Test day is Christmas Day!!

So this cycle my PG test day falls on Christmas Day!!
What a lovely Christmas present a BFP would be!!!
I wouldn't need to worry about what to get my MiL she would be over the moon!! Ha!
Ahh I'm just dreaming of a baby dust filled Christmas!!
Anyone else's cycles falls similar???

I’ll be 10dpo on xmas day so I won’t be able to stop myself testing! Good luck to everyone. It’d certainly be the best present.

@dingdongdigeridoo me too! You'll have to let me know how you get on! I've been reading so many mixed posts about when people have had their BFP and I'm hoping 10dpo will be late enough to show!

Is anyone else temping?

I've started temping for the first time this cycle @Pinkslink17 . I'm on CD13 and I think I ovulate tomorrow

@Kkk87 me too, I'm trying to get tho grips with it but it's quite confusing! Hoping that after my first month of it I will get the hang of it, mainly doing it so I at least know that I've ovulated instead of driving myself crazy! Let me know how you find it, I'm also using OPK for the first time along side it, only CD 9 so I've got a few days to go I think. Have watery CM at the moment though so fx it's on it's way!

I've always used opk's from starting TTC .. I find temping quite confusing too. I struggle to do it the exact same time each morning. It's usually around 6am but it's been as early as 5:30 and as late as 8am I hope it doesn't make too much difference. I've been doing it each time before I even sit up in bed.. praying we don't need to get to grips too much and we get our BFP's this month

I've not tried temping, I've been using opks (the clear blue advanced monitor) which seems to be working. The results seem to correlate with the monthly blood tests that I've had anyway! Not the cheapest of options though.

I'm due to test Xmas day also. Would normally wait till period is late but as it's Xmas day and no shops open, would like to maybe do a test that day? Anyone else buying a test to do Xmas day and not wait till they are late?

I won’t be late on Christmas Day but as I want to drink that day i’ll test and see. Should be around 10 or 11dpo.

@Kkk87 fx! I've just checked back on my old OPK strips which I thought were completely blank and now that they're dry they're showing clear lines! Only IC but fertility friend seemed to think that My fertile week started straight after AF which I thought was very strange so I checked! Not dark enough yet to show I've ovulated as they're still quite light but I'm closer than what I first thought!

@FluffySavage do you test with OPK once or twice a day?

@xxxParisexxx I will be, I'm on various different apps that put AF anywhere between 26th Dec and 2nd Jan!

I only have to test once a day in the morning, over 10 days. Helpfully the monitor flashes at me so I don't forget in my morning brain fog! I did try the internet cheapy OPKs but couldn't get on with them. In exiting news I got my peak this morning, so DH is isn't getting an early night tonight :-)

I'm due af Boxing day so planning to test 23rd so i know whether to drink at my works party or not, would so love to be able to tell dh on xmas morning that he's going to be a daddy

@MrsBee5817 I am due to test Christmas Day also lol fingers crossed for both of us lol but I have a feeling I want be lucky lol trying to hold off till then as that's exactly a week post possible period I wanted to wait late this time to test after MC .

Helen290 good on you if you can hold off a week past af due. At least you should get a definite bfp, I'm a bit worried if I get a negative I'll still be hopeful

@Merrz so am I I'm worried it will just be negative and no period which means a long cycle I had finally got my cycles to a normal length just hope the MC doesn't mess them up

Ahh it's so nice to see so many people that are in the same boat.
I'm not feeling hopeful, I think my app was a little messed up and worried I didn't take full advantage of fertile week, so I'm not totally convinced it will happen for me.
Although I hadn't had sore breast or pains so I don't think I have ovulated yet.
Just shows you can never tell can you.
I would so love to tell dh on Christmas Day that he is going to be a dad.
Aw what a lovely dream.
Let's hope it's a reality for us!

This was me last year, AF due on Christmas Eve, but I cracked and tested a couple of days early. This year I’m typing this as I hold my 14 week old DS. Wishing you all luck for BFPs and lovely 2018 babies.

Aww Archip17 that feels like such a dream for me right now. I really hope all us ladies on here get our bfps for xmas, genuinely the best present I could ever want

I'll be CD27 on Christmas Day so I'll probably crack and do a test. And if it's negative, well at least it's Christmas!

It's my first successful Clomid cycle (successful as in I produced a follicle!) so hoping for some luck, however I'll be concentrating on DS (3) to worry too much if it didn't work this month.

My 2ww starts tomorrow. That's when I turn into a crazy maniac! The thought of BFP Christmas time makes me want it even more this month! Saying that last month I really wanted it too as I would of been 22 weeks on New Year's Eve and I thought announcing it to everyone one New Year's Day would of been lovely too! Let's hope for us all that December sends us all lots of baby dust x
