January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Thanks @impatienummy that's great I think today's was the positive (which means the wine I drank on Christmas Day was ok- phew it was a very very faint line the 24th and 5th

@Gem1990 don't be too down about that - it's not impossible to conceive having PCOS 😊 I am too trying to push for a scan to see if I have PCOS , although I just got told to go lose weight because my BMI is OBESE despite me being size 10-12 hmm!

I'm not really sure whether I'm Jan or Feb bus as my previously reliable periods have been a bit erratic over the last couple of months. Typical as planning to TTC after the next one. Which I think will arrive 1st Jan though it could be earlier...

Will kind of be cycle #1 but we tried for 3m last year then had to stop for another few months. So also kind of cycle #4.

@lauraxgirl - thanks for the kind words. Fingers crossed all goes well for you and they do test for PCOS, it frustrates me when doctors don’t always listen as we know our bodies best!
For me my period is every 110-120days so my dr referred me. Waiting for my scans mid-jan and follow up appointment in Feb but in the meantime I have also been told to lose weight although my BMI is 24, being healthier isn’t necessarily a bad thing but being told the week before Christmas is not easy!

Im feeling a bit Debbie downer today I've tried so hard to put a brave face on but it's wearing thin. One of my sister's best friends is 10 weeks pregnant this week and was only trying 2 months and just came off the pill and got pregnant and she didn't realise till she was 7 weeks!!!! My sister wasn't sure how to tell me either so I feel like I'm becoming one of those women who is a crazy ttc mare who nobody dare talks too..... Only a couple of people know we are ttc though. Got quite a few af symptoms now....so just needing to ride it out

@owlpatrol I completely understand where you are coming from. Every person I know is falling pregnant at the drop of a hat! I too am a bit glum today, 4 more days to go until testing! fx for you xx

Did a boots ovulation test today. Has anyone used them? Pack of 7 in a plastic casing?

Showed a faint line (which is -ve), but does this mean that the surge of LH is about to begin over the next few days?

Ha @pinkypromise77 Me too! I'm desperately hoping for some symptoms to actually spot because atm I have nothing.

I think being off work is making it worse. Its giving me more time to think about it all which isn't helpful.

@jubbablub this seemed to be the case for me although I'm new to testing I got a faint line for three days then a strong one. However chances of conceiving are going to be slim if my 1 year old doesn't go to sleep soon- she woke at 11 and hubby has fallen asleep while I've been trying to settle her Confused

Ah thankyou owl, I really really hope this is your month I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you! I darent get too excited yet as the line is only very light. Stupid impatient me is already worrying myself though by taking another test 12 hours later and being shocked it’s no darker. Just so worried as I’ve caught it early and last time my tests got lighter and lighter till I miscarried!

@lauraxgirl possible but not entirely sure how it all works. If it then rises and stats above the cover line then I think that's ok

This is my chart....any thoughts? I thought I was out because it's gone down to pre ovulation temps so not sure. Slight rise this morning. Had super vivid dreams again last night so not sure if it could be a symptom this early
