Test day is Christmas Day!!

So this cycle my PG test day falls on Christmas Day!!
What a lovely Christmas present a BFP would be!!!
I wouldn't need to worry about what to get my MiL she would be over the moon!! Ha!
Ahh I'm just dreaming of a baby dust filled Christmas!!
Anyone else's cycles falls similar???

I think AF may be here 😞 I have no cramps but there’s some light brown/pink discharge. I’m on cycle day 36 and around 13DPO 😞

@SomebodysNotInBedYet I tested early at 9dpo and I got negative just leave it two more days I did mine on 10dpo and I got a positive very faint tho 🙂.

Yes 9dpo is too early, don't feel bad! Try to wait as long as poss though.

Argh I'm so impatient too, I tested yesterday at 8DPO and obviously got a BFN. Why oh why can't I wait it out!!

I know, I really thought I had the self control this time to wait for AF but apparently not! Pumpkin that's disappointing, at least you can enjoy a festive drink? Obviously not much of a consolation though.

When I first started TTC I used to get loads of cheapies and do them every day :)

I buy the internet cheapies too every month and hope DH isn't home first when they arrive

Cheapies are the best. Look, I’m going to pee on this damn stick at 9DPO, and nothing is going to stop me, so may as well do a cheap one!

Plus if they’re negative you can blame them for being cheap and therefore shit.

Does anyone use the wilkinson tests? They're £1 for two and I've been buying those in bulk in preparation. Just wondered if anyone had seen if they're decent or if they're a bit pap.

@SomebodysNotInBedYet really disappointing 😞 it’s the strangest thing though.. I normally get very bad cramps when I get AF and thats the first sign I know it’s coming... I’ve had no pains all day just brown spotting TMI!

No idea why it’s different this time! It drives me crazy not understanding my body.. argh

CRZ1988 - I have used the wilko tests. They are just standard plastic tests, but not terribly sensitive. I think they’re about 20mlu, so only suitable if you can wait until the day of your missed period!

I tend to use internet cheapies or sometimes treat myself to a first response, or the Boots 5 days early tests. It’s 3 for 2 on pregnancy tests at the moment so good time to stock up.

I'm due to test on Xmas day too!! Had a bit of bleeding for a few hours yesterday, but I've just read up on implantation bleeding and trying to convince myself that's what it was. 7 months TTC and that would be an amazing Xmas present.

I'm due to test Xmas day had 1 tiny bit of very light pink blood like a streak when I wiped on Tuesday night then nowt since. Hoping it was implantation. Need to sit on my hands till Monday Lol xx

I tested early on Wednesday & Thursday both bfn. Had some very light pink discharge yesterday but only once when I wiped, thought for sure af was on the way but I've had nothing since. Realistically I know I'm out but until af arrives I can't help but hope :(

I tested at 10dpo this morning a bfn. Just waiting for af to turn up now. So very sick of this TTC journey.

Tested today at 12dpo on an internet cheapie and bfn. Had really got my hopes up as my boobs have been really sore and last time they were like that i was pregnant (ended in a mmc though at 9 weeks).

@starfishy that's crap, could it have been a chemical? Not that that's is any less crap. It's not over til AF arrives!

I didn't do the test.
I only have one wilkos one and one cb one so want to wait until af is late.

Still have v sore boobs, v teary and I'm knackered too. Walked the dogs and I felt exhausted. Had a nap when I get home. I got mad at DH too which wasn't good.

I'm hoping this isn't just pms!!

@crz1988 I’m the same, teary, having to nap in the day when off work. Going to bed early and can’t carry DD very far at all without being knackered. Don’t have sore boobs but then never do. Also got really mad with DH earlier too.

Seeing as my test was bfn I’m guessing these are all just super pms symptoms. Hopefully different for you.

@MynameisJune my left boob is v sore but the right not so much. I'm hoping it's not super pms symptoms as I'm due in on NYD which is still quite a while away and I have a boisterous nephew to contend with on Christmas Day!

I think this time of year you feel pregnancy symptoms anyway. Everyone is knackered, bloated, spotty and craving junk food. It’s hard to know whether it’s just the season.

That said, I’m at 8dpo and have really sore boobs. Taking my bra off is agony. Lower back pain too, but that might be from hours of housework I’ve done today!

This probably sounds weird, but my cat is being all affectionate around me at the moment. She usually cuddles up to DH on the sofa, but sprawled across me and even let me rub her belly. I wonder if she’s psychic and can sense something?
