Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
• Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
• Thou shall not be offended by strong language
• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

I got.results of my day 21 bloods and it says I ovulated this month so that's now for DH to get semen analysis done next before we are back with the dr.

BFN here. Couldn't have been a whiter test.

Is the 2WW longer at this time of year with 🍷 and 🧀 temptations? Even though I know I ovulated while OH away and can’t be pg there’s that niggling hope 😩

Does everyone abstain from alcohol during the TWW? Does it make a material difference?

I've been almost teatotal since starting to TTC over a year ago. Odd glass of fizz for celebrations but that's it.

I think you're fine if you're not actually pregnant though.
I was at the drs today because I'm poorly and she said a few ibruprofen is fine even though i could be pregnant (she says fingera crossed)

grumpy have done some months when haven't had anything from FW to AF, but now have the odd one and some wine on weekends. Don't think low levels make much difference TTC (GP's advice was 'a glass of wine can help') and limited evidence that would affect anything in early weeks of pregnancy, before placenta is fully formed (when blood supply is shared)

I drink during the TWW. The idea of the worst year and a half of my life without wine makes me want to weep in a corner.

Off at the end of the week and heading to an xmas market- where I will defo be having mulled wine! I think it’s fine that early on anyway, I’ve just reduced my overall consumption considerably in the last 4/5 months.

AF has finally finished TMI heaviest period I've ever had, had to change a super+ tampon every 2hrs so painful I had to take cocodamol and really clotty. Never experienced that other than when I mc, usually a little crampy and only use regular tampons. Not sure what's going on?! Gearing up for fw, hoping to see 2017 out with a bfp!

I've definitely cut down my alcohol intake but if i have an event during the TWW I will have a glass or two.

grumpy there’s no need to not drink during any part of your cycle when you’re ttc. Until you get a positive pregnancy test, drinking won’t make an ounce of difference to anything. Think about the tonnes of women who get pregnant on drunken one night stands lol and in terms of the tww and not drinking, I think it’s not until around 4-5 weeks that an embryo starts to use a placenta and you would have got a positive test by then anyway :)

@Si1ver according to Glow I am 12 DPO on cycle day 37 (usually have a 35 day cycle but it now fluctuated up to 40 days urgh). Guess I was just too early for AF.

Feeling rubbish but going to an event with free food and drink tonight. I rarely drink but I've heard there will be Glühwein 😍

Today I am now starting cycle 11!!! I honestly can't believe it is taking this long.
I've come off social media for a while so for those on the Facebook group this is why I am not on there atm.

Does anyone else on here have Instagram? Mine literally taunts me every day when I go on search. It’s just photos of positive tests/pregnancy announcements, pregnant women and newborn babies!

@TheGrumpySquirrel I abstain from alcohol and caffeine during the 2ww. There's no evidence for it, but it is an excuse to crack open the gin when AF inevitably arrives.

I don’t have Instagram or facebook so I don’t have that to deal with thankfully. I do have people at work asking me if I’m pregnant yet. Bloody nightmare!

@Bubblegum89 you're doing Instagram wrong. Mines all cake decorating, hot tattooed men, puppies and interior design.

Deffo - I don't use Instagram for people I know. That's what Facebook is for (and why I basically don't use it)

I have an Instagram, it’s a scrap book of my life etc but I have to scroll pretty fast if I’m browsing because it is baby galore.

DH went for his doctors apt yesterday and they squeezed him in for bloods this morning! Bad news is that he can’t have his SA done until Feb - Valentine’s Day to be precise!
