I've eaten a whole box of orange matchmakers instead of dinner. I've read almost every post on AIBU. There's nothing happening on Facebook. I've got 12 days until I can poas..........someone join me and keep me sane

Haha this made me laugh. I'm the same. Can't stop eating but that's me generally. Ive joined a gym though! Starting from tomorrow I am going to exercise every day!

GreggsSausageRolls · 17/09/2017 21:11

I'll join you. I've got cake and BBC iPlayer for instead I'm looking up my fake symptoms and driving myself insane.

EsmeGNU · 17/09/2017 21:18

I love a fake symptom, because obviously at dpo 1 I've got a ton of those. Where in the cycle are you guys?

GreggsSausageRolls · 17/09/2017 21:27

I'm 8dpo (I think). I'm not charting or using opks because I thought it would make me less psycho and ttc-obsessive. Guess what, it hasn't! Also all my symptoms such as cramps and shooting pains also my endo symptoms. So I'm going completely nuts. I do have a touch of nausea today but could be because I've been rubbish at drinking water lately.

MrsMallon14 · 17/09/2017 21:49

Hey!

I'm on teonweek wait to! First month trying and kinda trying to eat myself sane to! Haha!

Testing 27/9 so long as period doesn't arrive. Did buy the early tests but think they will make me more psycho if negative! Lol!

I've convinced myself I'm getting symptoms to and only 4dpo! Lol! Why do our bodies pull such cruel tricks.

EsmeGNU · 17/09/2017 21:56

Oh my god @GreggsSausageRolls, endo is such a cruel mistress. My basis for being dpo1 is the massive abdo pain I had yesterday, oh the joys of ovarian adhesions thanks to last years endo surgery. Any way that along with my version of an positive opk suggested yesterday was ovulation day. I'm going to be unbearable for the next fortnight.

I'll be 11 dpo by then @MrsMallon14 ......but obviously I'll be holding off testing for at least a few more days..................Hmm

11 days till I can test too. Torture. Keep checking MN and ovia (just in case any things changed!?!?!)). In the meantime I am knitting a baby cardigan to take my mind off it. I'm officially nuts

happybus28 · 18/09/2017 07:13

Hi! I'll join in! Either 5 or 6 dpo, due to test 27th! Trying to forget about it and not obsess this month but it's not going too well!! FX we all get our BFPs!!

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 08:56

Hey @Bubble04 and @happybus28 glad to have some company on the crazy train. FX for lots of BFP's this month.
What cycle is everyone on? I'm on #5.

OP posts:
MrsMallon14 · 18/09/2017 09:22

@esmeGNU I'm on my first cycle and convinced it's going to work as I fell so quick with my first (we didn't "try" and got pregnant 3rd cycle, however my hubby was working away so was technically the first mont we had sex the right time) Setting myself up for a fall if I'm not!

Happy to see another fellow 27th tester! 😁

Anyone used the early tests and had any confidence in results? I bought boots ones that are 5 days before missed period.

Xx

Lndnmummy · 18/09/2017 09:41

I am 2dpo so will be joining you all in the wait. I have a feeling that this is not our month.

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 10:10

Not at all @MrsMallon14, set your sights high and go for it. Got my fingers crossed for you. My Mum was really helpful telling me the other day how she fell first cycle after coming off birth both times.

Welcome along for the ride @Lndnmummy what makes you say that?

Im 5 dpo so testing end of the month. Can't stop myself looking at the tests in the bathroom

mondray · 18/09/2017 11:05

Hi. I'm due to test on the 27th too. I freaky don't know what to do with myself. We have literally been at it twice a day the whole week leading up to ovulation so will be annoyed if it doesn't happen this time. 4 month trying.

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 11:15

Tell me about it @chewbacca83 I did briefly wonder if I should start a new strategy of poas every day of the 2ww to take importance out of it.

Hey @mondray welcome to this particular crazy train. It's so frustrating isn't it. FX it's your month.

I've actually truer some acupuncture this month. I've got a physio friend who does acupuncture, not for fertility, so we are bumbling along in the dark. Can't hurt though.

Hey folks! I'm due for af on 2nd October. My tww starts today. Bleurgh! Cue the Aching Boobs Of Doom and surreal dreams of chasing prams through hospital corridors 😳 ....

loobylou124 · 18/09/2017 17:15

PS @esme and @bubble I am so joining you in the chocolate and knitting departments. Only wish I could hit the gin too, damn it 😇

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 18:02

I wish I could knit a bit better, or crochet. I'm going to the great british sewing bee live on Thursday which will hopeful offer a plethora of distractions.

Apparently dot to dot is this seasons stress release activity.

Hi and thanks for the welcome! I typed quickly at work so forgot all my manners. So happy to find ladies in the same boat! I am just sure I'm in this for the long haul so trying to keep positive. I'm 39 with a fair few issues trc number 2. My oldest is 6 inMarch.

Bubble04 · 18/09/2017 20:16

@EsmeGNU I'm not very good at crochet or knitting. I have no idea how to read patterns. I am relying on vague memories of my grandma's tutorial (when I was 8), and you tube videos... I've managed a sleeve so far lol

Paragonian · 18/09/2017 20:26

I'm also going to join the two week wait gang! Due on 27th / 28th. Might try a test on the 24th.... searching for symptoms... HmmShock

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 20:35

Hi @Paragonian, welcome along, I'm due to test the 29th, but I've not doubt I'll start poas far earlier.

@Bubble04 I think struggling a bit is probably a better distraction technique than being a pro. I'm out of active n on the crafting front tonight at least. I've given myself a mild RSI from scrolling through Mumsnet with my arm at a funny angle. Seriously. Grin

Thanks for the welcome @EsmeGNU. I know it's early days yet but I always worry that I can't get pregnant. I have been pregnant once before but unfortunately had to terminate. Worried that it could have broken something Confused

EsmeGNU · 18/09/2017 21:54

Oh @mondray I'm so sorry, you've been through a lot on your journey so far.

I think worrying something is wrong is natural when it's something you want so much. I go through that thought process every month. Really not helped by DH deciding to announce, just as we decided to start TTC, that he might have issues due to childhood surgery. Didn't think about it in the year where we were talking about TTC. headdesks to infinity
