October Bus - More treats than tricks please!

I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

BFP due October 4th

Congratulations on all the BFPs ladies x due to my long cycles I'm looking at a due date of 5th July if we conceive this month (4th of July would be a pretty cool birthday!!). I've got about a week still to wait until FW starts though.

I'm hardly an expert and it was probably just luck. But a few things I did differently this month:
Took baby aspirin/75mg aspirin from wilkos throughout.
Started exercising - I went from nothing to running a 5k and joining the gym trying body pump, circuits, core conditioning and pilates!
Went for reflexology
Warm foods and drinks, keeping myself warm in general. Raspberry leaf tea and pomegranate juice in hot water.
I was worried that my poor circulation was resulting in a not very fertile womb. I am a cold person in general - my extremities are always cold, so it felt like it was a good thing to focus on.
We also tried different positions (helped make sure dtd didn't feel like a chore!)
And I cut out sweets as much as possible.

I don't know if any of that helped, but none of it would do any harm. This was probably the last month where we would have had the 12 week scan before Christmas as I have such a long cycle, so I wanted to throw everything at it that I could.

Going out my mind waiting for these tests to arrive! Took another look at my opk, the line is darker than the control line. If I’m not pregnant, I just hope the bleeding starts soon as this is getting my hopes up! Definitely ovulated already as I have been temping. And I’m definitely not ovulating now as no cm etc! Arghh why did I do this it’s driving me mad now!

I'm still on this bus too. AF arrived Thursday, finished today, fertile week starts Thursday. Bought conceive plus, frer's and next test will be before 27th October. All ready to go!!

Anyone notice a change in their CM a couple of days before AF is due? I’m trying to decide if it’s normal for me, if it’s a sign of pregnancy or a sign for AF. The sore boobs and being sick every morning is leaning me to being pregnant, because I had that with DS but my tests are BFN. Think I’ll buy some cheapie tests and save my good ones for if I’m late!

Thanks for the tips @holyshmoly. I've just downloaded the couch to 5k app. Even if I don't get pregnant I could still do with getting fit/healthy. I'm really going to throw everything at it this month. Fx for everyone still waiting :)

Update
Went back to the hospital today as I was referred to the early pregnancy unit for a scan by A&E.
Because it is so early in the pregnancy (4weeks and 5 days) both internal and external scan were pointless however, what is now worrying me is the my HCG levels are 45 and I dunno if that is low.
Secondly they found a cyst in my right fallopian tube. Which she says isn't a problem but I gather this is what's causing the pain.

So now I'm holding my breath until the next scan to see if there will actually be a visible sac there. The sonographer did say go buy folic acid and take it.

I'm not sure what to think at the moment.

Poptart the lying back with legs in the air is a good tip I think. Also have sex at least every day

Ovulating today 😁 & for once over this entire week I'm actually feeling quite in the mood for DTD. It's been a pretty stressful week with work, sickness in the household, family problems. So it's nice to have a relaxing Sunday with DD & DH. We have managed to DTD a few times this week in the lead up to today. Hopefully it'll work. We have a ultrasound in 2 weeks so I'm hoping to get our BFP by then.

Eek. Getting darker. Squee.

Caved in and POAS with a FRER but got a BFN AF due Wednesday so possibly too early but having been googling infertile symptoms I'm going to book myself in to be checked by the docs to rule anything out. Lovely news for those who have received their BFP, so pleased for you all! And fx for those still waiting xx

I think I’ve had a super squinter on a frer tonight. Won’t show on a picture, so I can’t be sure. Will probably do another either with FMU or tomorrow eve. sceptical due to spotting today though

I only came off the pill in July so i'm still not entirely clear on my cycle length. One has been 33 days and then 29 but fingers crossed.

I noticed people posted a BFP date, what is that?

I'll either get a BFP or my period in the same week I should have had my 20 week scan, which is also the same week as my birthday (20th Oct). The way things are going, it looks like I'll be crying on my birthday, as my body is so messed up from the MMC and ERPC .

I’m out, AF is starting!

Ahh @Flatwhite31 I know exactly how you are feeling, this month was similar for me. If I’d of conceived, I’d of been due a year to the day we lost our little boy back in June so I was really hoping it would happen! It also means my next bfp/af will be due in November when he was due, and I really desperately wanted to be pregnant before then so it all felt like there was a purpose! Had a breakdown over it last night but feel ok today.

It's just horrible isn't it @Fia256. I had a meltdown on Fri night and Saturday. Couldn't stop crying. Like you, I'm not too bad today, but with me I can get very down very quickly about it all. I'm absolutely hating TTC again, and I know any pregnancy, if I am lucky enough to conceive, will be a scary time rather than an enjoyable one.

Meant to say am on day 3 of flashing smiley. I said I'd stop the IC opks but I couldn't resist, and it was even lighter than yesterday . I think the MC has messed me up.

Yes completely agree, I think I wouldn’t relax until the baby would be “viable” and even then I’d still be worrying! MC will mess with you a bit, I had an early one last month, so really this will be my first AF since. I had 4 days of positive opks so very similar.

I think I’d actually be fine with it all today if it wasn’t for the fact I spent half of last night and this morning feeling like I’m going to throw up! Constantly makes you think well what if? Just want af to start properly and be put out of my misery

Viable as in 24 weeks too as got to 20 weeks last time but he’d stopped growing at 16
