

@CollyWombles it's difficult to tell, you should re test for a clearer result. Nothing worse when you just want to know. I have an Asda one in the dining room and can't pluck up the courage to test😩

ps hear many good things about seedlip @ATP1000 might treat self to a bottle now. DH doing me a favour polishing off last of open red bottle. If this turns out to be a BFN now...

No DH and I have decided that when he's back from his weekly game of football we will test, getting period like cramps though so not getting too hopeful

Oh wooly that is so annoying I have peed on the window too several times.

I've convinced myself that all the tests I've done this month are faulty and that I am actually pregnant and that if I stare long enough at them a line will appear. Anyway I've run out of tests for now and not buying anymore because they don't last in my house I just compulsively use them.

I've just tested using FMU and FRER, and I think I'm out. There isn't even a hint of a line!! Not even a shadow or anything!! 😞

Can our bodies trick us??? Do we notice symptoms because we feel/want to be pregnant?

@cookiesaurus it is really frustrating. 😔Doesn't help that AF symptoms are so similar to those of early pregnancy. It's rubbish all this waiting and wondering. I had a rubbish day yesterday really teary and fed up. You think I would no better having been through this 3 times before (with 2 DC's and our angel baby) but nope TWW still sucks! X

I'm quite proud that I've resisted testing since Sunday. Going to test again tomorrow morning as AF is due tomorrow. However had some cramps yesterday. My boobs are very sore though. More so that usual and that's what I remember from my other 2 pg's. I am scared to test again just in case is is bfn. FX everyone!

I tested this morning with FMU as well and got a BFN. I don’t think this is my month this month. Good luck ladies!

Another BFN for me this morning too at 10dpo. That's three days in a row... Stomach pains today so worried AF is on the way 2 days early, which also means a short LP (also worrying). I've been looking into pre pregnancy vitamins. Does anyone have any recommendations?

@cookiesaurus I'm out also, BFN last night and cramps are getting stronger so AF on way very soon! First proper month since coming off the pill so FX will happen next month ladies

@Westieandlittleboymama it's really frustrating isn't it! If AF comes this week I'm definitely cracking open a really nice bottle of wine! I was out for a champagne afternoon tea last weekend and I didn't drink!! 🙈

Oh well, I guess we enjoy the next couple of weeks and then it starts again!

I’m BFN 11dpo again.

@cookiesaurus, it is so unfair that pregnancy and AF symptoms are so similar. I have felt so rough this month that I can’t believe I have felt like this every two weeks for the last 20 years and not noticed! To the point where I’m going to the doctor if it’s the same next month. Ive been symptom spotting a lot this month and learning a lot about hormones and cycles which I didn’t know before so I think I’ve been too sensitive to any signs. I need to chill, get back in the gym which usually reduces pms symptoms and see what happens!

It is a bugger that the symptoms are so similar. Of those I've experienced in the last week (conception, implantation) the clear differences from standard AF, for me, were the insomnia, vivid and fairly disturbing dreams, daytime fatigue (or morning anyway - even after 8 hrs sleep I could have had three more and only just felt lively), unexplained headache and lack of appetite and sense of taste. The backache, crampy feeling and normal CM could have been either.

Little clearer with FMU this morning so think I'm off to find a grads thread - dust to everyone still waiting x

@MissSophieB397 you give us a little glimmer of hope with your 12dpo bfp! Can I ask if you tested in previous days and whether you used FRER or IC?
