Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Mind if I join.. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to join this thread but here I am.. af arrived Christmas Day!

Ahh I just tried a clear blue digital and it said not pregnant :/ are they less accurate than the first response?

@Mrs2812 first response is a lot more sensitive so it may take a little longer to show on other tests x

I darent get too excited yet, line is very faint and not really progressed much in 24 hours (I know I know) but have to remind myself yesterday’s was only 8dpo and today 9dpo so still very early. Just really hope it sticks, I can’t bare the thought of starting back at square one yet again!

Hi guys! I hope everyone is enjoying the festive period :-) and sorry for the ladies that literally have a festive period! I am on cd13 now and have been doing cheap opk s for the last few days. It's my first time using them and it's kinda cool, I started off with literally no line and today there's an obvious line, definitely not positive but progressing. The apps are telling me I will ov on the 2nd so I think that's looking about right. We've been majorly chilled about dtd and only done it once so far but it was spontaneous and SO hot (Sorry tmi lol). We are only going to dtd a handful of times, enough to cover the fertile window.

I've had a good few drinks and naughty food over Christmas which has been so good. I didn't realise how much I had been restricting myself whilst ttc, I will almost kick myself if I get a positive this cycle as we've been so laid back.

Anyway, I'm rabbiting now!

@Mrs2812 I see a line too, congratulations. Maybe try the digi in a couple more days, Im sure it will pick up then.

I'm thrilled to see the bfps start rolling in, fx they are the first of many for us all!

How many days before af did you all test? I can't pinpoint ov exactly so I'm not sure when is sensible to test.

I'm about 12dpo today some mild cramps and feeling as though af will come. Either starting a diet next week or on pregnancy health kick either way! Hope it's the later one. Planning to test Saturday and Sunday as I'd love to tell dh new years. Cramps are really odd like they are bearable and not bad like normal af cramps. Feeling hungry and tired like normal pre af but I'm reading too much into my vivid dreams last few nights trying not to read into it. At due 1st or 2nd

I hate not knowing like the rest of us lol

I just can't seem to get much done as I feel tired

No normal af symptoms.
No spots
Cramps
Anger (instead I've been crying lol)

I’m due on the first Jan according to the flo app but it’s my first time tracking these things as I’ve had the implant for 6 years so never paid much attention to cycle length! I’m too Impatient having to wait each morning to test fmu this is going to kill me! All the grey dots are negative ovulation tests so I think I need to see a digital before I believe anything :)

@LostMyBaubles I'm the same. I feel nothing other than Fatigue and I usually get alllll the pre AF feels/symptoms.
AF was due for me Tuesday anytime up to Tomorrow! No sign yet

Just had a bit of a disaster. Static smiley this morning so DTD. OH was struggling (I think because it was a bit cold!) to finish so gave himself a helping hand (sorry for TMI in next bit) then said he was about to so tried to shove it back in but we fumbled a bit (a bit like handing over a baton in the relay) and he didn't manage to get it all the way in before he finished. When he pulled out there was quite a lot of you know what on the end of it so I told him to shove it back in, which he did. But now worried it won't have gone far enough up to get the little blighters through the cervix!!!

Do we try and DTD again tonight or wait until the morning to give his swimmers (and my foo!) time to recover?!

@coastalchick oh chick that made me giggle (sorry) the fun and games of ttc....did you hold legs up for 10 minutes? I know it's a wives tale but i do it anyway. I think you'll be ok tomorrow morning

@owlpatrol - ha ha! I know, it is bloody funny though! We also had the cat scratching at the door, me referencing sherbert dip dabs when he was putting it back in! It was an eventful session!!!

I'm thinking morning too as will give swimmers a chance to replenish a bit!

But that said, I don't want to miss ovulation this time. I'm 40 in sept and had a MMC in August this year, no kids, so desperate for it to happen! We also DTD on Tues am.

I would tonight

Sperm replinshes within a few mins from what I've read online
Within a few hours it's good quality sperm

Dtd as much as possible tonight
Tomorrow morning etc

Sorry I haven't been around for a while ladies, but congratulations to those with Bfp's so far!

I think I'm probably out already, although I'm only 5dpo. I had a ruptured ovarian cyst on Christmas Day/Boxing Day, just after my positive opk on Saturday. So i ended up in agony, and in hospital. Ive got to wait for a scan, which may lead to more surgery for endometriosis.
I can't see my egg will have survived the ruptured, or the bleeding, and we only managed to dtd once, so I'm not holding out much hope for this month.
