January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

@Owlpatrol have you used a frer? I was getting lines on a frer last time but nothing on an IC. I've read mixed reviews on the ICs

Me and the hubby were just having a slight disagreement (over DIY obvs 🙈), and then he just looked at me like I was being a teensy bit unreasonable by nagging at him and I just shouted - "Sorry I'm just feeling a little HORMOTIONAL". Well we just burst out laughing. Word of the day!

If I did an OPK at 17.15 can I do another one at 20.15? Is that a long enough hold with no fluids?

@Gudgyx I do! But I don't trust those clear blue tests. All of mine have looked like that and one month I got a bfp on a first response and another few months everything else was negative & af started. Try to get a pink dye test

I have one more of these tests to use with fmu tomorrow, won’t get a shop open to get a pink dye test now until 2nd!

Hi, I've been reading this threads for months. TTC for 2.5 years and nothing, I am on an ivf wait list, not believing that it's got this far as there's 'nothing wrong'. I have no-one to talk to who understands, my husband has an 'ivf- will- fix- it' attitude, and isn't emotional about it. I'm not sure I want ivf, I have been bursting into tears without any sort of trigger, has anyone been to clinical psychology to talk it through?

Has anyone been to a clinical psychologist to talk things out? It's been 2.5 years of trying with no 'apparent problems' after countless blood tests, sperm tests and a laparoscopy. We are now on an ivf route, which I'm not sure about and I have recently started to burst into tears with no real trigger, it just happens. My husband is great, but he has a positive we- aren't- the- worst- off- attitude, and I know that..I just can't help feeling this way.

@countrygirlx, I am sorry to hear the difficulties you’ve had. I guess in many ways the most frustrating aspect would be the lack of explanation for not conceiving. How long will it be before you are at the top of the list? I have no experience of the psychology but I should imagine it would be helpful to talk things through xx
