Some of you may recognize my username from the pregnancy and miscarriage boards. DH and I have been TTC since September 2016 and I had a MMC in January followed by an early MC in May. We took a break but got back on the wagon last month and this is our second month of TTC again.

I think I ovulated yesterday and we have DTD three times in the last four days, so I'm hopeful this might be the month for us! AF is due on 3rd September and I know it's going to be a long wait. Anyone want to join for some 2ww support? Smile

@Poptart I'm afraid I'm no expert with ovarian cysts. If your cycles are regular though I can't see why it would affect your chances of ttc. If you definitely ovulated then any possible fertilisation and implantation would be prior to the cyst bursting. Obviously I could be wrong, but don't give up hope just yet. Ring your dr in the morning and fingers crossed they'll be able to give you some advice xxx

AlexsMum89 · 26/08/2017 21:07

@Bubble04 no you're fine, I've knitted and crocheted since I was about 16. You carry on!

Bubble04 · 26/08/2017 21:10

@Alexsmum me too, but this blanket really does look like something my grandma would make 😬

AlexsMum89 · 26/08/2017 21:11

@poptart I don't have a clue but I have my FX for you xx

I've had achey cramps on and off for days, it's driving me mad because it's making me feel sure there's something going on down there. Think I might put my onesie on!

Opensesame1 · 26/08/2017 21:28

Mind if I join? I'm due to test on 7th sept but I'm fairly sure I ovulated at least 1 if not 2 days early which would mean my cycle will be a day or 2 shorter this month hopefully.. ttc #2 for 5 months now.. it took 15 months to fall pg with dd1 although I was about 4 stone heavier then so I am hoping that will make a difference this time around!! I will be trying very hard not to be symptom spotting this month as for the last 2 months I had tonnes of symptoms and it was af playing tricks!! 😪 sending loads of baby dust to you all!! Hoping the positive vibes of the group will keep us all going this month!! Xx

Thanks girls. I'm using ovulation tests so I definitely got my lh surge on Tuesday. I think it takes a couple of months for a cyst to form so I could still have a chance but I'm no expert either. I have to say a burst cyst has never hurt this much, in agony here.

@alexesmum we generally don't DTD during tww as we are both worn out from shenanigans during fertile window haha but I think if you fancy it go for it!!!

Been distracting myself by finishing birthday cake for my best mate. Her little girl is one and she is having a fruit themed party as the little one loves fruit haha!!!

AlexsMum89 · 26/08/2017 22:13

@mrsjones beautiful cake! I make cakes too and that's a perfect distraction, it must have taken you hours.
We might not be so keen on dtd so much at the mo. My painful boobs are so bad I can't bear him near me and I'm exhausted and very irritable! Close to giving him a slap!

Mrsjones17 · 26/08/2017 22:21

@alexesmum haha emotional rollercoaster for you! Thanks it did take me ages. I'm only a hobby baker but it's a nice distraction!

Opensesame1 · 26/08/2017 22:41

@AlexsMum89 @Mrsjones17 hobby baker here too!! Trying not to do as much now though as I work full time and it had pretty much taken over my life!! Between working/baking and 2 young kids I never had a minute!!

AlexsMum89 · 26/08/2017 22:55

At one point I was making novelty cakes for just about everyone, but I put a stop to it as I work full time too and I was driving myself into the ground. Now I just bake for my son & nieces mostly. Much nicer!
It really is an emotional rollercoaster! Yesterday we dtd twice, today I want him to keep away from me!
It's probably pms :-(

HolyShmoly · 26/08/2017 23:38

@alexsmum my dh is the same as yours, he did the sperm test last month and asks how soon I can test, has been researching loads, etc. Although I'm due AF on Wednesday and he's away with work till Friday and I can't test without him!
On holiday, staying with family till Tuesday so I can't test early either.
I had a horribly upset stomach yesterday, I don't suppose that's a symptom? I'm reaching for anything here! It wasn't nausea so much as cramping and (tmi) bowel.
No other real symptoms to report.
My sister left a bag of her old maternity clothes for me when she was clearing out her attic and I want to have use for them ASAP!

AlexsMum89 · 27/08/2017 00:18

@Holyshmoly problem is, everything is a possible blinking symptom. I'm glad we have DH acting similar!
I'm really looking forward to getting some test results back from this thread! I don't know when I'll cave yet, maybe we could test together on Friday. Poas buddies!!

PollyCazaletWannabe · 27/08/2017 03:53

@Alexsmum and Holy I'll be lucky if I last until Friday! AF due next Sunday, have already planned to buy some tests tomorrow so I'm thinking Tuesday.. Would that be too early do you think?

Don't believe this. Tested again because bleeding is getting worse. BFN. I'm losing another fucking pregnancy aren't I.

PollyCazaletWannabe · 27/08/2017 04:37

Oh Dungeons I'm so sorry Flowers could you call 111 for advice? Holding your hand xx

OP posts:
DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 04:40

I'm going to call my EPAU tomorrow because I only recently had surgery for our first miscarriage.

I can believe I've put DP through this again.

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 04:41

Can't*

PollyCazaletWannabe · 27/08/2017 04:42

You shouldn't see it like that. It's not your fault. Try to remember that you're both in it together and neither of you is to blame x

PollyCazaletWannabe · 27/08/2017 04:44

I know exactly how you feel though after two miscarriages myself. It's very very hard. I'm sorry

OP posts:
DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 04:44

it's definitely me. They think I've got a blocked tube on one side so I reckon it's because of that. At least it happened before a heartbeat this time.

DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 04:44

I'm sorry you've been through this too. It's horrendous

PollyCazaletWannabe · 27/08/2017 04:51

Yes but whether the physical issue is yours or his, you're still a partnership and you mustn't see it as 'putting him through' anything. You made the choice to TTC together and I'm sure your DP wouldn't want you to feel that. Is he there with you now?

OP posts:
DragonsandDungeons · 27/08/2017 04:54

No he's away. I've tried to ring him but he's asleep. I wish he was here.

I hope it's a mistake and the bleeding stops and I retest and it's fine but it's bright red now so it's doubtful.
