Welcome all anti-fertile fuckers! This is our clique for those trying longer than 6 cycles and are pretty fed up.

Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
• Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
• Thou shall not be offended by strong language
• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

I have PCOS and 40-45 day cycles, been trying since May, am 33 and a half now. Nothing, zip, nada.

I have no idea when I ovulate, OKPs never show a proper line and EGWCM happens at odd times or not at all. I’m starting to get really, really upset about it, particularly as DH has a low sex drive and we struggle to DTD twice or three times a week. If it was even obvious when or even if I ovulated it wouldn’t be so bad, it just feels useless right now. CD 42 here, I got my hopes up again and just tested with an early cheapie, negative again. so sick of this.

Part my New Years resolution is to join this thread after lurking for longer than I'd care to admit. I have no one in RL apart from DH to talk to, and it's getting frustrating and lonely to have to constantly bite my tongue at the 'when are you having a baby' comments. TTC #1 and coming up to cycle 12 in the new year. Been off contraception for a year and been charting since around April and in that time have had not even the slightest hint of a BFP (despite having two cycles where AF was 12 days and 8 days late). Just back from Christmas break visiting my new nephew which was difficult with the added questions and comments (of course my little DS accidentally got pregnant with her BF of 5 months and using contraceptives). Anyway, here is to 2018!

I find it useful too. Last month I thought I was doing it at the right time but then my cycle was really long so I can't have ovulate d when I thought I did. At last with temping I'll know.

Uuggghhhhh I am ill. I have a horrid cough and headache and feel sick. It’s partly actual ill and partly needing a few days off the booze. AF due today ish. DP’s SA came back as normal, and I’ve got an appointment next week to discuss bloods, scan, and next steps. Happy new year yammers!

@mamabooks (false) hope? Cycle 14 gone, 15 is no dtd as HSG booked. Not exactly motivated but I don’t know what else to do except carry on trying 😢

Hi lexie what's a hsg? I don't even test anymore or symptom spot. I feel like I have mentally given up. I've been nagging dp to book his S.A! Hopefully he is going to ring them today.

@mamabooks it’s a bit like an internal Ultra sound except they put dye into your tubes to check for blockages, maybe flush any out. It’s not supposed to be painful, just uncomfortable and undignified! I think @bubblegum just had one? Basically once I got to cycle 12 the GP could refer me to the (sub)fertility clinic - cause I’m 35. So the standard tests are US, various bloods and this HSG. But no unprotected sex before the test hence no dtd this cycle! TMI: using a condom is weird when you’re TTC! My HSG is booked for the 8th so I’ll let you know next week. My hope stems from this all helping with info for the docs 🤞

Yes let us know how u get on. I just had ewcm tinged with yellow TMI! And teeny light went into my head of "is this a sign". I never even think about symptom spotting lately.

Hey ladies, happy new year!

How is everyone ttc wise? I’m just (impatiently) waiting for my second fertility clinic appointment on 16th. We should get OH’s second lot of SA results back (they were normal first time but clinic wants to check themselves) and will get my AMH results back and a consultant will go over my US results and I guess we go from there. Apparently my US looked normal according to the sonographer but I’m convinced they’re wrong and I’m going to explain my more pathetic than usual period I had last cycle (just brown and watery, sticky on day 2. No red blood at all) and hopefully they will refer me for a hysteroscopy to check for scar tissue. It’s frustrating not knowing. In the meantime, my uni course starts end of the month, I got my very first tattoo yesterday and I’m planning more, I’m not doing opks anymore as per the nurse’s suggestion and I’m not even tracking my cycle anymore. I know how long it is roughly and it seems sore boobs for a week before af is a thing every cycle now so I’ll just use that as a guideline. I’m done with apps.

Trying out SMEP properly this cycle, dtd cd6 (DH Birthday) and cd8, shattered already Going to do OPK's as not sure when I will ovulate, last month was cd13 and previous cycles were between cd17-19, only issue is my New Years resolution was to drink more water so the 4hr hold is tough!

I use Ovia too, not sure it’s that accurate but I keep inputting various info. I prefer Clue but it’s far more basic so maybe I’m just lazy!

I think we might look at self funded IVF this year.

Silver that's the kind of thing that I'd shout as well and my DP does take a lot of hot baths so I do wonder if this is affecting his swimmers

I'm feeling a bit fed up of it all really. I was told at New Year "ooh, this time next year you'll have a baby to hold in your arms" yeah, not bloody likely unless it's someone elses. Even if I fall on this month I wouldn't be due until the middle of October so there's only a couple more chances for a baby in 2018! and it's my birthday soon and I'm suddenly feeling a million years longer !!
