Test day is Christmas Day!!

So this cycle my PG test day falls on Christmas Day!!
What a lovely Christmas present a BFP would be!!!
I wouldn't need to worry about what to get my MiL she would be over the moon!! Ha!
Ahh I'm just dreaming of a baby dust filled Christmas!!
Anyone else's cycles falls similar???

1st time ever i have got a 100% def pos opk Hallelujah!!
Was almost pos yesterday (lines very nearly the same) but today test line is definitely darker than control. It's so satisfying lol
So looks like i'm ovulating around cd 18 of 29 day cycle. Let the 2ww or 12 days in my case begin

Lol Merrz I'm the same with my positive opks! I always take a picture of it on my phone as then I can look back at the date and remember when I ovulated but sometimes I just like to look at it all proud!

TBF I have PCOS and had years of stark white tests so when I get a positive one it's a real treat!

Testing 22nd if no period by then.

Not too hopeful as we've been trying a long time, but there's always a little Christmas wish.

If it's not to be at least I can enjoy Christmas food and drink without worrying about it - that's the way I'm looking at it for now :) I would have been quite disappointed to have Christmas fall in the TWW!

fx for you BertieBotts that's what i'm thinking, won't be too disappointed if i don't get bfp this cycles because at least then can enjoy the festive season without worrying.

I told DH last night that my Ovia app was telling me to test on Christmas Day, he doesn't think it's a good idea as he thinks if I get a BFN it'll put a downer on the day!

So now I don't know whether to hold off until Boxing Day, test on Christmas Day or test earlier on Christmas Eve and get it over and done with!

I'm used to getting BFNs so I don't think it'll spoil Christmas, I think he's just worried in case I get upset but I really won't!

@ConfusionIsNothingNew my DH said something similar but I think I would rather know either way and as some of the others have said if it’s a BFN at least I can relax and enjoy some guilt free drinks without the worry.

At least you have nice stuff to distract you on xmas day. It’s worse to get a BFN and then have to go to work, sitting around waiting for your period in the office. Grim.

I agree with you both, to be honest I'll be 13DPO on the 25th so more than likely won't even hold out until then

Yeah I agree.
But I'm going to do it Christmas Eve. And then don't be disheartened if it's a BFN because I can enjoy Christmas and drink all the wine.
It will be fine either way I'm sure.

So I got my surge today..which means I should be 9/10 dpo on Xmas day! So I will be testing with you all, hopefully it picks something up, I have stocked up on frers, cbs a cb digital and loads of ic! I've also got a pressie for DH to reveal it which I was always going to do but I'd love to slip it under the tree on Xmas morning! Positive thoughts in the tww this month ladies!

Mine is new years day!!! How wonderful would it be to start new year like that.

I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but I've been feeling sick and so, so tired... and boobs sensitive to the slightest thing.

I think I'm going to be sad if I'm not now because I've thought about it too much so might try and test early. FF reckons I'm due on the 18th but I think 20th is the latest so will try to hold out until the 21st.

I was also thinking wistfully about a little gift box with the positive test in it (!) gah I'm just torturing myself, hurry up 21st!

I'm 8 dpo with test day on Friday. Trying not to get my hopes up but had some spotting today which I've never had this early. Really would love to give my parents the best Xmas present ever!

We gor another negative this month but ovulation is apparently christmas day so here's hoping for some christmas magic

Ugh I think I’m getting a cold. Ache all over and feel like shite. Had horrendous ear infections (plural) in my last 2ww and it’s so annoying being ill as you get preggo type symptoms.

Temperature has shot up today but I was restless.

I'm not feeling hopeful at all this month even though I feel like we dtd all at the right times this month.
I've had no signs of ovulation so I'm really confused as I am on cd 21 so I think I should have ovulated by now? I've had no aching breasts, which I usually get, and no little aches in my lower abdomen which would suggest I'd ovulated.
Any one had anything similar happen? Why havnt I had these little indicators, I think it's gonna be a bfn for me when I test in a week.
Can't let it get to me though.

I'm due to test on boxing day but will test Xmas day then if I am I can suprise the hubby and kids ☺ x

So glad to see this thread! I'm also testing on Christmas Day if AF doesn't show before and i'm so nervous!

In will also be testing on Christmas Eve/Day too. Not feeling hopeful but still have everything crossed. Has anyone else experienced crampy type pains on one side soon after ovulation? x

I’ve also had some cramps pains and some symptoms but I’m ignoring them this month as best I can. Last month I was convinced I would get BFP co so bad so many but didn’t. Trying not to get my hopes up again this time x
