Hi guys, been reading loads of threads over the past few days. I am now 2dpo on my first cycle of ttc #1. I've created this thread to see if anyone had any success In conceiving in the first month or so. Really trying not to be crazy or obsessive but this is all new to me! I came off the pill last month so I know there's an unlikely chance of getting pregnant due to hormones. But if anyone has any comments, feel free to share!
Flowers Good luck to everyone xx

Go to your GP and ask if they have any free slots this afternoon? I wouldn't have thought that at 4dpo an ectopic could cause any issues, it would probably be too early.

We stopped using contraception the middle of June. Had July period. No August period. Due April 10th. Took my mum 6 years to conceive and my younger sister 3 years so we thought it would take a bit longer.....

UTI's are a common early sign of pregnancy.

I had my implant taken out, waited for my period to come (so I would have a LMP date), downloaded an app called pink pad. Put all my dates into the app and it told me which day would be most fertile; did the deed and we were pregnant. I was amazed

Glad you're on antibiotics OP, honest to god though I wouldn't test until you're due, it's expensive and gets your hopes up unnecessarily. Took me until I was 5 days late to get my positive test result (and I was one of the ones that you asked about who came off the pill and conceived first month).

Conceived pretty quickly once we decided the time was right.

I used Ovia to track my cycle, but to be honest I knew when I was ovulating due to CM. So we just did the deed then.

I was advised by the doctor to lose weight before trying, so I lost 25 pounds, so was around 10.7 stones.

@mummabubs yes I won't test until AFs due, only done test today cause doctor said she had to rule it out for now. Might wait till payday to test unless AF beats me to it!
