2ww starts here! Any early September testers want to join me?

Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support?

Ps should probably clarify, hubby has just had surgery, hence the strong meds. Just realised that sounded really bad lol

I just joined Mum's Net to join this group. Saw the website's tagline No. One Site For Parents and then left the site thinking, 'can't join this website, that will be bad luck!'

Anyway, threw superstition into the wind and joined! I'm 32. We got married four weeks ago today and trying for number one. We tried for 6 months last year (until I risked not fitting into my dress!) and then restarted trying three months ago. In July I had a chemical pregnancy.

This month my apps say I was fertile last Monday (21st) - yesterday but I believe I ovulated on Thursday. Testing Sept 8th. I've got my fingers crossed I ovulated early as my hubby isn't with me at the moment so we could only DTD in the early days of the window.

Anyway that's me! Nice to meet you all :)

Guys, I have blood! A few spots of dark brown. AF not due till Monday and I'm normally very regular. Hopes are rising...but when to test again. Now 12dpo.

@tarton I think I'm just using the website but on my phone.

I don't think we have a spreadsheet on this thread - there's one on the September bus thread.

Hi @Tarton welcome to the group. You can either use the web site or the app. I'm using the iPad app as it's a bit more convenient but there's not a huge amount of difference. You can choose to get an email notification every time someone posts after you on a thread, or you can turn this function off.

I feel like this is a safe place for unleashing the crazy. You already know about the sperm testing 😂 so here's tonight's question
I'm currently a bit afraid to dtd during the 2ww (for funsies) because when I was pregnant with my son, I ended up in hospital overnight because we dtd and I had some bleeding the next day. I was quite far into my pregnancy though.
Am I being crazy?

@AlexsMum89 I've been the same over the past two weeks! Slightly illogical but it still put me off. Glad to know I'm not the only one. DP thinks I'm nuts

Is it illogical @biscay though? I had a problem before! DH is a bit big and I've told him he has to keep away from my cervix 😂

@Alexsmum it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd be a bit more gentle. No rough sex mrs! 😂

Feel like such an old granny. Sat feeling sorry for myself with horrid AF type cramps, a cup of tea, and crocheting a blanket... is this a sign I'm too old to be ttc???

This is really interesting as the "official" guidance is that it's fine to DTD during pregnancy I think. DH and I hardly did it at all during my first pregnancy though down to him not me. He said he thought it was weird and he was worried about causing damage. I was like come off it it's not THAT big!

Guys I'm gutted. I'm 4 dpo and have had a sharp stabbing pain in my right side all day. I've had this pain before and it's a burst ovarian cyst. . :( is this the end of my 2ww? Has anyone suffered a burst cyst and still got a bfp?? So down right now :(:(

I'd love to join! It's my first tww after being off contraception for over a year. (Lots of looooong annovulatory cycles - like seven months!). I appear to have ovulated around the 19th and planning to hold off until the 31st as I am due to fly to portufal for a wedding that day! That will put me 11 dpo. It's lovely to read everyone's comments and feel like I have some company. Best of luck to you all! Would love to know how you get on. I'm sure I'll end up testing early but am going to try to be strong!!

im 7dpo and pretty sure ive drawn a blank again. im 45 now and i need to stop this because its driving me mad. im on ttc cos i got pg last year. i never had a hope really.
af due 4th sept. not testing.
