I've eaten a whole box of orange matchmakers instead of dinner. I've read almost every post on AIBU. There's nothing happening on Facebook. I've got 12 days until I can poas..........someone join me and keep me sane

@Paragonian it's ovia. I quite like it so far, but it's my first month using it, so time will tell
@EsmeGNU I know. We have antibacterial gel dispensers in every room and corridor to try to help, but still to no avail. I blame the government for giving us attendance targets so everyone sends poorly kids to school... so much snot in my class right now it's crazy Sad

ScarlettOH · 23/09/2017 16:26

9dpo today. Did Zumba this morning and out for dinner with DH tonight. Not sure whether or not to have wine... on one hand I am still getting BFN but on the other hand if I do end up being pregnant this cycle I'll feel guilty that I drank (had a previous MC / blighted ovum and know I'll be really anxious if I do get pregnant again). It's probably not worth the upset. Going on holiday on Wednesday, AF due Thursday. Hope I know for sure by then so I can enjoy my holiday (and lots of holiday drinks if I'm not PG)

This waiting thing sucks

GnTplease · 23/09/2017 17:01

I wasn't sure about the drinking thing @ScarlettOH what is everyone else doing? We had people over last night so I had a couple...I'm pretty sure even if you are pregnant the baby isn't feeding from you this early? Also, as you can prob tell from my username, I'm partial to a drink on the weekend and don't fancy 2 weeks every month of no drinking for the foreseeable future. Obviously will stop completely when I get my BFP!

Bubble04 · 23/09/2017 17:13

I can't see the problem with drinking a small glass of wine occasionally (or indeed a g and t). It's not like the placenta has developed etc... I may be wrong though so don't quote me!
I seem to be craving water. I never drink water. In fact I very rarely drink without being reminded (bad I know), but today had to buy a bottle of water on my way through m and s. Not like me at all! Doubt it's a sign of anything. More likely my body's way of telling me to get my act together!

EsmeGNU · 23/09/2017 18:26

I agree with @Bubble04 if you are in the two week wait, even if you are BFP, you are sharing a blood supply so no need to worry about a glass of wine. No harm relaxing and enjoying yourself @ScarlettOH and @GnTplease

I had the water craving the month I had my chem @Bubble04, and I’m like you, barely ever drink. Really hope your get your BFP. FX.

Just with my brother and we’ve been dicking around with my mum’s blood pressure machine (yeah I know rock and roll Saturday night) and I think my resting heart rate is up?!? Sigh or symptom of crazy? 😂

OP posts:
Paragonian · 24/09/2017 10:02

@EsmeGNU no idea of resting heart rate changes! Although there is some threads about it changing following ovulation (search Fitbit and hr)

Just done an early response test, due on 27th. No lines for me, not a sign of a faint one 😔

Perhaps too early to test... I doubt it though

Paragonian · 24/09/2017 10:04

Here's the pic, couldn't attach it to previous message for some reason.

EsmeGNU · 24/09/2017 10:11

You aren’t out until AF arrives @Paragonian FX you get some good news between now and Wednesday.

OP posts:
Paragonian · 24/09/2017 10:15

Thanks @EsmeGNU !!!! Have two FRER's left, so may try and test again over next few days.

Have just booked flights for next two cycles anyway. Really difficult living separately to DH! Anyone else in this situation?

Very grateful for a short cycle though! 24/25 days Wink

GnTplease · 24/09/2017 10:16

Ah @Paragonian it might just be a little too early still. Fingers crossed for you!
Well after saying I had not a hint of a symptom, today they have arrived in full force. Boobs that feel so heavy and sore I had to wear a sports bra to bed and every now and again I'm getting these really sharp stabbing pains right up my fanny Confused only lasts a few seconds but my god!! Ow!! The closer it comes to actually testing the more I'm bricking it...

GreggsSausageRolls · 24/09/2017 10:28

Fingers crossed for you @GnTplease

Paragonian · 24/09/2017 11:06

@GnTplease your symptoms sound great 👍 although not very pleasing to experience of course! Fingers crossed, when are you testing? Exciting!!! 😁

GnTplease · 24/09/2017 16:16

Well my Luteal phase has only been about 10 days so I think im 7 dpo...going to wait until Thursday/Friday and test then if no AF. But usually I would have started spotting by now and nothing so far. Trying not to overthink everything too much though as we literally had one go (slightly by accident) this month and it was the first time!!

ScarlettOH · 24/09/2017 17:11

The last 4 or 5 days I’ve been waking up SO early and I can’t get back to sleep, and I’m feeling nauseous again now Confused
I didn’t drink last night in the end, had a nice dinner though.
Sick of the waiting game, just want to know either way now. AF due Thursday. Go on holiday Wednesday though. I guess I’ll pack san pro and a clear blue digital and see which one I need?!

Bubble04 · 24/09/2017 17:12

I'm so confused with this luteal phase/ dpo stuff... from what I can work out I'm 9dpo today, but af not due till 2nd oct, so my luteal phase is 16 days... so my 2ww is actually a 2.29ww, which is clearly just mean. Does that mean I can test early??? Surely dpo is more important than days pre af??? (Can you tell I'm very impatient and looking for any excuse to POAS ) 😉

GnTplease · 24/09/2017 17:28

@ScarlettOH ooh fingers crossed for good news for you on thurs! Sounds promising.
@Bubble04 I think how many DPO is more important than when you're period is due (also a longer Luteal phase is better for your fertility) So test from maybe 10 with an FRER and you might see something

ScarlettOH · 24/09/2017 17:42

My skin is also heinous which is really upsetting me Sad

EsmeGNU · 24/09/2017 19:44

I just had a weird uncomfortable fluttery feeling in my abdomen, lower left side. Implantation or Gas? (Probably Gas! 😂)

Going somewhere nice @ScarlettOH? Hope you have a break away celebrating you BFP!

It’s so tough working it all out @Bubble04. How long have you been tracking? You know that your luteal phase is generally the same length? I agree with @GnTplease I think dpo is more important.

OP posts:
Bubble04 · 24/09/2017 19:53

@EsmeGNU really? I thought it started at ovulation and finished at af. I seem to ovulate v early in my cycle, so LP would be longer? Not sure, but if it means I can POAS sooner I'm happy 😉

EsmeGNU · 24/09/2017 20:21

Your luteal phase is usually the same length @Bubble04 but the follicular phase changes. So from af starting to ovulation can vary in length but from ovulation to af starting is the same length. Hopefully that makes sense.

rachelandthenoodle · 25/09/2017 07:08

Hey @Bubble04 I think our dates are pretty similar...although FF kicked in this morning and finally decided when it thinks I ovulated and it's saying Sun rather than Fri, which means I'm 8 dpo not 10 dpo like I had calculated.

Either way, I tested this morning, since I figured by 10 dpo I'd get something...and BFN. So going to test again Wednesday, which is when FF reckons I'm 10dpo and if nothing then, I'll just have to accept this isn't our month either.

Bubble04 · 25/09/2017 07:29

@rachelandthenoodle I did the same BFN. Ovia says test Wednesday, so I'm going to leave my first frer till then. The second is for af due date. Rationing frer's lol x

GreggsSausageRolls · 25/09/2017 09:01

Ladies I got a BFN at 12 dpo, then a small FP at 13dpo so don't worry, it may just be too early to test

GnTplease · 25/09/2017 09:13

How are you feeling @GreggsSausageRolls? hope it's all going smoothly so far!
